Arriving at last at the final pillar construction point, Tansen brought forth Tsumari-Renkin one last time to construct the last pillar. Although his reiatsu was becoming dangerously low, the young captain refused to stop moving until his work was complete. The lives of all the reisdents of Karakura depended on his plan.
With the last structure completed and standing tall, Tansen finally sheathed his sword and placed his hands together as he began reciting the incantation for a kido. As the words left his lips, all four of the Senkaimon pillars came to life and began spreading their enchanting green glow across the entire town as it transported Karakura to safety and duplicated it.
With his mission almost complete, Tansen brought out his shinigami cell one more time to send the message to Hogosha to protect the final pillar. Wiping the sweat off his brow, Tansen couldn't help but grin as he shunpo'd off towards his mansion.
This is one pillar that I definetely don't have to worry about. After all, Asuma'll make sure that the pillar stays safe, even if it costs him his life.
Tansen had been worried about his younger half brother ever since he had dissapeared all those years ago. Knowing that he was still alive, even as a spirit, was enough to put his mind at ease. Now with his work finished, Tansen could finally relax.

Slowly walking into the area, Hogosha was in no hurry to get to the place Tansen had designated him to be. While he could feel the Hollow's presence coming closer every day, they never would be able to reach them without every shinigami in the area knowing long before. There were more than enough stronger spirits to feel when They were near. The only things he had to worry about, were the Espada. He knew he could take a few of them by himself, even more with Asuma at his side. Hogosha or Asuma could even coat the pillar with reiatsu and a thick later of metal or earth if they had to. Keeping the pillar standing would be easy, as long as too many espada didn't find their way here. Arrancar would quickly meet their end, and Hollow would be destroyed the instant his reiatsu touched them. The half Zaigou blood in him gave him that much.
His oversized rapier in it's blood red sheath, Asuma's voice quickly filled his head, as soon as they both felt Tansen's reiatsu coming off the pillar.
Well, it seems he's been busy. Might as well try to make sure it stands long enough for all the Hollow to die while trying to destroy it
And as long as YOU don't destroy it yourself.
Oh, come on. I won't do THAT much damage...well...I'll try not to.
Exactly. Try not to destroy it, will you?
...Whatever...
Letting the argument stop between himself and his spirit...well...past body inhabitor, anyway. Right now they needed to focus on protecting the pillar Tansen had used so much of his reiatsu to make. When it came to it, Hogosha could simply release Asuma in shikai and allow him to kill everything around him as Hogosha protected the pillar. Asuma would be happy to get out, and Hogosha wouldn't have to waste his time. at least until the Espada showed up. Depending on who it was, would determine how much of his power he would have to use. After all, using too much of his reiatsu around the pillar could dissolve it, as well. He would just have to wait and see.
Quickly jumping on top of the pillar, Hogosha quickly said something under his breath, as his reiatsu heightened. "Tozansho." As he said the name of the bakudo, a cage enclosed the pillar, adding extra protection to the pillar if Asuma and Hogosha were to be overrun with hollow or arrancar. Of course, the reiatsu was made of his Zaigou reiatsu, a jet black color, and would eat away at any hollow flesh that touched it, even an arrancar's hierro layers if they were to hit it. A hollow's Cero might burn away at the bars, but the cero would also be destroyed as well, as the two energies would cancel each other out. Standing atop the cage, Hogosha sighed, waiting for what was to come.

((Having read the Zaigou Description, I don't actually see anything about Hollows evaporating upon touching you as a possible description.))
And so it begins... Wulf thought to himself as he came up upon the pillar. He only allowed his mind to scan the area for a fraction of a second. This reiatsu is familiar... His thoughts reached into his memories. I do remember fighting that one Captain. Zaigou, I believe it is called. Wulf had once fought a Shinigami Captain with a similar reiatsu signature. He would be careful against such a force.
Wulf's eyes drifted from the top of the pillar, down to the figure standing at its base. He sighed as he ran his fingers down his jaw-lining mask and up its two fangs. "Absolve yourself." Wulf called to Hogosha. "Leave the premises and I promise not to damn you to Hell." Wulf raised a single eyebrow at Hogosha. Choose wisely...

((Not touching me, but the energy. Like, if a hollow was stupid enough to actually try to BITE the bars, then they would slowly be eaten away by the reiatsu. The same could be said of punching it, or grabbing it. Physical contact with no protection is what I meant.))
Not even looking up, Hogosha had felt the reiatsu of the Espada even before Wulf had appeared above him. The reiatsu was easy to detect. Foreign to this world, this dimension. Since Asuma had spent so much time in Hueco Mundo and Las Noches, Hogosha could even smell the damn things. And it agitated him. Not as badly as the first time Hogosha had met a Vizard, though. It only annoyed him, like a splinter in his finger that made his hand throb. He didn't move, though. He would simply let the Espada come to him.
And he did. Hogosha didn't move as the Espada spoke, not turning around, even though he was only a little ways off. The top of the pillar showed him the entire area. The people who could be killed if the pillars failed. And he could feel the shinigami in the town, even more incentive to fight. He wasn't going to lose. "Why say something...when you know as well as I that I will not heed it." Of course he wasn't going to leave. Did he honestly think that Hogosha would simply leave just because he told him to? threats no longer worked on him. Words, were just that; words. Actions were what spoke to him. This espada, no matter what rank he was, no matter how well known he might be, he would not get past Hogosha to the pillar. Not as long as he was alive. And as long as Asuma was a spirit, he too would never let the happen.
Now turning around, Hogosha's blank look made it's way up to Wulf, their blood red color seeming to look right through the Espada. His scarf hid the rest of his features past the top of his nose, hiding his bored look. It didn't, however, soften his voice. "Leave now...you won't have to see your body corroding before your very eyes...if they are left by that time." His hands were crossed over his chest, in an X shape. His blade was still sheathed at his side, is hands not even near it. They didn't have to be. Not yet, at least.

