Satine was crouched in a tree stalking a bird, her hair tied back so she could see the bird with out losing it. She placed one hand in front of the other and smirked. Each step bringing her closer to her pray. She smirked as she watched the sleeping bird and took another step. She was almost upon it when its mate came screaming back, flying at Satine's head. She growled and swatted at them, her nails just missing them as she tried to grab them. "Stupid birds! I just want to eat you!" she snarled as she tried to get another one. But the first flew at the side of her head and she rolled to the side to avoid it but lost her balance on the branch and fell from the tree. With a twist she flipped over and landed on her feet with a huff. She glared up at the tree as the bird screamed at her and settled in their nest again. She crossed her arms and looked around, hoping there weren't too many other cats in the area who had seen that.

Satine was so startled by the tiny voice behind her that she pulled both of her katana's out and spun around, expecting someone from a rival territory to be behind her, attacking for some reason when everything had seemed very peaceful here. She looked down and saw the little kitten and quickly put her swords away and smiled at the little female. "I'm really sorry about that. Just kinda mad at the birds. I was talking to them just cause i was mad at them. Makes me feel better to yell at them, even though i know they don't understand me." she said with a smile. She looked down at the little kitten. "Are you hungry?" she asked as she looked around for something she could get for both of them. "Oh and my name is Satine, whats yours?" she asked with a smile.

Satine smiled. "Well your young, you don't have to be good yet. Not many are. So don't feel bad. You look familiar, who are your parents?" she asked with a raised brow as she smiled at the female and turned, seeing a small pond over on the other side of the clearing that she could search for fish in. "And i was mad at them cause i was trying to catch one and eat it when the other one came and attacked my head." she said as she checked her hair, making sure that it was still ok, and she pulled out a feather. "In the mood for fish?" she asked as she walked over to the little lake and looked in, seeing a few fish.

Satine smiled at the little kits parents. "Why yes i know them! Their very nice. Your very lucky to know your parents. I barely had my eyes open when i was taken from my mother and father and put in a pet store. So i never knew them." She said as she smiled at the little kit. "And it wasn't nice of the bird at all, though i cant blame it but it still was a very nice and yummy looking bird! I wanted to eat it...but Fish is easier to catch." She said as she took off her swords and sat on the side of the lake. "Here i'll teach you how to catch a fish with out getting very wet." she said. She didn't mind getting in the water but she didn't feel like taking her clothes off right now. She put her tail in the water and twitched it a little at the tip. After a few moments a fish latched on and Satine pulled her tail up, grabbed the fish and bit it, killing the fish. "You try to catch one and i'll help you kill it if its too big. And if you want you can sit in my lap so it doesn't pull you into the water." she said with a smile.

Satine smiled happily, at least this cute little girl had made it home. Satine held onto her gently as she sat in her lap. She watched her dip her tail in and pull out a fish. Thankfully it was a very small fish and Nyx was able to catch it and kill it fine by herself. "Very good Nyx! What a great first catch!" She said as she hugged the little kit. "Do you want more or is that enough for you?" she asked with a smile. This little kit was very brave and caught on to things very fast.

Satine smiled and pat the little kit on top of her head. "It was a very good catch Nyx! Now you can brag to your siblings and parents." She said with a smile as she picked up her own fish and smiled. "I'm sure your appetite will get bigger when you do. Some times i'm not full till i eat three fish this big." she said as she took a big bite of her fish and smiled, her tail swishing in a pleased manner happy to have some yummy fish.

Satine smile, glad to know that she had taught a little kitten how to hunt fish. She felt very happy and couldn't wait to hear what her parents thought about this. She pat the little kit again and smiled "Well i cant wait to hear what your siblings have to say about this. Their going to be so jealous!" she said with a laugh as she finished her fish and listened to the kit. "I think you'll get big enough soon to eat alot of fish. If you develop an appetite for it at least. You could be a giant tall 4 foot cat and have the appetite of a kitten and only want two fish a day so maybe you'll get big and that wont." she said with a smile.

Satine smiled. "I'm glad i was able to teach you something that your sibling don't know then, since your smaller. It will help you." she said with a smile as she finished her own fish and scratched the kitten around the neck. "Is there something you want to do since you wont be very big it sounds like?" Are you going to be a sly fighter or something? Or are you not going to be a fighter?" she asked the kitten with a smile. Satine liked kits, and couldn't wait till she could have her own.
