While he was not often one for dreams, having always followed Umande's as far as that sort of thing went, he did know when to trust his intuition. Something wasn't quite right in the lands they had chosen to call home... There was unrest almost as tangible as the mists themselves; something he intended to speak with his mate about the moment he overheard talk of some of the Mistweavers leaving their lands.
He sought his mate out now after his morning walk, determined to see whether or not Umande had seen anything in her sleep before discussing their future with her.

She had wandered around the pride lands that morning trying to shake off the odd feeling her last dream had left her with. She had thought that the visions would stop once she and Makani were settled here but that seemed to not be the case. She was having them again, more waterfalls and mists but nothing else. She had searched the pridelands for anything that resembled the place in her dream but could not find a sign of it.
It worried her.

He approached his made slowly, knowing well the look of her current stance. She too was thinking, about what he wouldn't know until he asked. "Umande..." He called out to her softly, pausing where he stood to wait for her to come back from wherever her mind had drifted.

She had been lost in thought but her mate's voice had always been able to drag her from where ever she had wandered. "hm? ... oh, Makini. Back from your morning walk?" She smiled completely oblivious for the moment that she had gone on her own walk of sorts and she was not where he had left her that morning.

"Mm, I was on my way back, yes... But then I found you, here, instead of where I left you." His voice was as soft as his smile as he approached her, brushing his cheek against hers in a welcoming nuzzle. "Your thoughts were elsewhere, my love... Will you tell me of them or should I tell you of mine first?"

"Oh ... i must have gone on a walk myself." She smiled as she returned the nuzzle. At least she had done so in the relative safety of the jungle they were in instead of out on the savanna. There was less chance she would get hurt.
"I had another dream ..."

"So I noticed. Hopefully the spirits were keeping an eye on you where I could not." His smile broadened as he stepped back for a moment, checking her over once before walking a step passed her. "Walk with me then, Umande, and tell me of your dream. I'd hoped that they would stop once we settled here, but..."

"I had hoped they would too ... i had hoped we'd found our sanctuary." It had seemed like they had but something else was lurking here. She wasn't sure what it was but she could sense it.
Getting up she followed after Makaini and told him of the dream she'd had. It was much like the ones she'd been having for months. Visions of jungle shrouded water falls and mists but now the land was clearer and she could not find the same place here.

"We've been here for some time now... It's odd that the dreams would start again, but..." He paused his steps, closing his eyes as he tilted his head up towards the trees above them. "I heard... Others. They're speaking of leaving, Umande; a new beginning. It sounds familiar, doesn't it? Looking for a fresh start... A place without memories attached to them."

"Perhaps .... we are meant to go with them." She couldn't think of any other reason for her visions to start again. "Maybe we were meant to find them here, and travel with them to where ever it is i am seeing." She couldn't think of any other explanation for her visions.

"Perhaps..." He lowered his gaze from the forest roof to his mate, moving closer to her so that he could rest his head against her neck. "There is tension, Umande. I don't want to get wrapped up in it, but I will do what I have to in order to see to it that you find the place in your dreams. If we are meant to go with them, then so be it... It is your beautiful dreams, you, that I follow."

"Hopefully the tension will resolve itself peacefully." She smiled as she nuzzled him gently. "We were not mean for violence and those living here do not seem to enjoy it either." Hopefully that meant nothing more than a few words would happen between anyone.

"No, we aren't meant for violence..." But sometimes it was necessary and he would do anything he needed to do in order to ensure peace for his mate. "Are you ready to travel again, Umande? To lead more than just me, if that is what it takes?"

"I don't know if i am ... but i will if that is what is needed." She smiled. "I can be strong enough to do anything while you are beside me."
She had never had to lead anyone but Maniki anywhere but she could try if they needed it. She had been blessed with her visions for a reason and she could not just let them go to waste.
