Ky Die Verrater

PostPosted: Wed May 27, 2009 5:35 am

A vast, semi-barren field located in an undisclosed location outside of Karakura, perfect for secret meetings. A lone man in expensive-looking French attire and wearing a strange-looking hat which covered his white hair stood in the middle of the barren landscape, arms crossed and head bobbed down while he waited for someone to arrive. This man's name is Ky Die Verrater and he was waiting for someone. Someone important. He didn't expect her to accept his offer that easily, but even so, Ky hoped that she would come. For the sake of the Organization, he hoped.

[Enters from North Pillar]

Tagg walked up to him, slowly.

"Let me get this straight. You want the Kyo's to be aligned with you? Or are you looking for us to join you as a branch?"

Tagg's eyebrow became raised.

Ky turned his head to face the woman who had just come into the field. What Tagg said was right on the money, he did want Kyokugaisha to be part of the Ravens Organization, but as strange at it was, there was something pulling him back. Well, he would get to that later. First thing's first though, Ky had to entertain his guest.

"Ah, Tagg. I see you've arrived. You coming here makes me feel nostalgic in the sense that this is somewhat like the time you came to me, asking me to help you become a Raven," Ky said.

Now completely turning to face Tagg, he gave the Arcane Queen a stern look. "I must ask though, what have you done ever since I gave you your new powers? From my sources, I received news that you're now Daven's new ********, am I right? Well, if Kyokugaisha's leader would rather wag her a** in front of a guy like Daven instead of training to be stronger, it's no wonder why you and your men don't get respect from the shinigami."

Ky laughed mockingly after he had said those words at Tagg, criticizing her on how she rested on her laurels, even having time to flirt around while the rest of them were preparing. In his mind, Tagg was a disgrace as a leader, not even worth the position she was in. It seemed as though she took her position lightly, but that's what they're here for.

"I see great potential in Kyokugaisha, but as you are right now, a weak leader of such an organization, that potential would never be realized and Kyokugaisha will simply crumble. However, I won't let such and opportunity to make my Organization stronger pass me by." Ky slowly unsheathed his rapier and pointed it at Tagg, the sunlight shining off the metal.

"Tagg, I shall take Kyokugaisha for myself and augment it to my Organization. Of course, this means that I will have to take your position as leader, but then again, that's the best way. If you hand over Kyokugaisha to me, you can spend all your time with Daven while I can give your men everything they could ever want. I shall train them to grow stronger, faster, better. Something I know you are not capable off, seeing that you're torn between your love life and your role as a leader. That kind of leader gives off a weak impression to her men and those around her."

After announcing his intent, Ky smiled mischievously. "However, you can choose to fight for your position. Show me why I shouldn't simply take away Kyokugaisha from you and work with your group with you as the rightful head of Kyokugaisha. I don't accept weakness, Tagg, especially since you carry our Mark on your forehead. Then again, there's no possible way a weak, love-struck b***h like you can hope to beat me. Hell, you can't even show a strong face in front of your men and those around you. Arcane Queen? Former Gotei 13 Captain? Kyokugaisha's leader? Bullshit. All I see now is a weak, little girl who simply gives orders whenever the hell she feels like it, like a spoiled brat, while her "servants" do all the work for her. Here's a tip, Tagg, walk away. Just give me control over Kyokugaisha and walk away."

Ky dug his feet into the dirt and focused more on Tagg to see if there were any sudden movements that would hint to an attack. Of course, all of the things he said were meant to taunt her into battle just so he could know how serious was the Arcane Queen in leading her little group. An organization needs a good leader in order to become successful in the future. If the leader is weak, the organization will fail and those who joined it would only find regret and disappointment. If Ky didn't see what he needed to see from the Arcane Queen in this little battle, he would seriously consider taking over Kyokugaisha himself. As he said before, he didn't accept weakness. This battle, although seemingly like a challenge to a duel, was really meant to teach Tagg a lesson and that she should take her role as leader more seriously, but as always, Ky preferred the "lesson" to be hidden in such a way that Tagg would realize it in the heat of battle. That's the way Ky worked.

"Whatever you choose from here on out will be up to you, Arcane Queen. Just remember, your choices, as leader, not only affect you, but those around you as well."

As the man ranted Tagg's appearance and eyes did not falter to his words or actions. His words did not phase her, she had been called those names since she was young. His egotistic attitude did nothing. She knew of Ky and how he worked.

