theres another thread for this somewhere... and i HAVE spent a while scouring the guild for it, but i can't find the damn thing anywhere... anyway, point of this is; I have added the 1st page to my webcomic! (and ONLY two months late!) there is barely any form of story on that page, but when i have the next couple of pages finished (both are half done) it will make sense http://chronolegacy.talkspot.com(note, for anyone who read the original thread, with the background ideas and such, i have gotten rid of the whole "each country is it's own planet" thing, and since that page is so vague, i may make it alternate history, and set it in the past, incorperating my ideas into the past to have the same result) so, what do you guys think? like the graphic style? have i done anything completely wrong...?

*squint* I can't really read it. It's kinda small. But then again, I just woke up, so I might be missing something.
(And yes, I'm aware of the one being a thumbnail, but when I clicked it it was still rather small font.)

but your not aware of the text above that says "if the image is too small, right click and choose view image, then you can zoom"?
it's annoying i know, but i am still trying to find a workaround for the scaled down images...

Oh, hey, that's actually pretty nice. I've seen a lot of mega-popular webcomics (ones that turned into day-jobs for the creators) that started off in pretty dismal shape, but this looks good. It looks like you've got an excellent grasp of perspective and proportions, which gives it a lot of depth and feel. If you don't mind me hotlinking, when you right-click, view-image, it takes you to THIS page. I didn't even notice the note saying to do so, I just instinctively tried view-image. xp An easy way to get around their image shrinking would be to just make your own thumbnail image, and make that image a link to the full sized image. Better yet, with a little extra work, you can make each image have its own page, and have the full-sized image displayed with the same sort of site theme as the main pages, and have little buttons (images) linking to the previous and next comics.

if i were using NetObjects like on my old website, then that would be the ideal solution, only problem is, my NetObjects subscription ran out, and talkspot only allows 3 other webpages besides the homepage without paying £50 a year (which is an insane price!) so i stuck the essentials in and have been finding work-arounds for everything else

I've only ever used Tripod myself, and Tripod doesn't limit the number of webpages (or at least, I never noticed a limit besides a filesize/upload limit). Good luck, finding a work around, though! Looking forward to the next comic (however long it takes, hehe)!

Ah, I see now.
Hm... your perspective is better than mine. I believe it may have to do with you actually using a ruler? (I should really do that more often.)

yeah, it helps to have the basics (soft, hard and medium pencils, eraser, sharpener, and ruler) which is all i use to sketch.
@- Xeigrich: i have dabbled with tripod before, and i much prefer Talkspot to be honest. plus tripod has a similar infamousy to Geocities... as both give very unprofessional results, and geocities is, to be honest, merde. ('scuse my french... literally)
