Waiting is half the fun but it's when you get the shipping notice that the insane impatient kicks in. That's when you kick at the postal service xD

Its okay, honey! Breathe! She will be there soon enough. Waiting makes the part where you get to open them and hug them for the first time all the more enjoyable! heart 3nodding

Most of the wait I think up their names, background stories, order their clothes wigs ect... Which in turn leads to more waiting... It's a vicious cycle lol. But the wait is well worth it ^^

Surviving the wait can be pretty fun actually. You can take the time to get wigs, clothes, eyes, etc and have them ready before the arrival! Though when you have to wait months (like for SOOM MDs ''>> ) it can be pretty tough. But, like Pureblood Snake, the shipping notice will make you super impatient! I've declared war against the postal service many times when things are delayed a bit ^^;;; but you'll get through it! :3

The fun part is waiting! Give her a name, make up a story for her, set up a special place for her in your room! Distract your self and she'll be here before you know it.

I was counting the days and sleeping. I got My doll (Pullip: Lilac) the 23rd of December. Me and my mom thought she would come January. She came early! I could hardly believe it! If you have work then that helps. If you have school that helps. I can not think of another way ^^

I'm almost at the end of a three month wait for my Felix Brownie and it's been really hard. I do a lot of the things already mentioned like thinking about backstories and names.
I also try to have at least one new outfit and wig for every doll - normally I buy a piece at a time. While shipping is much more expensive that way it's nice to get something in the mail regularly - in my case I order something each pay during the wait time, so once every two weeks I might have a pair of shoes, a top, pants or some accessory arriving. It doesn't have to be big expensive items either - I'll usually scan the forums I'm on or e-bay to see if there is something on sale - so it could be a pair of shoes for $3-
I also set up a box/bag for the items that I've purchased or made during the waiting period to go in, so it's almost like the new arrival gets a big present the day they come home.

I'm waiting for my doll, and I plan on trying to make extra money for cloth to make clothes and a wig. I'll probably clean my room, along with sevral other things like the bathroom and my desk. XD I also plan on researching and buying face up supplies. Other than that, I keep a picture of my doll with me at all times.
