The Turser Complex is a large mansion built on the outskirts of Karakura. It looks like a nice place to stay on the outside. Large gardens, a pool, a generally nice place to be. But were one to look past this, they would notice the various guards and guard dogs. And if you were to get inside and look hard enough, you might find massive stores of illegal drugs and weapons. But otherwise, it's a rather nice place for a mob boss to live in.

The businessman took another sip from his glass of vodka as the video conference ended. Setting the glass down on the stand next to his chair, he ran a hand through his hair and slouched farther into the big, red chair. It was quite a nice chair, said to have been made in the late 1700's. A sigh left his lips and he sat up for a second to remove his suit jacket, showing his red, black sleeved shirt, tossing the jacket to hang on the edge. He stared into the monitors that were in front of him for a second, then slouched back down. Waving his hand, one of the men by the door brought over a television remote as well as the bottle of Smirnoff.

"Shall we ready the shipment for the customer?" the man asked, refilling the glass to half full. Before he could take it away, the man in the chair motioned for him to leave the bottle.
"Ready the shipment, and make sure you take extra men this time. These bastards are known to pull a fast one." The businessman took another sip of the vodka and turned on tv muted, turning round to see who else was there. Beside the businessman and the man next to him, there was another man at the door. "You two can take a break when you get everything in motion." The man bowed and left the room with the other.
With another sip of vodka, the business man skipped through the security camera channels before settling on a baseball game. A butterfly knife was then flicked out and he began to play with it while watching the game, twirling and flipping in around different fingers.
The businessman was Conrad Turser, head of the Viper House mob, currently watching over the Heibishi, their Japanese Yakuza group. With an annoying deal out of the way, there was nothing more he wanted to do at the moment then to relax with a stiff drink and a sports game.

Chantre walked about idly, unconcerned for her destination. She had been here quite a while without a purpose, though she had something now. She never felt quite right without something to do, and helping the sick always cheered her up. The boring off hours were still troubling though. She ran her fingers through her hair as she walked, wondering what to do with herself. For the time being she’d just look around, finding new places about and admiring the architecture. She’s see which ones looked pretty, or had awful paint jobs and the like. Today she was in the higher end of town and as such had lovely houses. They were large and spacious things that would be a pleasure to live in. She stopped suddenly and pursed her lips. She felt something here. She looked around to determine the direction and found it coming from one of the houses farther away, so she walked there. It felt like another Bount, and today she was sufficiently curious, so she would investigate. Her heels clicked with her even steps on the cement, staying at a quick walking pace. She stopped in front of the building in question and admired it for a moment. It looked very nice. However, she could not just remain there. No, she wanted to meet whoever they were and discover if there were more Bounts in the area. The last time she had met Bounts they were in a group, as well as the time before. There had to be those not in a group, but obviously she hadn’t met any yet. Either way, if she wanted to continue here she would have to meet the neighbors. She didn’t doubt for a moment (though really, she should have) that the Bount here was living here and not just in there for some other reason, and pressed the button for the speaker in front of the house. “Who are you?” Chantre blinked and said pleasantly, “I am Miss Argent. I would like a word with, um, the current resident.” She suspected that she would not be allowed to do so, but she could care less about that for the moment. After all, this was something to do, and maybe, whoever they were would come to her.

The bottle had been halved around the time the game was over and the butterfly knife had been replaced into the pocket it originated from. It wasn't so much that Conrad was a drinker, but more so that he liked the taste and couldn't get drunk. As the post game discussion started, 'Inner Channel G1' began flashing on the screen, which meant something in the vicinity of the front gate needed his attention. Switching to the channel, the microphones on his end activated, a red light appearing on the side of the TV.

"There's a woman at the gate that wishes to speak with you, boss. Said she was Miss Argent." Conrad could clearly see her on the screen. She was a looker, this Miss Argent, most likely a litter younger than he was. Well, a little younger than people thought he was. The name didn't ring the bell, but he decided that a little outside company wouldn't hurt.
"Send her into the main foyer. I'll meet with her in a moment. And keep your guns hidden." With that, Conrad switched the tv off and stood up. He replaced his jacket and checked his hair in the reflection of the tv, making sure it was in place. After he left the room, a man in a gray, pinstriped suit would leave to fetch Miss Argent at the gate and bring her inside to the foyer.