"Inside you are a dead man Ky. You have forgotten passion, and love. It has left you. Those are key components in any relationship. Master to student, friend to friend, or lover to lover. If anyone thinks that such a thing can make you weak, then I have been mistaken about you."

The rapier in her face did nothing. Her Arcane did not even falter, for it knew her true actions and intentions.

"I would never hand over the Kyo's to a man of your caliber. I would die for them, they are my nakama. I would die for that. You insults show your truth Ky. You say to do what is best for me and my nakama, and joining you is the best for them. If you need to face me to decide such a ideal then so be it."

Tagg placed her palm on the hilt of her zanpakuto.

"You make the first move Ky, I will defeat you. Not matter what. My last goal in life has not been achieved. And I will never leave my nakama. "

Tagg shunpod backwards and waited.

Ky smirked. "An expected response from the Arcane Queen herself," murmured Ky to himself and watched her figure shunpo back and rest her hand upon her katana. It wasn't like Ky didn't know how to care about others, it's just that Ky "cares" for them in a completely different manner compared to the usual actions people pertain to as "caring". The fact that he was presenting himself as a villain so that Tagg would get serious on him was a result of this unorthodox type of "caring". He didn't mind what other people thought of him, but so long as they learn a lesson in the end, they could think of Ky whatever they want him to be. A monster. A devil. A saint. A teacher. It didn't matter. Everyone had their own way of perceiving people. For now, Ky would play along as the "man who can't express love".

"Hah!" shouted Ky. "How noble of you, Tagg. Are you really serious when you said that you would die for the men under your command? Well, unfortunately for you, I don't believe it. It's simple lip-service. Caring? Love? For what? For expendable resources? Caring about your peons would be the same as caring about your food before you eat it. In the end, they would be replaced after serving their roles."

Ky held onto his rapier's hilt tightly and began to let out his reiatsu, steadily rising along with the devious smile on his face. He was getting excited. "Well then, Tagg, it looks like our beliefs are contradicting...," Ky trailed on, pulling his hand back a little to prepare for a strike. "Show me then, fight for what you believe in. Show me what a leader who allows herself to be governed by love and caring can do!"

With a quick step forward, Ky launched himself from the ground towards Tagg at near-shunpo speed with the use of his powerful legs. Twisting his body, Ky angled himself in such a way that he would land near where Tagg stood. Extending his left hand to the ground, he used it to lessen the momentum his body had gained, and thanks to his gloves, enhanced through alchemy, his left hand didn't even get as much as a flesh wound.

Stabbing his rapier into the ground, the rapier's blade shone with alchemical power. In a flash, the ground around Tagg sprang up and covered her line of sight, walling Tagg in. Tagg now had no clue as to what was happening around her which also meant that she also had no clue as to what Ky was up to. Suddenly, a part of the wall around Tagg lowered itself back to the ground, but this was only meant to force her attention on that one spot, giving Ky the opening he needed, for Ky was now directly above her, rapier in hand, and was now descending at Tagg with the intention of cutting her down with one, powerful slash.

[Not to be picky but I don't think Tagg would ever let anyone get that close to her. Especially if she was already shunpod away from him. I believe if he raised his weapon down right in front of Tagg she would have struck him down a not waited until she became trapped. That was a bit of auto hun. I will work with it though.]

All Tagg was able to respond with to Ky's speech was;

"Hm."

Then as the Raven master lunged forward and pierced his elegant rapier into the very ground right in front of Tagg she watched him. Then the barriers raised around her and she was focused on the area that opened up. Tagg quickly filled up the area with Arcane and made it explode skyward and out the opening. As it flew with extreme speed in both directions Tagg snuck out the blast shooting forth from the side and lunged her body through her own Arcane. Once out in the open she aimed for the pillar attacking her skyward opponent.

"Break, now!"

The pillar/blast broke off into eight different appendages of the original blast and passed their opponent. Then they all focused and came down on him form various angles. The differentiation of the angles allowed very little room to be used for escape. Tagg grasped the back of her katana and held it forward. Pointing it towards Ky.

"Ky..."

((I do apologize. It's just that I thought that Ky, being the Bount leader, would be somewhat accepted as an opponent of Captain-class caliber by now, but with respect to your wishes, I shall tone it down, my dear. It shan't happen again.))

