Character name: James Masters (Nickname: Jay)

Age: 18

Bio: James comes from a very rich family, his father runs a multi-million dollar accounting firm and his mother is a high powered lawyer. He has always been exceptional in school, the top of his class in fact, and his parents push him constantly to do better though they almost never spend anytime with. Before picking out a university to further his education is computer science James was granted one week off to travel on a short crews for New Years.


James is incredibly smart, but he lacks confidence and is easily intimidated. He has very little "real world" experience and is uneasy in most social situations, unless he can talk about computers. Nervous around girls and not particularly athletic James has been picked on by bullies his whole life but rarely stands up for himself.

Appearance: James is fairly tall at 6 feet, and while he is not terrible muscular he is by no means gangly or emaciated. His dirty blond hair is almost always a mess but he keeps it short and clean. He tends to dress in very expensive clothing, for this night a very pricey blue suit and a silk tie as well as fancy black shoes.



Additional Info: James is considered a computer genius and has a broad understanding of computer systems, engineering and a number of other scientific fields. A bit of an otaku and more than a bit of a nerd James loves video games (mostly ones he can play by himself) as well as browsing around the internet.

bio: Melanie was hit a few times when she was dating her ex, which gave her her shy personality, she stopped talking as much as she used to. She had lived with her parents but she ran away unexpectedly which led her on this cruise.

Beren Silverfang sat in the main area where the music was being played and watched every one. He paid the most attention to the people danceing. Every once in a while he would scrible something down and then go back to watching every one. He was dressed very casually and wore a smirk of amusment on his face.

James straightened his blue silk tie as he looked in the mirror of his rather nicely furnished room, noting that most people would most likely not have such fine accomdations on a ship. He took a deep breath and looked himself over, he thought he cut quite a nice figure in his pricey blue suit and white dress shirt, and if he was lucky he wouldn't meet any of the bullies from his high school here at the party. Running a hand through his hair he checked himself over once more, his heart already beating faster as he let his nervousness rise up again. He spoke to his reflection as he often did before going out anywhere in public, "Come on Jay, you can do this. I doubt anyone here even knows you, and there's gonna be girls. Just be cool and don't make a total idiot of yourself."

Giving himself a slap on the cheek to snap him out of his nervousness he took another deep breath and walked out the door into the hallway. He could already hear the music and simply followed it along the fairly narrow hallway, looking around at the design of the ship and wondering in the back of his mind about the men and women who had designed and built it, when he bumped into another young man who looked to be about his age with dark hair. Falling over his own feet James landed on his backside on the floor, his head banging into the wall with a loud "thud!". He blinks and looked up, adjusting his glasses to rest back on his nose as he apologized quickly, "Oh, I'm sorry, I should have been paying more attention, these halls are just so darn narrow. Are you okay, did I hurt you at all?" James pulled himself up slowly, his head was dizzy but otherwise he felt fine.

(OOC: That was Rider that James just ran into, I hope I didn't ruin/interrupt any rp going on with him. If so just brush him off and move on)

Rider was nocked into by someone who fell over after wards. Rider grabbed the blokes arm and pulled him up. "Hey, the parties just started. you can't already be drunk." He said with a grin and walked slowly down into the main hall. He couldn't find the person he was looking for and so he sat alone in the corner.
