To what shows or books do you give more attention because of this horrible series? Stuff that makes your life a little more bearable goes here. ^_^
Me? I was so grateful to find an awesome series in Supernatural. The characters are well-developed, the storyline is superior and complex. I appreciate awesome television and music thanks to Twilight.
Share, damnit. ^_^.

Well, I don't think it's a horrible series. It's not the best thing I've ever read, and I've read a helluva lot worse. I think people bash it because it's popular, much of the fanbase is comprised of annoying people, and it's not as incredible as people make it out to be. But horrible? Please.
I guess I don't really get the point of this particular thread? What did Twilight introduce you to? It really didn't introduce me to anything new. I've been fascinated with the supernatural and horror all my life.
If there was something that really got me into horror, it was the Child's Play series and the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books. And it kind of snowballed from there.

I guess I would be asking if there was anything new in your life that made you sigh of relief after all this Twilight hype? Personally, I was missing a lot of stuff in my life that suddenly seemed twice as relevant as I'd been feeling when talking about Twilight.
Something really cool in comparison to talking about disliking a series or something?

Okay, gotcha. Pretty much anything I read after Vampire Kisses seemed 45% more interesting than it would have otherwise. That was the book that kind of made me veer away from vampire books. But as a result, I've gotten into a lot of other great books that are vampire-free and action-filled. Not that I hate vampire books in general. But Vampire Kisses definitely turned me off vampires for awhile.

I agree with Kylee, I was off of vampires for a while before I ever heard of Twilight. But that's just because zombies are so much more kickass.
Is this strictly horror related things it drove you to, or just anything? If horror it can stay here, if not I'll move it to the chatterbox for ya.