Chantre waited patiently at the door. Apparently she was in luck today. After a little while she was informed that she would be taken to see him. It seemed the current resident was male. She was at a loss how to explain herself when she actually met with him, but with any luck she wouldn’t have to do too much explaining. A man came and said he would take her to meet the resident and she followed quickly. She took her time looking around, though she kept up with the man as he led her to the foyer. When they arrived Chantre thanked the man, who was wearing a nice suit she noticed. Fortunately Chantre was fairly business looking herself, with her skirt and button up shirt. She looked around the foyer for a bit, enjoying looking around. In the back of her head she knew the other Bount was still around, she could feel that much. Now she could tell the direction that they were compared with her now, and the rough distance. She could pay closer attention, but she was enjoying herself for the most part, a pleased smile lighting up her face. Waiting was ok, if you had something nice to look at.

Miss Argent had arrived in the foyer a few minutes before Conrad did, so he entered in with a smile. Just as before, he thought that the woman was very good looking. Why she was here was beyond him, but she did ask nicely, and if she decided to pull something, there wouldn't be a problem. There was something a little off about her, something nostalgiac. He shrugged it off and walked over to her, hand out to shake hers.
"Miss Argent, I presume. I'm Turser, Conrad Turser. So I hear you wanted to speak with me." As he shook her hand, more things seemed off. After retrieving his hand, he decided to ask, "Would you like something to drink? A glass of water, or pop? Or perhaps a glass of wine or a Bloody Mary?" He tried to give look of sincerity with his last offer, but his inflection betrayed the expression.

Chantre turned and smiled as the man entered the room quite pleased. So this was him. She was unsure to whether or not he recognized her for a Bount, though she though not. She shook his hand and said, “A pleasure Mister Turser. Yes I wanted too speak with you.” She paused and was about to go on, but didn’t get to it before he offered her a drink. She looked slightly amused at his last offer though she really didn’t want anything. Oh well, might as well have something. “Perhaps you have some sort of soda. I do not really care what kind.” She really did like soda, mostly for the carbonation. After all, she did not need to drink anything, so she might as have something fun. “Ah right, well I was wanting, to firstly, say hello and introduce myself. After all, its always good to get to know your neighbors, right?” She smiled lightly, and then pondered. Did he figure it yet? Either way, she would wait, and see.

At the order of a pop, Conrad tossed a glance and a snap at the man that had brought Miss Argent into the house. He bowed quickly, then took off to fetch the woman her drink. Conrad had caught the slight chuckle she made at the mention of a Bloody Mary. He himself had been asked that question some years ago by a bartender who gave off a similar feeling as this woman did.
"Yes. It always comes in handy if you need to barrow a tool or if run into them at the market." After engaging, he motioned down the hall way. The floor was carpeted in a crimson red, the walls a sort of tangerine color. Down the hallway were a pair of open doors leading to a much more comfortable living room with plush couches. They'd be able to have their conversation in a little bit more private setting there. "So are you moving into the neighborhood? It is very nice, away from most of the noise of the city." After entering the room, he motioned for her to take any seat she'd like, keeping eye contact and being a proper gentleman, of course.

Chantre watched as Mr. Turser sent the man off for her drink. He seemed to be living well, though she couldn’t say what he did. She looked quite amused when he mentioned borrowing tools and such. She figured that he hadn’t quite caught on yet, but either way it was still amusing. She followed him down the hall, admiring the carpet as she went. When they entered the room, she looked at the couches and felt delighted that she could sit on them. The looked very comfortable and took a seat after he motioned for her to do so. “Yes, well, I came into the area recently. You have a lovely house by the way.” She looked around discreetly and noticed that they were alone for the most part. Very good. Maybe she’d still dance around the issue for a bit. “How old are you Mr. Turser? I suspect we are a quite closer in age then you would think.” There, that should be enough. It was vague enough to not be problematic if they were over heard, and right along the alley that a Bount would realize something. Well, if they were paying attention.

