[PRP] Are you sure they are mine? ( Loth and Nanu )

Lothaenorixius wasn't stupid, and he had noticed that Nanu was getting a bit fat. Not the normal type of fat either. He could sense something, even if she couldn't tell him that she was pregnant. He knew. And somehow, he knew who's they were, but he had to make sure. Though, he had waited to long to actually ask her. He wasn't sure if she had given birth yet or not. He had been avoiding her. And not because he didn't want to be with her, but because he was scared.

For the first time in his life, he had no clue what to do. The first time in his life, he cared too much. It was a over whelming feeling, he wasn't sure he could handle it. He felt like bursting with whatever emotion was creeping up slowly, but he couldn't he wasn't that type of wild dog. He was strong, tough, rude.... Why was he scared?

He moved towards his den he hadn't seen in a day or two. At least not for very long. He wondered if she had ran off thinking he left her. Though his treasure was still there. He'd never leave that, or her. At least not now. He had grown attracted to her since the they first met.

Nanu wasn't too far off. She had been in her sister's care up til now. Helping her with the babies and making sure they had enough food up til now. She knew it was time to go back 'home'.. But she hadn't seen Loth around, and it wasn't like she was gunna run to him off of any thing, and the fact he was the children's dad. For OBVIOUS reasons. Most of them had distinct markings from ONLY their father.

She sighed.. Her sister had left yesterday~ along with good news. That she too was pregnant. It made her laugh.. because the sister she thought wasn't gunna have babies, was having them. It.. made butterflies swell up. So. After she left.. She went and cleaned each pup..and most of them followed her, for they smelt the milk of course in her that made them want to eat still.

They were enough to walk on their own now and it just sent chills of joy through her body. The only thing that worried her. Is if, he didn't except them. So. She made an intricate necklace. Full with jewels and it even seemed that the pups wanted to help her but she had been away so long. She didn't want to return with nothing.. well except kids.

She wasn't in the cave but she surely was making the journey back. Some pups dodged around her legs, and one was on her back- another was trying to bite her tail. It.. Was cute. She had the jewelry/treasure she made for him in her mouth.. as she grazed along the path back home. She had that motherly aura around her now, she changed. But for the better for her children. Would he be violent towards them? What would his expression be? Would she have to give them up? She wouldn't. She couldn't! But she HAD to go back home now. To where he was..

With her head held at a low.. her eyes were sweet. They didn't need words. No. The bond between their mother and the children. Once they got near- She stopped upon seeing a dark figure. She couldn't mistake it. Not with her sense of smell. It was Loth himself.. Worry grew from within her stomach all her nerves went WAY out of proportions.

"Loth.. What will you do." She questioned in her head.. Hoping he'd understand even without her words. Her sister had helped name most of them. Funny how she somehow knew that the names would fit each one's personality perfectly. Imamu for instance. The poor child was like stuck Siamese twin wise to her very own twin. But once they got close- she detached for the first time to run full force at the upcoming Black form..

Daredevil. Nanu's eyes widened.. "NOO!!" She tried to whimper out but Imamu found herself slammed against the block of black and fall back instantly. K.O. Nanu's ears went to their sides and gave a heft sigh.. The children were energetic and all around her now. She didn't even retain the weight- she was even skinner than he had been from the point that she only fed the cubs first.. and only minimal to herself but she was kind faced anyways- and made a nervous smile towards her baby.. as she was still a few long strides to get to him. Most stayed beside or around her.

Loth hadn't a clue what to expect when he got home. Sweet home, he had stepped into the land he knew once again. Slowly loving towards it, not knowing who or what was there. With lots of things on mind, he didn't know that she too wasn't there, and was on her way. Though he was much closer then she. For he was now at the beginning of their little area. He could see his treasures. Oh he missed them so much. Having not been looking for things for it, he kinda felt bad. He should have found one more thing to add to his pile. He hadn't for so long.

His head was low as he looked about, and slowly moved. He was looking for her, but she wasn't there. Or at least he couldn't see her yet. He sat down. Having hoped she'd be here. Though, as soon as he thought he was alone... Something hit him. At first he thought it was a bird. It was small enough to be one at least. He turned and eyed it, as it lay there lifeless, at least it looked lifeless. He poked at it, not really sure what it was at first.

