Hikari sat back in the marketplace checking out the early morning shops that were creaking open, their owners still yawning and drinking their coffees and teas. She had slept the mass majority of the day before due to a small rain storm that had gone through and she was wide awake. Considering what to steal for breakfast she looked around.
Since ridding herself of her collar she felt as though she had so much more freedom to do with herself as she pleased. But still, she had found herself a home in the Gokiinu warehouse with Amaranth and Siam, but all the same something was missing. She found she loved messing with men, but it was only a short-lived thrill. It was there and then it was gone, but it hadn't stopped it from still being good fun.
Hikari gave a large stretching and settling herself on the edge of the fountain in the middle of the plaza. "I bet today is going to be boring..." she sighed to herself.

A loud bang sounded in the marketplace as Aidan darted under the fish manglers wife's skirts. In his mouth he held the prize salmon. She chased after him with a broom, shouting words that didn't make any since in a sentence at him. He quickly made his way to the fountain and passed by Hikari with a wink and a smile. The fat old woman gave up the chase sweating and doubling over, Aidan turned into the alleyway close by and eyed his prize. Hey, a guy has to eat.
The day had started out with a bang, just as he liked it. Though lately he hadn't been flirting as much, a small amount here and there... what was with the girls here? Were they all as irreprochable as val? Then his mind fell to Hikari ... she was quite approchable, but he hated flirting one person for a day, and it seemed to him thats what she wanted.

Hikari jumped when she heard the bang and saw Aidan dash out from the fish mongers stall, blinking as Aidain shot passed her winking and smiling. She gave a slight smile back and watch the woman give up her chase and go back to the stall in a bad mood.
Well maybe she had been wrong, today just might be an interesting one after all. She hadn't seen where Aidan had disappeared to in his mad dash for safety with his fish. Hikari stood up, fixing her skirt a bit and took off in the direction she had seen Aidan, spotting the candy shop opening up skipping over to sneak off with a few Konyaki while the owners back was turned.
"I wonder if Aidan's ever had any of these before..." Hikari pondered out loud to herself. She looked down at the containers of flavored jellos. I love these things, too bad that's the only stall that sells them in all of Ikebokuro. the female sighed to herself looking around for Aidan.

Aidan was half way done with his fish when he saw Hikari at the candy shop. That was one place Aidan had yet to torment. Gathering up his fish and stashing it behind a cardboard box he walked twoards the humans. A little boy pulled at his tail, and the older woman in the candy uniform came to pet him. Aidan always was a good distraction.
He smirked and winked at Hikari once more before faking a purr and pretending to enjoy the company. Yes she had plenty of time.

Hikari snuck with with candy and set the candy away where no one would find it and peaked back around to see if she could help in getting Adian away from the people. The thought of being touched made her shiver in disgust, all the cleaning that always was needed after being touched.
The little manx's ears were perked forward, bright green eyes alert and watching for the smallest glimpse of Aidan. She really had to repay him now for making sure she wasn't caught. When she didn't see Aidan come right out she slunk toward the stall mewling out to distract attention away from Aidan, once he was away she'd dash off herself.

Aidan growled and struck the boys hand, unleashing his claws. That was enough to get away from those pesky humans. He grinned as he reached the smaller female.
"Hey, seems like today wont be boring in the least." he said grinning widely and cleaning himself. Humans were a pain, but it was not hard to get away from them, a swat here, and bite there and they would leave you be. Until at least they forgot, humans are such fickle minded beings.

Hikari followed after Aidan, "Yeah no kidding. I thought today was gonna be a total drag." she sighed retrieving her sweets and holding one out to Aidan. "I grabbed it for you. I dunno if you've ever had these before, but they are really good." the manx grinned.
She hadn't really started out today in her usually flirty way, she had to let that kick in a little bit before she tried warming up to Aidan a bit more. Though offering sweets to him wasn't such a bad idea.
"That was an awesome catch earlier with that fish. That old bat didn't have a chance of catching you at all." she laughed.

Aidan took what she offered puzzling over it. "what is it?"
He laughed along with her, that old hag truely had no chance. Then again when she saw him again he had to beware her broom. Aidan grined to himself, perhaps he had something to teach the younger female after all.... to be cunning. The thought filled his mind, and before he dismissed it he couldnt help but think of what he was doing with Marshall, poor boy... but he needed to accept himself, dirt and all.

Hikari laughed. "Konyaku. It's like a flavored jello but better. They come in these containers and you just eat them right out of it. They're really hard to get a hold of though." she said continuing to hold out the sweet.
This was a bit more like it, Aidan always looked to comfortable in any situation and she has something he'd never heard of before. If she'd had a tail it probably would have been flickering around with excitement and a bit of laughter as Aidan's confusion. But since she lacked a tail her stub of a tail wriggled a bit back and forth. Today wasn't going to be so bad after all.

Aidan felt awkward. He was used to teasing the more subtle girls like mir, or the boys like Marshall... he could figure out their mindset, but Hikari confused him, she was new waters. He took the weird looking candy from her and opened it, trying to take out the wobbly thing... his hands were just to big. Aidan bit his tongue and tried to keep his temper... stupid thing. and the girl seemed to be enjoying this. He started grumbling to himself and handed the candy back to her.

Hikari laughed at how flustered Aidan was getting. She set the candy down. "You eat it like this silly." she said lifting up the little plastic container and squeezing the candy which easily plopped into her mouth. "It's simple." she muttered after swallowing down the sweet jelly.
She picked up the candy and held it back out to Aidan. "Wanna give it another try?" she asked pushing it at him. Oh would she tease him if he didn't try again.

Aidan glared at her and took the "thing" into his hands. Getting quite flustered he mimicked her and managed to get it in his mouth.... unfortunately he did not realize how sweet it was until he was choking on it. He spit it out, hoping to avoid Hikari and commenced coughing. Damn candy, he had never liked candy. Aidans gaze fell away from her and tried to find something else to preoccupy his mind; with no avail. He laughed at his own stupidity and turned back to her, arrogant mask back in place.
"how could you like something so disgusting?"

Hikari blinked at Aidan laying back her ears a little. She hadn't known he didn't like candy and she didn't expect him to CHOKE on the darn thing. "Sorry, I didn't think you wouldn't like them.." she muttered with a sigh. She'd tried and apparently failed. So much for that attempt to get his attention.
"I like them, the flavors are stronger than most candies. The sweetness can be a little overwhelming at times, but that's why you don't eat a lot of them at once." she shrugged feeling a bit put down. She had to redeem herself in some way, but it was totally beyond her at the moment on how exactly to do that.

Aidan smiled to himself. There, now he was on top again. He sat back against the wall closing his eyes and putting his hand behind his head. The ring on his neck bounced up and down with his breaths, and the leather creaked with his small movements, but other then that he seemed to be completely at peace.
Opening one eye at Hikari he asked her quietly;
"well whats your next move?"

Hikari huffed a bit at his poking a finger into his chest. "Oh Mr. Hot-shot you are huh?" she flicked her hand back and set it on her hip cocking it out to the side. Her green eyes flared from underneath her bangs looking right at Aidan with a grin.
"I have to say, you talk big, but can you really back it up?" she asked looking him over. Yeah, he talked big and he walked big, but did he really have the guts behind it all. That's what she really wanted to know. He'd caught her attention and she wasn't going to leave him alone until she totally figured him out.
She leaned over a bit, her low cute shirt not doing her much justice, but of course her entire outfit screamed that she wanted to show skin and a lot of it.