"Excellent," murmured Ky, touching the blade of his rapier. In the instance his fingers touched its steel, it shone with alchemical energy once more, morphing the steel into a metallic ball which spun around Ky, encasing him inside a hardy, metallic sphere. As the debris from the pillar flew at him with great speed, they were simply deflected by the sphere's incredibly hard and durable outer layer. It was expected though as the sword itself was made with the divine metal, orihalcum. Such a simple attack wouldn't even put a scratch on such a kind of metal famed throughout ancient lore thanks to its god-like durability, even against time itself.

With a loud crash, the metallic sphere landed on the ground, creating a miniature crater, a mere five feet in diameter. Then, right after it landed, the sphere began to spin around, faster and faster with each succeeding rotation. It was spinning so fast that it began to create a powerful gust which blew up huge amounts of dust in the surrounding area, and along with the wind force, can easily cut the visibility ratio of anyone inside such a dust storm by half.

On the last rotation, the metallic sphere morphed back into what seemed to be its regular rapier form, but this time, the blade was now elongated and unrestricted, similar to that of a whip. The whip-like blade, along with the momentum from the earlier spins, now headed straight for Tagg without a moments hesitation. It was coming at her as fast as it physically could, and in addition to the lack of visibility, would make the whip-like blade which came at her somewhat hard to spot.

[It's not that I don't think of you as my level, it's just Tagg was a decent ways away is all. I believe Ky to be Captain level myself.]

With the dust and debris in the air, Tagg made the Arcane that failed on attacking it's target, turn around and break off into it's microscopic form.
In this form the air is filled with the particles of Arcane itself. The particles of the Arcane all began to whirl around and with the speed they were going were able to bend the wind to their desire and take the dust with it, the Arcane twisted and turned to form a tunnel in mid air in which all the dust was trapped and flying around in, and the tunnel placed itself near the bout leader so it would encase him in the same eye blinding effect it was used for.

That how ever was done on it's own after Tagg commanded it so along with her sword already drawn a pointed, she had much time to see the whip coming. But with the whips, "whip" like qualities, it would be hard to maneuver around.

"Geheim Schutz."

[Description: Arcane appears where ever it is needed to protect Tagg. It reacts at top notch speed to protect and consume anything that attempts to attack the user.]

The Arcane blocked around to were the whip would have hit. It wrapped itself around the whip and encased the Bount's weapon in Arcane. Tagg raised her blade above the whip and spoke.

"Pull!"

The Arcane hoisted the whip that attempted to strike Tagg and pulled the one on the other end towards Tagg. Once he would be lifted off the ground and sent flying to Tagg she would strike him down.

[That is assuming, he does not drop it, or he is not on the other end, etc. If Ky is not on the other end then Tagg just struck the whip itself.]

The dust shot to Ky when he was launching his attack was able to provide Tagg with the time to grab his own attack with her Arcane so he would not notice it and be pulled from the dust cloud.

[That was a bit of auto myself, sorry if it was too weird of a post. Let me know if ya want me to edit it.]

((I don't mind. I can work with it in the same manner as you worked with mine. Now we're even.))

Ky hissed, squinting his eyes in the midst of the powerful winds which surrounded him, thanks to the clever counter-cross, courtesy of Tagg's Arcane Mass. It even went so far as to try and disarm Ky by pulling away his rapier, but thanks to his physical strength, he was able to hold on to his weapon, though met with much resistance from her Arcane which slowly dragged him closer and closer to the Arcane Queen. Maybe that was Tagg's intention all along, but regardless, Ky resisted against her power.

From the start, Ky knew what he was getting into, but Tagg's Arcane was truly more trouble than it was worth. It was high time that Ky became serious as playing around with Tagg made him look rather weak. Besides, he was starting to feel rather insulted for he knew that, if he fought with Tagg and her Arcane at the level he was now, he would be merely wasting time. Being her superior in the Ravens Organization, it was just about time Tagg truly saw what a Raven leader was truly capable of.

"Show me what you've got, b***h..."

With his voice as soft as a whisper, the number "VII" appeared on his forehead as his reiatsu rose to astronomical levels. His once playful face now held a look of pure anger. Ky was going to fight for real this time, having met someone with such an annoying power as Xeion and his dark mirrors. In the same sense, Ky, too, expected to be challenged in the same way. Tagg was a former captain, but a higher rank didn't always mean higher skill or power. It was time to see if that notion was right or wrong as Tagg would soon prove.