Soon, he realized it was a baby.... Not just any baby.... but a wild dog baby. What was he going to do with this? No, no... It looked like him.... His eyes got wide for a moment, then his head went up. "Nanu?" He looked around for her. (assuming that he'd know her name know cause him and Oni's rp will take place before this) He had figured she was pregnant, and that confirmed it. did they only have one pup? No, they didn't... He saw Nanu.... Then he saw the little hoard of pups around her. Oh...... wait... what? How many?

Nanu could only let out a soft giggle.. seeing that he didn't immediately 'attack' the pup. When she got nearer.. her head shot up and chills went down her face. Subira stopped as well. He.. he said her name
... How did he know it!? She was used to the whole 'hey you' sorta thing for so long now.. Did.. he know she was a princess.. that's what made her run away from Silver.. and Tivu. Her heart raced and her cheeks flushed a brilliant with pink..

Backing away.. Imamu, but for now. One of the unnamed ones looked up at her father.. Charcoal black eyes.. Which matched her own.. Black skull marking of her father.. Basically the inverse of her father.. and sister. "auuww~aawwuu~" She squeaked and her tail wagged happily. Some of the other pups started making their way but almost half stayed her their mother. She was asking many questions with her eyes.. How he knew her name. How much does know.. The soft brilliant soft blue eyes...

Her tail curled between her legs as she sort of looked frightened.. Backing slowly which made some of the pups draw back to her.. Something was upsetting their mother- or wrong. Of course they didn't know.. but they followed her because that's what pups did.

More of the pups started sounding off.. It was music to her ears but she feared.. what he knew- if she had to run away.. Or he might not accept her. Her head lowered and drew back once more- her ears slicking down her head. She quickly took the babies that were going ahead and pulling them back around her..Only her necklace on of her lands.. Ready to bound off and leave .. except one of the twins were down with her father which made her heart swell..

Lothaenorixius wasn't given that info about her, just her name like he had asked from the odd female that seemed to know who she was. Though, she seemed to really know since it got an odd reaction from her. Loth wasn't sure if he should say who he got her name from, just that he knew it some how. Magically. Loth didn't move from his spot, he just stared for a moment. More at the cubs then Nanu herself.

One cub stood out the most in Loth's eyes. She was bright greenish in color like her mother's spots, yet he couldn't tell where the blue had come from. Someone else in her family most likely? Loth had only met one of her sisters, or she said she was her sister. He dreaded the day she'd come back and collect on his promise. He feared what Nanu would do if she ever found out. And feared what his children would think of him. He didn't know what to do, but a promise was a promise, and he wasn't one to break. At least not with a little black mail behind it.

He looked at two of the pups that looked most like him. Though one was opposite of himself and the other pup. As if they had twins.... Twins? He looked up at Nanu, and gave a slight smile, yet it wasn't a real one.... It just was one to make her feel alittle more calm. How could he be happy about this? Yet, how couldn't he? Mixed emotions were the worse for Loth.

Laurai moved past her mother, ignoring her as she pulled her back, she just got out and moved again. She wasn't going to let her do that to her. She wanted to see what this thing was. He was a wild dog. And looked like her siblings. It was their uncle. It had to be. She'd not accept that as her father, at least not yet. She eyed around the place that she might as well call home. Nothing interested her except a giant pile of things... Pretty things. She wanted to bound over to it, but she decided against it. Perhaps he was her father after all.

She didn't see her mother keeping stuff like that in a pile so neat and visible to all. No, that was more something she herself would do then any of her siblings. She looked over at the twins and rolled her eyes. "you two are going to get hurt!" She said in a childish voice, yet also a bit rude. It was just another thing that added to Loth's ideas that they where his own.

Nanu then saw.. something. Did.. he smile? She rose her head.. And watched. He didn't do anything to the twin. She just stared a moment.. but then.. one of the children spoke. Which she didn't mind because most of them were chatter boxes already.. Like the one next to her father already.

She waved her tail.. Then she rose up. Nodding and then like an army they were unleashed to their 'home'. Instead of the spring near by. A few paths away from this spot. She was glad none of them got lost on the way, and it was all thanks to two pups that had seemed to be protroling the rest like a pack scouters. They probably will be.. But Subira- named by her aunt.. which the name itself was said to be given by the forest. Or- thats what Nanu's sister said.

She was next to her mother- so she had almost no idea what the lil pup was saying. She watched but didn't speak. Yes, they were twins.. all the lil ones knew that but that didn't mean they were the same being. SHE, Subira looked MUCH like her father. She didn't much care. She neither liked or disliked anything.. but she got annoyed muchly by the only one of her sisters that seemed so bratty.

