Okay I was diagnosed with BPD, or Bipolar Depression, once in my life. And I thought it went away but I guess it didn't. I was wondering if anybody had any advice on methods of keeping my mood under controll? I've tried keeping myself busy with games and such, but I want to try something new. And I don't wanna see any doctors x_X

You might have to. A lot of people with Bi-Polar, or any other mental disorder usually need some form of professional help to help them cope with what they have. Even if you don't want to see a therapist or a psychologist (etc), you might very well have to in order to deal with your BPD.
I personally don't know a whole lot about Bi-Polar, so I can't really add to the information already given in the sticky. You could try looking it up online, asking a counsellor at school, or asking your parents. Other than that, I don't know what to suggest.

Please go see a doctor, if you don't like the psychiatrists you went to before change there are many different types of psychotherapy approches out there. The problem with being bipoler is that the symptoms (mania and drepression) are reacuring in ones lifespan so for a while you will feel fine but after that they can come back.
If you don't like the med aproch then talk to your psychiatrists about a combination of meds and behavioural therapy.
But please think about going to a doctor about it. They can give you much better advice than anyone here.
Good luck heart

i have it too but as in a low range.. it's been gone for almost a year now because since i have my bf beside me, he plays my phychiatrist whenever I need one.. he gives me love whenever I need it.. but.. i guess if i didn't have him I'd be wether on a phychiatric hospital or a grave... I mean, I dont get badly deppressed all the time (not since i have him) but when I do I feel like killing myself... I'd reccomend you a good doc. or a person who really loves you, undersands you and supports you..

I have BPD as well. Whe nyou get stuck in the low days try and find a friend that can make you laugh. I know laughin seems like an impossible thing when your depressed but it's not. There is always someone to hear your problems and then put a smile on your face. Remember things aren't always as bad as they seem. And I understand your feeling about therapists. I hate them. But pending on how bad your depression is, you might not need one. The friend thing helps, but try getting a job if you don't have one. Or just throw yourself into art or writing or something your good at. If you need someone to talk to, you can pm me. Trust me, I know BPD is a pain.

I think it's in the sticky, so please go check there first. If it's not, PM me and I'll look up the information.