"DON'T ******** WITH ME, TAGG!!!"

Ky's voice roared like an awakened dragon and pulled his extended rapier away from the Arcane's clutches by using raw power. The sheer force of his pull created a powerful gust which blew away the dust that surrounded him, revealing Ky's serious and angry profile. "It's time I fight seriously... SO DON'T YOU DARE DISAPPOINT ME!!!"

Ky punched the ground beneath him with all his might as large chunks of rock broke off and flew in all directions. Taking advantage of his heightened performance, thanks to the alchemical powers of his Raven's ARC, not to mention him being the Ravens leader, Ky swiftly caught and threw the larger debris, as big as half of a school bus, at Tagg, using them as projectiles. However, this was just a distraction to hide Ky's true purpose.

He pulled four, small vials from his pocket, filled with thousands of semi-transparent, crystalline shards which shone with multi-colored light whenever rays from the sun hit them. Popping open the vials, Ky waved his hand, releasing the crystalline fragments which scattered in the winds as Ky put the vials back into his pocket. "Diamond Dust," he murmured and the crystalline fragments all radiated with bright red light, illuminating the entire area. When the light died, Ky was surrounded by several crimson-colored spikes the length of a sword, all of which pulsating with crimson energy.

While Tagg dealt with the rocks that came at her, Ky found it much better to intimidate her a little, though he doubted that it would work that well. He wanted to enjoy this battle for it was rare for him to fight such a worthy opponent other than the ones he usually fights with.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 01, 2009 5:56 pm

((Okay. heart ))

As Tagg pulled him in more and her blade risen, she could feel him slipping, she was sure to have him but as her confidence rose she could feel her Arcane's grip begin to fade. The Raven Leaders strength was a force to be reckoned with. As he ripped his weapon back, Tagg was a bit stunned. Never truly having research done in this man. Not knowing his physical strength was a bad move on her part.

"I will show you more than you ever though possible, oh great leader."

Tagg's tone gave off a mocking tone s to reverse the taunting and get him to attack her. Tagg peered at the man and noticed his Raven mark lighting up. She had not seen a Raven's powers in action and wanted to see what she got herself into not too long ago.

"Ky my love, I would never ******** with you, but just know. I was not just the Captain of squad 3, I am an Arcane user... I am Tagg Masaru!"

As Tall puled her Arcane back to her after he regained his weapon back, she had it seep back into the ground to depend her with ease just encase. Then as the dust slowly began to clear, she could feel it. His power was rising, and it was not faltering in the slightest. As his power level rose the sheer force of it blew away the dust from the previous attack. His face shown a look of serious intent. As Ky regained his composure he launched his attacks of debris.

The debris flew towards Tagg and these insolent attempts at making her falter would not work. Keeping her arms in a defensive position she commanded her Arcane to pierce the very ground they stood on and as it fired from a dozen locations it began to make accurate attack on the rocks and pierce each one in the center of a 2 inch spike of Arcane, commanding all the debris to halt. Soon as they were stopped Tagg had additional Arcane sprout from the floor and grab each large mass of debris and begin to hurl them with brolly, thick appendages. She was able to yet again halt his attack and return fire in a very short amount of time. And with little effort, she just needed her Arcane to do the job.
Tagg watched the vials be popped and his mystery substance be ignited.

"Hm..I think it's time for my ace special. Geheim Haze!"

[Description: Tagg releases millions of microscopic Arcane particles into the air. It floats around during the course of the battle and can morph anything she desires out of thin air. It can also be used to suffocate the opponent by entering the body when they don't even know. It multiplies in them in seconds and their lungs/body explodes. This is Tagg's signature move. Her ace card that allows her nearly complete control of every battle. Only one known user has been able to counteract it without even knowing it.]

This shall halt his breathing, and most of his movements. But those fragments have me worried as well.

"And to keep you moving! Geheim Cloudburst!"

[Description: A large sphere 6 feet in diameter is tossed up into the air and hovers far above the opponent. The sphere then spins at incredible speed in place and fires off hundreds of inch thick, foot long needles all over the field. Sense it is spinning at such speed; it gains more Arcane as it fires off. So it can maintain a barrage for as long as Tagg desires.]