Her twin sometimes was bratty too- but like an absent bratty.. she was just mislead and misguided most of the time which made it easy to manipulate her if you knew what to say. She looked up and saw her father- she looked EXACTLY like him- except her wings and his snout. She rose her head..flicking her tail..

"Sub..Sub-ba..Subira~?" She looked up at her father.. then turned to look back at the brat, then looked to see Subira. Mother. Then looked up coming to a serious conclusion. "pao-pao-papa!" She gave him a bright smile and wagged her tail. They didn't look like rats anymore! Full fur now- even if it was thin. She went to keep looking up and up- then fell backwards for looking up so much.

Then she looked up at the brat that was coming majorly closer to her and her father. "I'm NAWT GETTIN HOOURYT! ITS Pau-papa!" She pawed at the air- towards her father. But then she rolled and jumped to her toes. Wagging her tail and ready to go!

When she got close and the puppies all surrounding the area and jumping and playing~ and talking and most were fascinated seeing Loth.. He was much larger than Nanu + their aunt.. She slowly made her way over.. it scared her that he knew her name. Maybe when Banafrit was gathering food- she found and told Loth. She doubted that she'd let him know of their titles. Nauh.. She tried a light smile.. but behind it with a motherly smile. When children are born- mother's are born. Is what she could remember a lioness tell her. Somehow she made friends with the most particular creatures..

Her tail slowly wagged.. Which meant for Subira that everything was ok. Which made her own slight twitch but not wag. Just observe all her siblings playing and gathering.. Some even went for the shiny treasures which Nanu made a notion and stopped them.. probably in her own way saying for Loth to tell them no- or allow them. Either way.. they were family and were probably gunna stay.. if Loth allowed it. She was still. Stiff. Almost worried about it all when it came to Loth. But she composed herself enough to lick some of the stop of her children's head... Giving them a gentle head buts if they were boys.

Aesthrondalaurai glared at her sister and kinda stuck her nose up as she mast her to examine their "Father". She eyed him with much caution. "Why wasn't he there when we were born momma?" She asked as she turned to her mother as if her eyes would tell her the answer not her mouth. She learned to read her mother well. It was quite easy, but she really didn't hide the things she wanted to say from her face and her eyes. A look said a thousand words.

She turned and looked back at the black mass that looked like one of her sisters. Well, at least she knew where the ugly came from the family. She frowned at him and eyed him. She didn't hate him, she just wasn't sure if she wanted him to be her father.

Lothaenorixius looked down at the little greenish blue blob of fluff in front of him. He didn't know what to say as she asked questions to Nanu. How, why? He didn't know why he wasn't there... He just knew he couldn't have been there. He knew that he'd have died seeing Nanu in any type of pain. Even if she could live from it. Plus, he heard females bled when they gave birth.

He didn't fear blood at all, but perhaps it was because it was her blood she lost? He'd never admit it. "Are..... are you ok?" He asked Nanu but looked at all the puppies. He started to count them.... five..... no.... six... Still wrong.... nine? Oh no there was more one... ten..... Ten? He looked around for more, but kept seeing the same ones... Ten puppies? He felt overwhelmed.

Nanu slowly drew closer and almost cried.. tears whelped up in her eyes. She was.. being accepted? Such kind words? Banafrit. It had to be that sister, she would never expect Oni to have met him. Thinking she still stayed in the pack as Banafrit and herself both took the paths of the forest, and their own calling. Her being a seer and like her sister needed to expand it. Understand, and if they could.. help. She softly nodded. They no longer looked hairless but a thick coat of fur- it was weeks after that she now brought them here. She was okay, the wound was curing and only when she had to take down gazelle or other animals is when it would hurt, the stress it made.

She looked to Lauri and closed her eyes to give off a very 'its complicated' sigh and tried a smile. 'its ok now'. Which she started to wag her tail and give that motherly feeling to then the lil scouts.


Subira's eyes watched over the kids and looked up at her mother as she drew closer to the male and enough where they were at least only one or two steps away. If her mother was okay with this ... blob of dark fur. She would be too. She looked to Imamu, which would probably be named by another seer that Nanu would go to. Subira took a stride or two but then stopped as she did not want to follow her mother completely to this male. Just stay and stare at the surroundings a little and be spiritually intact with it. maybe the forest, this wasteland can tell her things.

