I suppose I could have posted this in the Cosplay subforum but I figured if I were to get advice on this from Death Note fans, it'd definately be here. See my friends and I are looking to come up with a group cosplay for a convention that'll be arriving in three months. So far our choices are pretty practical and pretty interesting to say the least (Princess Tutu, Battle Royale, Evangelion, Angel Sanctuary) but after some consideration on what characters my friends and I could pull off decently, I figured Death Note would be a nice option to juggle as well.
In my choices, I already know who I'd like to be Raito, L, and Misa. Yet where's good ol' Ryuuku? I figured I'd take up the slot for that character since I'm about 6'4", 6'5" and my body structure could compare to some degree. I've looked for samples and came up short of anything I'd say is really flattering to it but still good effort. So I was wondering if anyone by chance has done Ryuuku for a cosplay or has any idea on how to pull off certain features of it's appearance?
+ As far as the Death Note goes, for those of you who have made their homemade ones, how were you able to create it?

If you look through the cosplay thread you'll find some photos of some great Ryuuku costumes that might help you out. Sorry I can't really help anymore than that. .__.;;

fantasma de L Ryuku cosplehs aren't as good as L ones! 3nodding Maybe but Ryuuku cosplay is harder to do than L. By a considerable degree. I wish I could help ya out Nagaki. I know I've seen Ryuuku mask's out there somewhere and I'm sure you can buy them on Ebay or something. Depends what you wanna do really.

I think you could make a death note with just a plain black note book and some white paint.
You should definitely carry around an apple too. lol