As the orb was tossed up into the sky, it prepared to spin gathering speed. This would make it to were his breathing would be increased and these two attacks together are a devastating combo in Tagg's arsenal. The Arance in the air was so tiny, nearly nothing could hit it. But deep down, Tagg feared the unknown. She grasped her blade with one hand and stood in an defensive stance.

Ky Die Verrater

Ky simply stared at Tagg as she used her Arcane Mass to once again counter his attack by hurling the large chunks of rock back at him with twice the force. Using his brute strength alone, Ky deflected the debris as easily as one would deflect an oncoming punch, causing little damage to Ky aside from some small bruises on his left hand which he used to deflect the debris with, thanks to his ARC. "Keh, you're really leaving yourself open, Tagg."

From his point of view, it seemed like the Arcane Queen's control over her Arcane Mass created an impenetrable defense which most of her opponents would find hard to overcome by simple strategy alone. Tagg's control over her powers was something to be noted, but at the same time, that control over her power seemed to be her weakness as well. Her over-reliance on her Arcane Mass to do everything for her, from attack to defense, gave Ky the impression that Tagg wasn't much of a fighter if one were to take away her Arcane Mass. It was as though Ky discovered one of her weaknesses, but it was still a theory though. He had yet to test it out.

When Tagg announced her next move, Ky was already prepared for it, but didn't see any hostile movement coming from Tagg aside from her shouting out, "...Geheim Haze," the supposed name of her "attack". While waiting for something to happen, Ky grew angrier and angrier, all the while remaining ignorant of the fact that millions of Arcane energy particles were already around him, even in the air he breathed in. Lucky for him, his trained body quickly sensed the difference in the air after a few breaths as Ky fell to one knee, coughing. "Sneaky b***h! She's using some kind of transparent tear gas or something!" thought Ky. He was half-right in his assumption. "Pretty good, but not good enough, Tagg!"

Raising his reiatsu even more to the point of it being already visible, the air around Ky began to kick up into a violent wind storm, disrupting the particles that were already in the air, denying them entry into Ky's respiratory system. The increased reiatsu, coupled with the alchemical power from the ARC, unknowingly neutralized the Arcane energy particles that he already inhaled through the air, overpowering them. Just to be sure it doesn't happen again though, Ky decided to hold his breath. He didn't want to take any chances, especially if the one he was fighting was the Arcane Queen herself. Ky could successfully hold his breath while maintain at full performance, thanks to his training, for a maximum of five minutes. It was plenty of time for Ky to deal out some much needed hurt onto his "student".

With two of her attacks already dealt with, the last one was like child's play for him. "How original," sighed Ky, pushing forth into a quick dash at Tagg. With a simple wave of his hand, two of the many crimson spiked went to the side where Ky was open to the needles, broke into their crystalline particle form again, and reformed as a giant, crystal shield, deflecting Ky from the wrath of the needles wherever he went. Such was the power of alchemy, especially in the hands of a trained alchemist like himself.

"Now, it's time to show you it isn't always right to depend on your Arcane Mass, you lazy wench!"

With his rapier, he pointed at Tagg as the remaining spikes rushed at her simultaneously in random attack patterns which would make it harder for Tagg to guess as to which direction the spikes were coming from. As Tagg was preoccupied with the spikes, Ky would deal with the spinning ball of Arcane in the air. It was getting annoying and Ky didn't like it when he was being annoyed.

Seeing that the needles the sphere fired were designed to rain down from the sky, Ky saw that, if he were to jump high above the field, he was safe from the barrage of needles. With a powerful jump, Ky shot high above the field and the spinning Arcane Mass, suffering only a few hits from all of the needles due to them being so many. It was an acceptable amount of damage. Placing his hand on his rapier, Ky stabbed it straight through the spinning sphere as he descended, sending powerful alchemical energy into it, causing it to overload and break into tiny reishi particles which Ky used to heal some of his wounds with, thanks to the Bount race's inherent ability to use reishi particles to heal their wounds, similar to how Quincies make their bows and arrows out of reishi particles.

"Are you ready? Here I come!"

