The Goode Family, by the creator of King of the Hill. I don't particularly like King of the Hill, but I saw the pilot of the Goode Family tonight and it looks good.

It's a satire of extreme liberals, complete with adopted African son named Ubuntu xd . Unfortunately, he turned out to be from South Africa. So he's white.

...Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled for making fun of liberalism.

I couldn't see the show on abc.com or on Hulu - not sure what is wrong as I disabled AdBlock and installed whatever they wanted me to - but I saw the trailer and it looks all right.

I can't believe libs are so sensitive that they might cancel it...if they can't take a little joshing after dumping loads of crap and hate on conservatives, they need to wake up.

When they do it it's comedy and we need to get a sense of humor. When we do it we're spewing hate.

I clicked on it - I believe that format is for limited time use. It dies after 54 min. or something like that.

Anyway, very funny, very gentle, I must say, it was worse in its Christian bashing (abstinence = incest in their eyes? Morons.) than in its lib bashing. Efforts were made to keep up sympathy for the mom with the snarky rich ladies at the quasi Whole Foods Mkt and such.
Yep, it could have been so much worse...I expect it will get protested anyway.

I thought the market thing was another jab at liberalism--organic food is expensive. If you aren't wealthy you can't always afford to be a card carrying liberal.

....That family actually reminds me of someone I used to know. : /

Seen adverts for it on the channel.
Knowing some programs on CC, this will probably fare better on it.