"Papupa~ ?" Was she being ignored? She wasn't sure. So she quickly went up to her father and barked a little which sounded like squeeking and such. Maybe even annoying but she wanted the attention and see what and how he was. Then she turned to one of her brothers which took her attention and made her dart after him.


Nanu gently smiled and absorbed the fact that he knew her name.. and for that brief moment she let herself draw near and nuzzle his shoulder. 'Your a father..' as she looked out in the same direction as he was. To the kids and in this position.. with him. Family? She never thought she'd be so blessed by the gods. With all the hardships it was to get to this place, now. It was all worth it. Watching them scatter away and absorb the family treasures. Some already showed signs of having the interest in collecting things..

Subira oddly enough started to show the same signs.. but like her mother she was more than what she seemed..

Lothaenorixius didn't really know what to do. She was crying now? Was this good? He wasn't sure. At first he thought he could read her pretty well, but now, now he felt completely lost in it all. How could he know what she truly wanted to say? How could he know anything? He looked at the pups, not sure if they had names or not. Who'd name them? Nanu couldn't, and he wasn't around. Perhaps she had more then one sister he knew about? Then again, he wasn't sure, he didn't talk too much with Oni about personal lives. He didn't like going into details with that sort of thing.

He looked down to the noise little thing. Apparently she didn't get that he didn't want her on him. For he wasn't sure how to act with small things such as them. He felt like he could step on them and then accidentally hurt them. Which would make Nanu upset and would probably wouldn't be the best thing to do. "What?" He spoke a little annoyed, but didn't mean to have it come out that way. There was no other real way it could come out. He sat there mostly silent. Happy to see her, yet confused with all the pups that were around.


Aesthrondalaurai had found interests away from the male adult that was in front of her. No, she had found his hoard of things. My they were pretty. How she just wanted to take off with all the shinies there. Though, if he was her father, then that did mean that those were her's too. A rather odd smile came upon her face, a greedy type of look. Oh, she'd love to have every single thing there... Yes... Yes she would.

She looked back at him mid step when he said 'what'. Her head tilted and then she drew closer to him once more. Amazed at the dept of his voice. NOTHING like her aunty. She explained things to the reason of pups. But her voice was soft and girly and HIS was dark and deep. Her eyes squinted and she made a barking sound of protection. Just barking fit for about a half a minute before stopping and looking to her mother.




Her eyes went down.. all the way to the white furred one. They all seemed to look a bit pale but it was their growth. Then watched bark, going in front of loth to let her head swooped down and thumped the little one's forehead.
Stomped the ground with one hard thud. 'No'.

She watched the gesture of her mother and cocked her head. NOWAY did she just stop her sister... Hmph. She stood on all fours and turned away.. to only see her greedy sister go towards the treasure. Wait... treasure? How did these objects in a mountain get here? Why was her sister going towards it? Which made the inner sister follower take control and followed almost loosely behind her. Making her fur disappear and reappear through the shades of swampy trees.

Her daughter at least understood her. Most of them did and Banafrit was kind enough to teach them their names.. but some were not named by her, she put it simple. The world named them. But some would be by the father and that Nanu gave to him. She would show him them later and they'd speak their names. They knew them. She gave Imamu the 'eye' and then sat back up and looked to Loth. She could keep them under control.. even if she had so many.

Imamu was quite baffled and stopped immediately when her mother hit the ground.. Making her ears flatten as she dashed away towards one of her brothers and hid. Her mother that they looked for- for kindness had someone changed by strictness and she knew better then to have her ears or fur pulled and NO play time. THAT she hated the most... Then she couldn't be able to get to her stash. Like her father she collected things. Many lil oddities. Like oddly colored bones that were just lying around for the taking and shiny things.. and dull things. Oddly enough most of the pups had that familiarity of stashing things.. and sometimes under their mother.

Aesthyrondalaurai seemed unnoticed by the others as she slowly made her way to the pretty things. She was more or less making herself at home. Wanting to touch everything she could that might make it into her own paws one day. Soon, she hoped. Anyways, now they were all busy looking at her mother and what she was sure was her father. At least that's what her mother indicated with silent words.

Loth didn't know what to say. All he could do was smile. He couldn't help it. This wasn't him at all. He looked pretty dumb smiling down at all the pups that were his children. All the joy in the world of treasures weren't as good as this feeling to know he had his own kids. And 10 of them. TEN! How did that happen? He felt bad that he made her have so many. She was tiny compared to his massive size. He just hoped it was easy for her. He wanted to ask her questions, but knew he'd learn them in time. He just had to be patient with her. And with them.