Waving his hands while using his rapier as an elongated baton, Ky, like a skilled maestro, leading his orchestra, directed the crimson spikes as they flew around Tagg in unpredictable patterns, moving at speeds which made it blurry in both his and Tagg's point of view. Unfortunately for Tagg, Ky didn't reveal the true purpose for the crimson-colored spikes as of yet. No, he would save that surprise for later if and when the time comes. For now, the crimson spikes will serve as projectile weapons.

"At first, they dance, like flowers in the wind...," Ky dictated then extended his left hand, balling it into a fist. Immediately, some of the crimson spikes came at Tagg from different directions at such speed that Tagg wouldn't really notice them, even with her heightened reflexes.

"Then with a flash, they disappear, back into nothingness," he immediately followed and the crimson spiked, shining red with alchemical power, exploded, releasing alchemical energy in the surrounding area, disrupting the Arcane energy's solid form even if Tagg were to use it to shield herself from the attack, weakening her Arcane Mass to the point that Ky could probably sneak in one or more solid hits on her, depending on how well he orchestrated an intricate and well-planned attack such as this one.

"From every side and every angle, they can come, until..."

Ky pulled his left hand back and touched his rapier's blade. With a flick of the wrist, several crimson spiked positioned all around Tagg as all of them shone with brilliant light. This was because these crimson spikes were converting the sunlight around them and boosting its effect through alchemical resonance in such a way that each spike would fire a concentrated laser at Tagg, coming from all directions except for a single gap directly in front of Tagg, reserved for something Ky had in mind.

"I thrust my rapier, with great force!!!"

Ky stayed true to what he said, thrusting his rapier as the blade extended and shot towards Tagg with such force that when Ky thrust his rapier, it made a sonic boom. Ky put Tagg in a predicament now. Not only did she have an insanely powerful piece of razor-sharp orihalcum blade coming at her, she also had to deal with lasers that were about to fire at her from all sides. To make it much worse, the alchemical energy explosions from before made Tagg's Arcane Mass somewhat awry and difficult to use as it was still affected by the sudden exposure to large amounts of raw, alchemical energy. Now that her Arcane Mass won't be able to successfully defend her as effectively as before, Tagg was now forced to use her mind and acquired skill to escape from this predicament. She had to think fast though if she didn't want to suffer the gruesome effects of such a brutal and merciless barrage of attacks.

"How will you get out of this one, Tagg?"

"Geheim Capsule!"

[Description: An 8 foot tall cylinder wraps around Tagg and encases her completely and transports her through any object at great speed. She uses it to get through solid earth, or travel through space. She can fit up to 2 people inside the capsule.]

With the affect of the explosion affected the Arcane is the area, but the Arcane she always keeps deep under ground was untainted and only popped up for a mere second to snatch her up and bring her down. Once it entered to floor it zoomed directly underneath Ky, getting underneath his shards protecting him as well. The Arcane surrounding her and taking her to him also was able to block her reitsu. So with the attack and the reitsu being blanketed her sneak attack was assured. In the capsule as it took it's few seconds to reach it's target, Tagg grasped her blade and pointed it forward. The capsule broke the ground underneath Ky and the Arcane capsule broke into fragments and arched over Ky and were preparing to strike from many angles, at the same time Tagg was within inches of Ky and her blade and she grasped the back handle of the sword adding force to her blow. Tagg bellowed as the attack ensued.

"Schlachten sie alle, Bechlem!"

As Tagg's blade formed into the mighty seven foot long spear, her blow would be more powerful, the Arcane around Ky would be of a higher density, and she was already within sneezing range of Ky making this attack a possible deadly blow.

Ky Die Verrater

The barrage of lasers exploded, scattering dust all over the area which lessened Ky's line of sight, obstructing his field of vision as he squinted, trying to make out the things around him, but still maintaining his composure, raising his rapier in a defensive pattern to protect himself from any harm that may come upon him.

As soon as the dust around him cleared, Ky grunted, letting out an audible "********!" word when he saw that Tagg was nowhere to be found. He didn't even trace even a small amount of reiatsu on her as if she disappeared into thin air, like a ghost. Even though he didn't see her, Ky already knew that she was planning on making a sneak attack as his experience tells him to. Scanning the area around him, he remained on high alert, waiting for any sign that Tagg would appear and attack him.

