Alright, I wanna know how long it takes everyone to draw Portrait, Waist up, or Full Body images. It would be nice if you could post an image for an example of how detailed your work is, and then say how long it took you roughly.

I never actually measured the amount of hours entirely, but the current work I'm doing has gone over into it's 4th day today. Mind you I take a lot of breaks and stretch sessions.
I wonder if it's just the amount of detail I do or if I am just slow.. sweatdrop

It's finally taking me less time after having worked out a few better techniques re: shading. XD 3-4 hours totalRoughly 3-4 hours7-9 hours9-10 hoursThe nice thing is that I can generally finish a piece in a day now, no matter what kind, and I can usually finish about three bust pieces a day easily.

I'd say, for a fullbody CG, it would take about 1-2 days.
U___U; It also depends on my attention span, insomnia, stress, flare ups, and what's going on with my son. But altogether the hours put in would probably add up to about a day or so.

For a fullbody traditional it can take from 1-4 hours, including inking and painting. But CG takes a bit longer, so maybe 10 hours maximum, excluding a background.
I hate backgrounds... ;;

4 hours cgit's a couple pic and no real fullbody. A3 size. I never spent longer than 6 hours for something traditional. 6 hours watercolors(it's no portrait or fullbody though) 6 hours pencil cross-hatchingBoth A2 size. I'm not patient enough to work more than 6 hours on one piece.. As for cg... I think I never needed more than 7 hours for a fullbody without bg. I need an afternoon to do that actually.

It takes me about a day, sometimes two, of work (with breaks between) to actually finish a full piece but I procrastinate soooo much that I've left someone waiting even about half a year for their art, others, a month or more... I'm really horrible with that... I feel really bad about it xD
CGs take a lot out of me... that's why I like sketches, they take about an hour, tops, and I dont have to worry about stupid blurry details and difficult parts that the lineart process brings into clear view xD

[ » . . . (. '-')./* ]...I clicked 8-12 hours on the poll, then realized there were options for weeks. 8'DD I usually take around 8-12 hours total to draw a fullbody, but it's usually spread out over 2-3 weeks. :C
I list the amount of time it takes me to draw most of my works in my artwork comments in my galleries. ;3

A full body sketch/drawin I can do in about an hour. When it comes to FULL CG, I really never pay attention, I just know it takes FOREVER because I'm very SLOW. >_>!!

It's okay I'm slow too. D: I take way too many breaks.
But there's a positive to it, I get to open up the image with a fresh mind and be like AH I SEE A PROBLEM where I never saw it before!
