Some eyes I did a while ago... Also, I wanted to test out my forum based rating scripts update. (let me know if images aren't showing up right for you guys.)

Tell me what you guys think about a rating system like this. I have posted this on a different forum as well, so there are already a few votes. (and no, XD I haven't voted for myself. That would be self indulgent and doesn't help me learn anyway.) C&C the eyes too.

Pencil on that was a .7mm 2b mechanical pencil. The cheapest I could find. (it was like 20 of them at wal-mart for $2)

Through this drawing, I think that I draw better with mechanical pencils than I do with the actual drawing pencils. *shrug* I used to draw with a mechanical pencil in high school all the time way back in 2004, so that may be why.

Butter's right. No doubt, your shading is pretty excellent. But darned, that left eye is droopy. And the eyes are different shapes. You need to recognize this. (Well, I suppose you don't have to but...) The one on the left is a bit more parallelogram-ish juxtaposed to that right one, which is a bit more almond-y. See the difference? And you mde the light hit the left eye more directly (a largler shine) on the left eye even though the light should be shining closer to the right eye, as the shine appears on the right side of the eyeball. And one final thing; this is really important too. Your eyebrows are backwards. I know people have some weird looking eyebrows but generally they don't have ones that are really thin as they get closer to the nose and wider as they move out. Those eyebrows would be so much more elegant if they were just turned around (reflected, if you will). But, all in all, those are a nice set of eyes. Just some food for thought, things to consider. mrgreen And if this sounded harsh, it's just 'cause it's on paper...er... screen. My comments are much nicer in my head. I usually just leave out most of the commendation in critiques since my critiques tend to be... lengthy. rofl So please exuse me.

Oh! And I'm rank-retarded. I don't know how to use your star system. Sorry. But the idea is really cool. blaugh