In an instant, the ground beneath him broke and allowed Ky to catch a glimpse of the Arcane capsule breaking, revealing Tagg, along with her Arcane, looming over him, ready to attack. He was expecting the Arcane to be the first one to cause damage, but it surprised him that the first melee attack from Tagg came not from her Arcane, but from herself, using her spear-like shikai form as it rushed mercilessly towards him with the intent of piercing his heart for a fatal blow.

With a quick step the the right, Ky barely avoided the spear as it passed by his side, causing a small cut in his lower left rib and tearing through a small portion of his expensive clothes. If this hadn't been an enjoyable fight, he would have taken out the "payment" for the clothes from Tagg's bruised and bloodied body, but so far, she had been entertaining him for quite a bit. She truly is an interesting opponent.

As Tagg's spear passed by his side, Ky grabbed hold of the spear's long shaft with his left hand and pulled it to him with his monstrous strength so that he could close the gap even further. Quickly, Ky stabbed his rapier into the ground then snapped his fingers. Four crimson spikes immediately appeared before the Arcane Mass, shattered, then reformed into a giant crystal shield, shielding him from the barrage. The rapier on the ground, too, in response shone with alchemical energy, once again disrupting the energy flow of the Arcane in the immediate area, leaving Tagg once again unable to use her trump card effectively.

Without even the slightest hint of hesitation, Ky lunged at Tagg to meet her with right hand open. Ky intended to grab the Arcane Queen's face and channel through a significant amount of his reiatsu in order to hit Tagg's face with a force-pulse attack, capable of sending her crashing into the rocks behind her with relative ease. At such a range, the Arcane Queen would have to think up of a way to get out of this predicament, once again forced to use her own skills. In a subtle and hidden way, Ky was intentionally canceling out her use of Arcane energy to teach her that it's not always good to depend on the powers you've acquired, and in the end, victory or defeat rests in your own hands, using your own strength. This is something that all Ravens know at heart. Without this realization, Tagg would only be a poser with a Mark, not knowing how to fight as a true Raven would.

It happened, Tagg realized Ky's intentions and made him fall for her trick. As his hand was placed on Tagg's face it seemed to be that Tagg's own face caved in. Then her head seemed to turn to a mushy-glop and surround Ky's hand, holding it firmly in place. Almost as if her head was eating his hand. The glop that was once her head turned to the color of normal Arcane on Ky's arm and began to run up his sleeves and enter his pores. Her poison was already in affect.

The trick was that when Tagg entered the ground, she created a Arcane clone (that she uses in many battles) in the capsule, (that can hold up to two people) and when she spoke of her shikai, she did enter that state, but sent up a clone of herself holding a spear of Arcane as the clone itself was made of the same substance. Tagg, while underground brought herself up behind Ky and while his crystals were dealing with the Arcane, and Ky was dealing with the clone, she placed her hand near back of Ky, right behind his heart and fired off her attack. Her hand was placed half of an inch away from his back.

"Geheim Kanone..."

[Description: Tagg holds out her hand, all fingers spread wide and Arcane forms in her palm. With great force a blast 2 feet in diameter fire forth from Tagg's palm, eradicating everything she fires it towards.]

With Ky being locked in place and him being poisoned, Tagg was sure Ky could not stop her blast so closely to his heart and as well as the Arcane injecting itself to poison Ky. Tagg was running out of available Arcane, she needed to end this now, or her Ky would be the first to see her Bankai.

[Description on poison: Arcane mass of any variation is poisonous and can kill a person after entering the body (through a pore, mouth, ears etc) for more than 16 seconds. If it hits a limb the limb will fall off in 14 seconds and spreading to the rest, and entering the heart, eyes, and lungs.]

((All description can be found in my journal, as well as a article on Arcane. Also, Tagg's Bankai is made to trick people into thinking she relies on only her Arcane, but her Bankai is nearly 90% physical.))

Ky Die Verrater

Only realizing his mistake of attacking the clone Tagg had made right after the Arcane had wrapped itself around his felt arm, Ky cursed out loud as he was now forced to receive the blunt of all of Tagg's attacks. First, the Arcane entered Ky's bloodstream, causing him a high amount of pain, but what's even worse, due to the extremely poisonous substance, Ky's vision began to turn hazy and his nervous system, thanks to the Arcane, began to grow haywire. What's more, the Arcane mass solidified itself as Tagg appeared just behind him and placed her palm a half an inch away from his back and was about to unleash a powerful attack, intending to pierce his heart through and through. Ky hissed. "Sneaky b***h..."

