His eyes gazed into the water. Staring back at his own reflection, smiling at the charming Helix looking back at him. Veneur was surly full of himself. Sitting up he shook out his pelt softly, causing a soft but handsome fluff about him. "Perfect." He purred as if a feline eying him self once more. Upon standing he stood tall, as if this Gemma was an alpha. New to the lands he really did not know his way about, but his nose would not full him. Females where about, and even worse, males who where planing on taking them from him.

Life was rather comfortable.
Far more comfortable than it had ever been when he had lived in the northern reaches, struggling for survival. He was content, here with the pack that he had joined. Prey was plentiful and the winters, while cold, were never quite as hostile as the chilly north.
His stomach was full and his bones no longer threatened to show through his dense, dark pelt. His eyes sparked with a happiness he had not felt before and those he had once known before he came to the neutral areas would never of recognized him. He was filling out nicely and took his duties as Gamma quite seriously, which would explain what he was doing now. Scouting the area and surveying the borders on the off chance that anything was out of place.
And he certainly found something out of place.
"You, there!" He called out, though his tone lacked the authority that the tone of a alpha or beta would of contained. Still, he sounded forceful enough, calling back on his aggressive, northern roots.

His ears rose atop his head, looking for the source of the voice that he herd. Only to find another male such as him-self. "I?" He questioned tilting his head rather softly. "What do you want from me Gemma? I be just a loner." He stated, head still high, a c**k tone to his voice.
The red male had a nack for finding trouble, and it often did not result to well for him.
