 Ekundu was strolling through the field and had stopped by the river to get a drink. It was dark and so she had to look really hard to see if anyone was here, making sure she wasn't crossing into a prides' territory. It wasn't hard, seeing as she was hardly known throughout the lands. She lappad up some water from the watering hole. The cold rush, swimming through her whole body. It felt very good.

 Insomnia had kicked in once again for the male, sending him wandering, dead tired, through the Rougelands. With a loud, long yawn, Vestip shook his head, red mane rustling as his two toned eyes blinked blearily. the good thing about his insomnia is he was tired; the bad thing is, he was to tired to sleep. Gods, why can't I sleep anymore? he thought to himself, eyes rolling slightly.
Slowly, he came to the watering hole. Bending his head, Vestip stared at his reflection for a long time and then sighed softly. "Haah... I'm a mess.." And then he caught another reflection across the way. Blinking, he peered closer. Female... and the winds weren't right to confirm. Damn! "Stay there, friend, I want to talk!" He called out, white, black, and red form moving to circle around for her.

Ekundu didn't have anything else to do at the watering hole and so she slurped her last sip and then shook her head. Her head turned as she looked to the side of her. A lion with a red amne was coming. Firekin pride?! Oh no. If it was she should leave.

He blinked when she seemed frightened and then arched a brow. Oh, right. His colors. He was perfect coloration for Firekin, wasn't he? "No no! I'm not of the Fire pride..." he said as he came closer. This female was stunning! She looked like something he'd only heard about and hadn't seen yet. Sitting down on his haunches, Vestip flashed her a smile with his pearly whites showing.
"Calm down, pretty one! I'm Vestip. Just a rouge who can't sleep tonight."

Her eyes shifted left to right, "How can I be so sure?! I mean, YOu look like Firekin!" She snarled, stepping backwards from the lion, towards the water. She was so scared.
She blinked as her foot gave way underneath her, making her plumet into the river, going under. OH NO! She htough to herself. She splashed around to get her head above water for air.

He watched her, wanting to warn her about the water just behind her and then sighed when she fell in. Did he really look that much like a Firekin? Did he act like one? No. So why did everyone judge off his looks? Honestly, Vestip felt no pity for her when she fell in, and he certainly wasn't about to jump in after her with the way she was acting.
"I'm not Firekin," he said when she resurfaced. He moved into the water to see if she was alright. Despite how much he didn't want to help her, his instincts got the better of him every single time.
