The floor has been polished until it reflects like water. The walls and ceiling have been scrubbed until it gleams white. The doors to the balconies have been flung open. Music plays in the alcoves.

The "Nightmare In Blood" Ballroom is officially open.

The thing with vampires is that we don't like to get in the middle of these things.We linger on sides trying to look disinterested but really, we simply look like wall flowers....
