open for anyone ^^  The early morning sun gently started to peek through the many branches of the thick trees surrounding the small pond.
Small creatures emerged into the morning only to dart back into their homes at the sight of something larger near the waters edge.
The lone centaur sat at the waters edge, her hooves resting in the cold water but she could no longer feel it.
She had arrived late in the night and had not moved from that spot and with good reason.
~Why?~ she though to herself gazing at her reflection ~Why her and not me. Are we not from the same family.~ Swiping at her puffy tear stained eyes she glared at her reflection in the pool.
"Why pick my sister over me" she said aloud slapping her hoof against the water angrily , shattering her reflection, she shouted "WHY!?"
Looking back at the slowly calming water she let out another sob "stupid pelt." she cursed raking her hand over the waters surface shattering her image once again.

Ch'zoza rose, and then did the sun a while later. By then she'd secured all her trade goods and double-checked her supplies and was off toward Haventree for her first trip of summer. It was so nice to travel in early summer, before the wet humidity was too much but after the last of the crisp spring winds had blown away.
She guided herself by shadows and sounds, never trusting one path for too long for this far out in the woods they tended to change. It wasn't long before she was in a familiar area and knew of a nice pool nearby. Her water skins were full, but why dip into them if there was fresh water nearby?

Leaning forward on her front legs Misika sighed letting the tears roll down her face.
"What are you going to do now?" she asked her reflection.
~You cant do anything useful. You were raised to be a wife to a man now married. what good are you now?~ the little voice in her head said.
Shrugging off her bag she stood up and slowly walked into the cold water till it was up to the top of her legs.
Standing in the cold water calmed her down a bit but she needed more.
Slowly she submerged her whole self in the pool. The only part left visible was her hair swirling on the surface.

When Ch'zoza came upon the pool, that was what she saw. The cool waters and some strange brown moss in the middle. Shouldn't it be growing near the sides? She also couldn't remember any kind of rock being high enough there in the middle to show moss.
When she got closer though she could see better, for the cool waters were also quite clear. "Stars above!" She dropped what she could as quickly as possible and didn't take the time to get off all her clothes, those would dry. One leap landed her thigh deep in the water. She lunged and reached out, just long enough to catch at the shoulders of whoever was in the pool. Though she didn't have high hopes. The body in the pool wasn't struggling, which made Ch'zoza think she might be too late.

Misika gasped as she felt something enter the water, Big mistake as her lungs filled with water. Panic filled her as she tried to gasp for air under the water her mind not thinking straight.
Suddenly she felt something on her shoulder pulling her up.
As her head broke the surface she felt the wind on her face and coughed up the water that had entered her lungs.
Taking a few deep breaths to fill her lungs her head fell forward the damp hair blocking her face for the moment.
Turning to the side once she was calmed her breathing she noticed the look on the other taurs face and realised what it must of looked like.
"um Hi." was all she could think of saying.

Ch'zoza was quite pleased to hear the other gasp for breath, it meant she was alive at the very least. She kept a good hold to help keep the other above water while she sorted herself out. She tried to keep her confusion to herself - had this woman been drowning or... Well, Ch'zoza just couldn't tell.
"Hi." Cho'zoza reached to move aside some of the woman's hair. "Shall we dry off?" she asked.

She blinked for a moment just looking at the person in front of her.
"Um sure i have some blankets over their" she said pointing to her small camp sight near the waters edge.
Standing at her full height in the water She slowly began to move to the edge.
"Um do you want something to eat, i have some soup here that might warm you up."

Water dripped off them both as Ch'zoza followed the other to her camp. She was at a loss for words and still didn't quite understand what had been happening... she'd only just begun putting two and two together and she didn't like the result. "Thank you," she said, "for your hospitality." She detoured slightly to pick up her own things and brought them beside the camp.

Throwing one over her back she looked for the second towel.
"Here you go." she said handing over a largish towel
"I..em.. thanks, i guess. I know what that must of looked like." Misika stuttered slightly while drying herself off.
Digging about in another pack she pulled out another bowl and spoon.
Skewering some meat Misika placed it over the small fire to finish cooking, then with a ladle she scooped out some liquid from a tightly woven basket next to the fire.
"it's not much, just wild veg soup but i got some rabbit meat to add if you would like." she said offering one of the bowls.
"My names Misika."

Ch'zoza shook her head as she accepted the offered bowl and towel. "I just need a warm up, no extra effort is needed." The towel for now she laid across her shoulders, under her hair so that it would drip there rather than on her clothes. Her clothes were wet anyway, but why prevent them from drying if she didn't have to.
She knew she sounded stiff and formal. How did one speak to someone who had willingly submerged herself in a lake? She tried to strike up as normal a conversation as she could without bringing it up.
"I'm Ch'zoza," she said, "bound for Haventree to trade. Have you traveled far?" She assumed that a camp meant the woman was currently on the road.

She shook her head slightly her wet hair moving slightly "Just a days walk from my village." She paused looking back through the trees " But I'm planning to go far. I stopped at the lake to gather water weed. which is what you saw."
Misika pointed to a small pile near the waters edge "but their is not much around the edge so i have to do deeper."

Ch'zoza nodded, taking a deep slurp of soup. She'd never done such things before - neither being much of a gatherer nor knowing much about medicinal properties of things. So it sounded logical to her. She wondered why she didn't use an air straw. She'd seen them used along the river by those who preferred to "hunt" rather than fish.
"Do you... make medicine?" She wasn't sure what else the weed was used for. She'd certainly never eaten it before.

"I know a little bit about medicine. But i use water weed in cooking mostly." placing her empty bowl down she smiled. "It's good for traveling helps keep your body strong. My calling is mostly animals.
I help catch wild animals to train as pets. I got 6 little ones last night"
Carefully opening a strange crate with hole in it she lifted out a small white rabbit with pink eyes. "and got this litle girl this morning. She'll make a nice price because of her color. Albino's are rare."
gently stroking the rabbit across it's forehead and down it's back gently the animal seemed at peace in her hands.
"I feed these little ones on water weed aswell. helps tame them i think."
Putting the little white one back in the box and locking it she opend another box and lifted out a small grey rabbit only slightly bigger then the albino "You wanna hold one?"

"I've never known someone to both care for and eat animals," she said. She preferred eating. And selling off good furs such as the albino had. But so as not to seem rude she gingerly reached out her hands. "Is there a special way to? I don't want your catch getting away," she said with a teasing grin.

Misika pondered for a second "not really though about how i hold them before"
Looking at her hands she thought for a moment "just hold it like you would a bowl. Dont worry if it breaks away one less wont harm me."
Gently she placed the little rabbit in her hands smiling.
