The scent of flames burned her nostrils, her lungs filling with the terrible scent of the death that surrounded her. Suddenly she was running, muscles tensing, contracting with the movement as her hooves pounded against the ground. There was a loud 'CRACK' as a large tree came crashing down, heading straight for her.

Irena's eyes snapped open, a startled look plastered on her face as she gasped for air. It was a nightmare, nothing more. Her whole body shook with the adrenaline from the fright, it seemed so real, they always seemed so real. Was she cursed to be haunted by what little memory she had? The thought terrified her, the worst was that she could remember nothing else, surely her life had been nice beforehand? What had happened? Who was she supposed to be?

Slowly she rose from her resting place, her legs nearly giving out, feeling drained from the panic. "E-everything is o... ok" she spoke softly, an attempt to calm her nerves. Steadying herself, she decided it was time to leave this area, walking would make her feel better, make her forget. It was why she never stayed in one place for too long in this new land. She had made friends during her travels, but they couldn't stop the recurring nightmares of the fire and the fear, so she left, left to find a cure for the dreams and the rest of her memories.
