A fancy-yet casual restaurant has a large dining area with several sized booths, tables, and chairs, with a small chandelier hanging just above every table. It's fancy enough for the classiest couple, but casual enough for family dining. The menu has several pages, featuring fine Italian, Spanish, Asian, French, and American cuisine, and only the best of drinks, be it a fountain soda, a glass of imported wine, or a bottle of warm sake. Hanging high on the wall of the main entrance is a large painting of a very done up woman in diamonds and pearls, and beneath it are rows of awards from the city, state, and country.
The waiters are great, so you better tip!

Riley blushed but smiled as he pulled the door open, stepping aside to let Arashi in. I don't know what they have here, but it can't be all that bad, can it? he said softly as he entered after her. He paused to look at the grand painting in the lobby, rather amazed with it's detailing. He took note of the awards, but due to the fact that he was slightly far from them, he wasn't sure what they were for, and just assumed they'd be for the fine dining. Wow...he managed to mutter as he looked to his date.

Arashi giggled softly, clinging to Riley. I bet the food is yummy, just look at those awards and plaques and stuff! she saw, also in awe at the painting and rows of awards. So, let's get some grub! she pleaded, clinging to his arm tighter.

Riley nodded to Arashi and took her hand, prying her from his arm as he laughed softly. A lanky male waiter aproached them, offering them menus as he seated them near a window. Wow...he muttered again as he looked towards the menu. This place must have a dozen and a half chefs. The phrase didn't seem odd until he said it, at which time he looked to Arashi to await her amusement before showing his own.

Arashi giggled a bit as she heard the words, shaking her head. You're so silly... she looked at the menu and drooled a bit. Mmm, soba served with grilled vegetables and a zesty curry sauce on the side... she shivered a bit, giggling softly.

Riley let out a laugh and shook his head, watching Arashi as she shivered. Did the soba make you shiver, or are you cold? he teased, knowing he himself was rather chilly.

Arashi paused, then giggled. Both! she chimed, turning the page in her menu as her eyes widened. Oooh, eggplant parmasean! she cooed, her mouth watering even more. Oi, I'm hungry...

Then pick something or something and lets order! Riley mused, smiling brightly to Arashi. I think I'm going to have lots of little things...he told her, flipping back to the appetizer menus. Or maybe something from...he started, cutting himself off to think a moment. Oh! I know! I'll get ebi...and miso...and mozzarella sticks...and then the shrimp scampi...he said, grinning some as he looked up to Arashi.

Arashi giggled softly, covering her mouth with a hand as she looked from Riley back to the menu. Anou... I think I'm going to get the soba with grilled veggies and garlic twists with hot marinara and perhaps also some shrimp scampi with a vanilla coke, she giggled, noting that the waiter had already scribbled her order.

Riley smiled widely as he looked to the waiter and repeated what he wanted, asking also for a vanilla coke. Hopefully we can stomach everything...because I don't feel generous enough to give it to someone at home! he laughed, shaking his head as he shifted to put his hands in his lap under the table, feeling slighlty out of place because of his ears.

Arashi grinned widely, feeling the insecurities that were eminating from Riley. She leaned forward and tugged gently on one of his ears. They turn me on, y'know, she giggled softly, shaking her head. I adore you, all of you, pointy eared or not, she said, matter-of-factly.

Riley blushed and smiled, letting his head fall a moment before he looked back to Arashi. I'm glad...he said softly, glancing to the waiter as he brought their drinks along with the cheesesticks and breadtwists. Really glad...he said as the waiter hurried back to the kitchen. I'd feel like a dorkass if you didn't like me because of my ears! he joked, shaking his head as he moved to take Arashi's hand and kiss it before offering it back to her.

Arashi giggled, shaking her head in attempt to change the subject as she dipped a hot breadtwist. Wow, quick service, she commented, smiling widely to her date as she bit into it, whimpering softly. Homigod, this is amazing... she mumbled.

Riley nodded in agreement with the service comment, then slighlty melted in his seat. I want to marry these...he muttered, pulling the basket of cheesesticks closer to himself, laughing to himself.
