 Lloyd was once again resting in the shade. He was near the temple where he had discovered his feelings for Sophie. He was here mainly to see her again. This was the only spot he could think of that she would come to. He stared at the temple thinking about how much he loved her. It was quite strange. He had never felt this way about any other female and he knew several of them. "Oh Sophie." He sighed.

 Sophie stepped into the small clearing that held the magnificent temple that held the most precious memory she had. She was hopping to find Lloyd here. It had been a while and she needed to think about what had transpired here that day. Soon though it was evident she loved him, that and another reason took her back to him.
With a swollen abdomen that wasn't too visible, but definatly there she made her way to the temple where lloyd's back came into view and she heard him speak her name. She smiled happily and repplied, "Yes Love?"

Lloyd jumped up and whipped around to face Sophie. "Sophie dear!" He said smiling, "So good to see you." He was about to move forward when he caught her scent, it smelled different. He frowned for a moment and then shook his head. Perhaps she had rolled in some flowers or something. "How are you sweetheart?" He asked smiling at the new nickname for her, "I was hoping to see you again.... Just so I could tell you..... *takes a deep breath* That I love you."

Sophie grinned at him, approaching Lloyd and licking him on the cheek, a blush creeping over her face. "I actually came here to tell you the same thing, Lloyd. I love you too." Her tail swayed to one side and then the next with happiness. It took alot off of her, knowing that he loved her. It gave her more confidence to tell him the other reason why she had come.
"Actually, there is something else I would like to tell you too." She sat down infront of him, her smile remaining. "I think you should sit down though, it may be shocking to you and I want you to be prepared." She inched a little closer to him, her face growing serious. "Just remember what you said please...that you love me." Her heart was beatting one hundred miles an hour in her chest and she was sure Lloyd could hear it thumping against her ribcage. She was sure that her behavior must be alarming but at the moment it was hard to calm down.

Lloyd smiled kindly at Sophie while wagging his tail quickly. "That's great! We can really be together now." He said tilting his head confused. Her heart was beating so quickly. Was it because of what she is going to tell him? "What is you want to tell me? Nothing you can say is going to change the fact that I love you." He said sitting down like she asked.

Sophies blue ees came in contact with lloyd's pretty green ones and she smiled. "Nothing will change how we feel about each other..." She nuzzled him a little for comfort before pulling back. She was stalling and she knew it. She took a deep, steadying breath and let it out slowly. "Lloyd....I'm...well...I'm pregnant." She looked at him expectantly with anxious eyes. She felt vulnerable waiting for his answer.

Lloyd was still smiling when Sophie nuzzled him. He nuzzled her back and then nodded. "Very true." He said not faltering when she said she was pregnant (due to the fact that it hadn't registered), "Oh your pregnant.... That's nice." He paused and his eyes grew wide as he really heard what she said. "Y-y-you're pregnant?! With my puppies?! ......" He stuttered as he started to freak out, "What?! HOW!? I-I-I mean I can't believe it! I mean I so happy but oh my goodness!" He started hyperventilating and then passed out falling to the ground.

Sophie yelped in surprise when Lloyd slumped to the side, passed out. She cought him in time and lowered him jently to the grass, whining as she licked his face. She was on the verge of tears. Hed the ews overwhelmed him that much? Was he really happy? His reaction was mixed and it made her stomach do sumer saults, making her sick. She had to fight to keep it under controll, lately any thing made her sick and apparently this was one of those things. "Lloyd?" She licked his face, calling his name to wake up.

Lloyd was still out for a couple of minutes but with Sophie calling his name he regained consciousness. "Uh......" He said opening his eyes and seeing Sophie, "How did I get down here?" He sat up slowly wondering why he had passed out. It then hit him that he was going to be a father and Sophie was pregnant. "So it's true. You're going to have puppies.... I guess that explains why you smell different." He said shaking his head to clear it, "I definitely wasn't expecting us to have puppies so quickly. But I really am glad. I would love to have little pups who look like you running around." He smiled kindly at her and then nuzzled her. "We'll have to think of names and find a good home."

Sophie sat down next to him and wiggled close to him placing her head on his shoulder, cuddlinging up to him and closing her eyes. "I'm happy that you are happy about this. I was so worried..." She lifted her head off his shoulder and smelled her leg. "I smell different? Is that good, or bad?" She looked aat him, her head tilted slightly to the side, a smile on her lips. "I bet they will look like the both of us." She licked his nose. "We are going to be parents, Lloyd!"

Lloyd rested his head on Sophie's for a second before pulling back to look at her. "Why would you be worried? I would be happy about this no matter what. Just very very surprised is all." He said smiling and shaking his head, "It's nothing bad. Just a clue that your pregnant." He nuzzled her and then licked her cheek. "Well I do hope that they turn out as beautiful as you sweetheart." He said with a chuckle, "Yes we are. A young and old parents."

Sophie nuzzled him and smiled. "Age is only a number, and love your only as old as you feel." She licked him lovingly, closing her eyes and nodding. " I mmagine they will be beautifull no matter what." Her ears perked up at Lloyd. "Are there any types of fruit arround that are eddible? That just sounds so yummy..." Her blue eyes brightened as a wave of wanting came over her. She'd been getting this feeling lately also too and knew it wouldn't go away, this craving, untill she had what she wanted.

Lloyd laughed. "I think the pups will make me feel ancient." He said smiling, "Yes. I think there are some berry bushes and bananas near here. Want me to go get you some?" He looked at her with a strange look on his face. Was she already getting the odd food cravings?

Sophie licked her nose and shook her head. "No, I probably shouldn't. The last time I ate something I wanted it didn't go over too well. I think I'll wait a little longer." She had remembered that along with eating the things that sounded good to her it also caused her stomach to churn. As did some other foods...but she wasn't going to go into detail. "I think you will make a wonderfull father Lloyd." She sighed happily and layed down on her side, looking up at him. "I can just immagine them calling you daddy in their cute little puppy voices." The thought made her swell up with happiness as she beamed up at her mate, the helix she loved.

Lloyd nodded and laid down next to her. "If you say so sweetheart." He said smiling, "Just like you will make a good mother. They'll cling to you going mommy mommy I want this I want that." He chuckled at that thought. Catching her beaming up at him, he couldn't help himself as he nuzzled her. "I'm so glad I met you. You are the best thing in my life."