Using what little strength he had left, he ripped out his left left arm from the solidified Arcane, the force of which pulled Ky's body along its general direction, just in time as Tagg's Geheim Kanone shot out of her palm. Ky wasn't able to fully dodge the attack as it blew a hole in his right shoulder, almost blowing it off his body due to the sheer power of the blast, but still, he was lucky that he had avoided it just in time for it not to be a fatal strike. Catching himself with his left hand as he held onto the rapier he stabbed into the ground a little bit earlier, pulled it out, and jumped out of the hole Tagg had created, landing a few meters away.

Severely injured and heavily poisoned, Ky dropped to his knees, sweating and breathing heavily. Blood trailed off the right part of his body like a river while the Arcane slowly ate away his left hand. Ky was in great pain, more pain than one could ever thought possible, and yet, he wasn't crying. He just grit his teeth and bore the pain like a true man. He had his pride to uphold, and he also didn't want to seem like a crazy person who enjoyed the feeling of pain, like most of the people he knew who would just laugh at this kind of pain off.

With his ever-weakening left hand, Ky pulled out a small vial from his breast pocket, popped the cork, and drank its contents. The vial he drank was a panacea, a legendary medicine, passed down from generations upon generations of alchemists, that can cure any type of illness, heal any type of wound, and not to mention boosts the immune system. Soon, all of his mortal wounds began to heal and the Arcane's poison slowly being overpowered as the poison slowly became absorbed into his system as his immune system, thanks to the liquid, adapted to the Arcane's poison and quickly terminated it from his system.

As for the massive wound on his right shoulder, the burnt and destroyed muscle tendons healed themselves and started reconnecting themselves to Ky's shoulder, and in the end, allowed Ky use of his right arm once more as if nothing happened. Well, almost nothing. Even though his wounds were seemingly healed, the pain and the strain they caused were still there. His right shoulder still hurt like hell as was his left hand, now temporarily black due to Tagg's Arcane.

Semi-healed of his previous wounds, Ky rose from where he stood with eyes filled with murderous intent. Unlike before which shone of fiery passion and the thrill of the fight, Ky's eyes were now cold, almost emotionless. Without saying a word, Ky placed his rapier before him and called out his Doll. "Zeige Dich, Geheimnis...," he whispered as his rapier reformed into a heavily-armored orihaclum Doll, his Doll, Geheimnis.

Immediately, Ky jumped into Geheimnis' body, and in a flash, they were now fused together, Bount and Doll fighting as one being. Using his scanners, Ky immediately ascertained the situation and the area and calculated a perfect attack plan based on the data he had gathered on Tagg as well as her fighting style. He wasn't able to do this before, because of the lack of data. Now that he was fused with his technologically-superior Doll, he now had the means to compute whatever he was that he needed in order to adapt to the battle at hand. His energy though was slowly being depleted, thanks to all the damage he received earlier, so he can only fight for a little longer now. Still, Ky wanted to put on a show for Tagg. It wasn't over until it's over.

With a loud mechanical whir, several mechanisms shot out of Ky's back and gathered the surrounding spirit energy. A few seconds later, a large pulse spread across the ground like a powerful shockwave, originating from Ky who was still standing there. The ground beneath them immediately shattered, then through reverse transmutation, turned the chunks of debris into simple dust. This shockwave, too, also disrupted the Arcane energy Tagg had, once again making her unable to use her Arcane energy that well leaving the only Tagg he saw as the real one, not a clone. Even his scanners proved it right. The vital signs belonged to Tagg.

Disappearing into thin air, Ky reappeared a split second later just in front of Tagg. Thanks to his ARC activation, his boosters, and the additional power he got from fusing with Geheimnis, Ky was now faster than ever before. He was so fast that he didn't even give a chance for Tagg to react and was already launching an attack as soon as he got there, wasting no time.

Ky launched a right uppercut at Tagg, but he didn't intend it to leave it at just that. With a bright flash of light, his right hand morphed into an even thicker hand with small rocket thrusters on his elbows which fired up as fast as they appeared, adding to the force of his already powerful punch. As an alchemist, Ky believed in equivalent exchange or the concept of paying something back with something of equal value. This was revenge for the attack Tagg made which almost killed him. He wasn't angry or anything, but he was simply returning the favor in kind.
