 UNDERGROUNDERS... The name for those heavily involved in the British gang wars of the late 1970's during the boom in new-age ideas and cults. These gang wars were reported by newspapers to have risen over new-ager concepts and ideas springing from estranged religious mysticism. Police that were on the 'undergrounder' investigations still remember when the violent outbursts were noting but marking territory with red spray paint and flowers. It had turned into an all out nightly battle - riots in London, fires in Yorkshire. There were murders and kidnappings, thefts and arson. The violent unrest got so bad, and the police force so futile, that the government had to instigate a very unconventional tactic: they created a rival gang to divert the attentetion of the unruly gangs and would then throughly beat them at their own game, while discovering the identity of highly involved parties within the gangs. Suprizingly, the tactic worked. The gang battles ended a few short years after the governmental instigation of their own 'undergrounder' gang. Leaders of the violent gangs were arrested, and the gangs themselves were broken up. The undergrounders that had been put in place for the government, however, were too. The government failed to realize the strong bond that the members had made when they were in that gang. But still, the government paid no worry. 'If anything,' they thought, 'they'll become vigilantes.' Flash to now. Rose petals are beginning to appear in the morning, scattered around public offices, government installations, and businesses. Some petals have been tagged with red spray paint, while others remain a pristine white. Reports of stolen documents from the British museum the night after the call of a kidnapping of a young boy. And there are rumours whispered in the air by the teens that hang in dark alleyways that their blind prince is coming back. WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH YUUGIOU?
...Strange reports on the news made them all uneasy about their trips.
Only Kaiba Seto, who had come to Britain a week before the strange reports had occured hadn't thought a thing of them. What would gangs want with him? It wasn't like they could with Seto's security running about the hotel he was staying at...
However, Yuugi-tachi had much more reason to be tense. Yuugi had recieved word that the British Museum, having the largest exhibit of Egyptian artifacts (apart from Egypt itself) is opening a new exhibit that had been advertised to "shock the world" Dark Yuugi, of all people seems to be most worried about what could be revealed to the public...and the gangs... if they're attacking random people, Yuugi and his friends could very well be just as easily targeted as any of the other Brits...

Basically, Seto and Mokuba have gone to Britain to 'work on plans for the opening of a "Euro KaibaLand"' and no other information is given. They are actually there to claim artifacts that have passed down their lineage from the British museum society.
Yuugi -tachi (Yuugi and friends) are there to see the opening of the British Museum's 'secret' exhibit that they are advertising will 'shock the world.' They call the information they found 'unprecedented.' There is worry that it might refer to the discovery of shadow magicks in Egyptian excavations.
The gangs are currently all NPCs until the discovery of their motives are known. once that is discovered, postions for either sides of the gangs will open and be available.
+NOTE+ This is the only way you can play an original character.

No character controlling of NPCs.
Original characters may not have any previous relations with cannon characters.
You can either PM me your application or post it right here. It doesn't really matter ^^
Sub-Rules for Romance in RP
Romance of any kind is acceptable, but you may not infringe on the rule of no character controlling.
If someone is uncomfortable with a romantic relationship, END IT. Or I will, and you won't like how I decide to end it.
To keep things "real" don't say if you're interested in a said character, act it.
To avoid ackward situations, a heart will be placed by the character name if their player is acceptable with yaoi situations.

Sample post ( at least 4 sentences long): (I'mma make this me intro posty coz I got nothin' else to go with...) Ryou was excited for the trip, despite the mass media coverage of the gang and urban warfare and whatnot. Granted he had been young when he moved, but nonetheless, knowning Britain was his homeland made him feel that much safer. The others, however, were essentially traveling to a foreign country, and the violence seemed much more probably to reach them - he knew the feeling, and it was one that continued to gnaw at your insides until you were back in your own bed surrounded by your own four walls again. Even so, they had dealth with much more complicated matters than gang violence in the streets. Did they really have that much to worry about?

shooooot. I totally missed that form. *Feels bad now* I'll just fill it out now, really really sorry about that sweatdrop .

Current outfit: Hmm...I've never really thought about this before. But I think the Dugeon Dice Monsters outfit, because I liked that one and he only wore it once sad .
Sample post: Yami sat on thw bed watching his aibou pack for the trip to Europe they would be taking tomorrow. He was worried. Whatever new exhibit the museum was going to be opening, well the chance that it was something that the world simply wasn't ready for was bad enough. Not to mention the fact that it might jeopardize his existence...
But there was something else, too. Something that he couldn't quite put his finger on. Just a bad feeling that he had floating around in the back of his mind, a feeling that much more was going to happen when they were away than just the opening of a museum exhibit.