Nanu wasn't prepared for Loth's completely different attitude. Perplexed. Tilting her head as her ears flicked from one side to the next.. Then back as she soaked in that smile.. It was different and she only encountered it probably once before but it was.. amazing and weird all at once. Her... mate. Dare she call him that.. Smiled at their children. Finally.. were they accepted as his now?

Ten bundles of joy that she could have and raise with him. Slowly she walked to Loth and looked up at him.. Such strength the mother had for giving birth to them yes, but it was even more that her time was being sucked by all these little guys.. and to bring them to Loth. It was a stepping stone. Was their relationship ready for kids? She hoped so... because they were already here.. with personalities and minds of their own.


Subira grunted and barked.. Which was rare from her since she was born til now. Because she saw her twin go off.. and It just wasn't good.. watching as all her other siblings go off now as soon as they saw moms soften up.

Nanu pushed the kids one by one in front of him. Them barking and doing their own things.. All had something different.. Then she looked to him with a soft smile... and tail wagging happily. 'Yours'. Meaning all of them.. Now. She gave to him.. Then took a step over her children and softly did she take residence beside him.. and look over her kids. Licking at the foreheads that came close..

Her ears perked and looked behind her to see the Lauri and giggled.. in her own way. How she was all over those treasures that Loth protected so much.. she guessed he didn't see her or that he just accepted that now they were apart of it. Which made her smile on the inside. Finally.. we're home.

Imamu was one of the ones pushed in front of their father when she wondered back to her mother.. and looked up at the big male.. Her head looking so up that she fell backwards completely..Then meeped and rolled over to try and puff out her chest like he had naturally..

Loth couldn't deny them if he tried. Most of them looked like him in one way or another. He couldn't help but wonder which ones would be like him. He hoped more of them were like her. Not him. He didn't want any of them like him, actually. He wasn't good in his eyes. He stole, he manipulated, he treated others crappy. Except her. Some how he managed to keep her. Perhaps it was the lack of words she had?

"I'm... Sorry" he spoke softly. Perhaps too softly for her to hear. He wasn't sure. He didn't know what to say or do. Would he be a good father? All these thoughts rushed him at once. He had done something bad while she was gone, and yet... Somehow he knew she'd forgive him. Yet, he didn't want to exactly say what he had done. Though, she'd probably find out soon. He'd just let her find out... That was best... maybe.

He was overwhelmed with joy and hate at the same time. Joy for the little bits of him running around now, and also hate for himself for being the way he was. Though, he'd never let anything happen to Nanu, nto even if she hated him. He'd protect her, and the pups as long as he could. He made that a promise to himself. He'd make sure that'd be the only promise he'd never break.

She watched the girls with prying eyes.. and the boys softer. Some truely were hers.. and others were odd for their age. Being more like her mother in looks. Chuckling over that.. But her voice- as they gotten acustomed to was different. More in sounds and body language than anything. Subira was personally her interpreter of sorts and she was the one stuck by her mother's side and didn't want to get PUSHED on to her father like as if he could deny her.

She nuzzled, and was being motherly til he spoke. The tone in which he used.. struck her as a bit confused. Still leaning over them, she slowly rose her head.. looking at him with those eyes that beheld such kindness. It was hard to put in to words just how powerful her gaze could be. She was once told this by a very close friend..

'Sorry..?'

She questioned him with just that. Her eyes.

Tail ceasing to move as all the lil puppies moved about and started to explore their home.

She quessed that he was saying sorry for them but she wasn't sure. Her seer powers only extended upon touch of a certain item on the right time.. and none of those were hit- so she couldn't have known of her sister's and mate's affair much at all.. except. If they ever encountered each other. How he looked though, she couldn't stand and had to softly smile to reassure him everything would be ok.. that smile she had. The memorable times that she did it. Not too openly but just enough times to make you think of it as special.

He shook his head. His guilt was going to get to him later, but not today. He was a father. He looked at her again, then at each of the pups as if counting them over and over again. Just to make sure he knew how many he had. It was a good feeling, yet a scared feeling as well. He stood up and leaned over and licked Nanu on the cheek to reassure her that nothing was wrong at all. Even though, that was the biggest lie of all.

But what she didn't know, couldn't hurt her... Right?
