After 11 years and one Nextel (Winston) Cup Championship in 2000, Bobby Labonte is leaving Joe Gibbs Racing at the end of this current season. There will be an opening for the #18 Interstate Batteries Monte Carlo. Where he'll be next season in unkown.

Yeah, I'm glad.After this year he's had, i'm glad.But i wish i got to see him win live in that car.I became a bobby labonte fan at the 2004 daytona 500.It'd be cool if bobby raced for DEI.That's the only position i can think is available, especially with waltrip leaving

I just read form my internet provider's news page that Bobby Labaonte will be driving for Petty Enterprises. He will drive the famous #43.

That's wonderful.......like he's not stuggling enough already.Why would bobby go there?Why?The team leader is a guy who hasn't won a race since i was 7

It's hard to say why Bobby decided to drive the 43. All I can say though is that PE sure has signed some good people for trying to get their program back on track. Although it will still take a long time.

I think that he should do what he wants to do, but I do not agree with him going to petty. I mean, he was falling off his game and he did lose his leading position in Joe Gibbs to stewart

i know bobby didnt have a very good year. but one of the biggest problem i have is that hell be driving the cheerios car. i hate that car. im not sure that this is a good move for him but only time will tell.