"Thank you, it took a while to save up for." In actuality, the house was quite expensive, but he purchased it the day he moved from Italy to Japan. In cash. It was a very lucrative business that he was apart of. The next question sent Conrad for a little twist. It's not normally someone would ask at a first meeting, but maybe she had a thing for him. It wouldn't be that bad if she did, he could easily work it out for the best for his next cycle. Before he answered, the man he had sent to fetch the drink returned with two champagne glasses filled with bubbly, grape soda on a silver tray. Handing one to Miss Argent, he took the other, returning to his seat as the man left and closed the doors behind him.
"I'm 29, but most people think that I'm a bit older." His current persona was to be around there, he couldn't quite remember off the top of his head. "But most think that because I look much like my father," he finished with a sip from his glass. The question continued to roll around in his head for a while as he listened to her response.

Before he could answer her question about his age, the man from before came back in. It was grape soda, which Chantre hadn’t had in a couple years. She took hers and took a sip, enjoying the fun taste and the carbonation. It was quite good, and a nice treat. She watched him evenly as he lied, wondering if he was a little slow on the guessing. Either that or he didn’t know any other Bounts around here. He couldn’t tell, that was starting to become apparently. She sighed lightly and put the glass own for a moment, folding her hands in her lap. “Mr. Turser, I would ask you not to lie to me about this.” After all, there hadn’t been a Bount born in a long time. “Remember, I did say I am a lot closer to you then you might think.” She looked at him for a while, trying to figure him out. It never occurred to her for a moment that he might not have met another Bount before, although she really should have. She assumed far too much. “Perhaps you would like to know my age instead.” She said this softly, musing over it for a moment. The other man had left and had no reason to come back, so she was fairly sure that they could talk freely.

Well, he wasn't quite expecting a response like that. Sure, he was lying, but he was sure that he had lied about it enough to hide any sort of ticks that would give him away. Unless she knew more about him than she should. Or she was just playing games. He was needing a little cheering up so he decided to go with the latter. "Well it seems you've caught me, my dear," he began with a sly smile. "I just didn't want to frighten you off by telling you I was 280 years old." He took a short sip of the soda. "And I thought those occasional spa treatments would help with that." He began to shake his head in a distressed sort of way to keep the mood light.

Ah, there was the truth. Yes, in a tone that was joking, but that was most likely the right figure. Well, lets see how this went. “I do not scare easily. However, I’m still older then you. Still closer then most though.” She looked faintly pleased with herself then added, “I’m around 300. Give or take.” She sounded fairly serious about that but said in an amused tone, “Although really, I can’t imagine you in a spa Mr. Turser.” She took a quick sip of soda and let her words sink in for a moment before saying, “Do you believe me? I do wonder what you are thinking.” She was really wondering, since he wasn’t currently with other Bounts. He seemed to be living well though, so it made enough sense that he liked it here. “I don’t suppose there are any others around here, are there?”
PostPosted: Sun May 31, 2009 4:21 pm

All emotion seemed to drain from Conrad's face, turning to one of complete cool and understanding. His mind, on the contrary, was confused a bit. She could sense that he lied before and responded that she was older than him? Something was off about her. He even let the comment on the spa slide. He stood up, he needed to move, then she said something quite interesting. Any others around here? Others as in...
Conrad had made his way over to the window that looked out onto his grounds and pulled a cigarette out of a packet in his breast pocket along with a lighter. He opened the window before lighting the cigarette, then moved back for the ashtray that was on the table by the couches they were sitting on. About two puffs later he turned back round to look her in the eyes.
"So there are more people out there like me?"

Chantre watched him carefully. The silence stretched out, and he moved around like he was trying to process. She patiently waited for him to say something, though she was curious. When he spoke again, she blinked in surprise. “You mean you have not met any other Bounts?” She suddenly realized that it could happen, though she really would have expected that a century or two earlier. She bit her lip then said calmly, “Well yes, of course there are more of us, though really, not so many as there once was.” She sighed lightly then looked down at her drink. “I guess I’m the first other Bount you have met?” She looked at him patiently, sensing that saying stuff too fast might not be the best idea. She sipped on her soda, for something to do. She might want to let him ask questions at his own pace, rather then letting her tongue rattle off.