((Short post... Trying to not wake parents...))
Wulf was not surprised at Hogosha's question. He isn't as unintelligent as he looks. Wulf thought to himself. His muscles twitched for a second. Wulf made a facial gesture similar to that of a grin. Wulf was not happy. "It is to give you a chance." He said. His deep voice echoed through the area. "I would actually have let you go. If you were to leave now..." With that last word, Wulf snapped his fingers, removing them from his chin. A sonic boom boomed (I couldn't think of any other verb to use there...) between Wulf's fingers, shooting straight at Hogosha. "...that is." He finished his sentence as silence spread across the area.

Moving his hands from his chest, Hogosha didn't even make a sound, as his left hand was coated in reiatsu. Moving his right hand to his side and letting his arm just hang there, limp, it was still able to move quickly to his blade, now that it had actually begun. But...could this really be even called the beginning? Sighing underneath the scarf, Hogosha simply backhanded the air in front of him, just as the sonic boom came near him. The harsh blast of sound and air clashed against his hand, but was quickly redirected, becoming a strong breeze that only served to move his hair and clothes like any other wind would. The sound just made his ears ring for a second, nothing more.
Now that that was over, Hogosha let his left hand drop to his side as well, bored. If the Espada thought that he was stupid enough to actually move from the pillar, he was gravely mistaken. Even with the reiatsu bars that would eat away at even the Espada's skin if he tried to touch them with his body, Hogosha still didn't want to move from it. At any second, more of him could appear, and what then? The pillar would still be there, left. He wasn't going to let anything touch it. Not while he was still alive. "Do you have any more empty threats...or shall we begin."

Wulf hadn't expected anything special after his simple attack. Wulf smirked. "It was not I making threats." He said. "I was only giving you a chance to absolve yourself." Wulf's face became blank. "I see you will not heed it." He lifted his hand once again. This time, he lazily extended his index finger. Reiatsu swirled in and around his finger, steaming with pressure. A tiny red orb formed just outside of Wulf's fingertip. With a short flick of his wrist, the red orb shot forward. "Bala..." Wulf said calmly. This Bala shot towards Hogosha with a hum. Almost simultaneously, Wulf fired off seven more Bala blasts, each firing at different parts of the pillars, away from Hogosha. Based on the way that Wulf had calculated it, the seven bala blasts would hit the pillar simultaneously.

"Simple..." Sighing underneath his scarf, Hogosha moved his right hand up now, charging the familiar black reiatsu into his hand. As soon as the balas were all fired, Hogosha moved his right arm in front of him, his blood red eyes only looking at Wulf. "Bala Taigen, Furea((Bala Impersonation, Flare))" All at once, the energy in Hogosha's hand fired into replicas of Balas, eight of them firing and curving, targeting the Hollow energy of Wulf's, cancelling out both reiatsu as they met in the air in front of the pillar. Long ago Hogosha had come up with ways to combat most of the espada's main attacks, reido covering cero, and Bala Teigen covering Bala. Hierro was simple enough with the Ken no Zaigou, and then he could compensate for any other skills the Espada had with his own. He was more then prepared.
His blade was still sheathed, and it looked, to Hogosha, that Wulf would fail to try and attack him head on. So be it. He was still rooted to the spot he was in, unmoving, unfailing. He would wait for Wulf to make his move, and then he would make his own. It was just how Hogosha was. How Asuma had been.
"Just going to stand there?"

"Who ever said that?" Wulf's voice came from behind Hogosha, whispered into his ear. His sonido hadn't even made its sonic boom yet. Wulf's right fist shot forward, screeching towards the back of Hogosha's head. But Wulf sonidoed away before he made contact. Leaving a shock wave of air behind, Wulf moved in front of Hogosha, his fist now coursing with red energies. "Cero!" He called as his fist shot at Hogosha. As his fist grew closer to Hogosha's face, he unleashed the red beam. His cero would easily overtake the blast of air if they were to collide. The beam would then continue on to the pillar.

Simply standing there, Hogosha simple watched and waited as the punch was aimed at him. As it became obvious as only a blast of air, the Cero engulfed his form, continuing on to the pillar. It never made it there, though. Even the Bars around the pillar would have been more than enough to stop the cero, but Hogosha had decided to take care of it himself. His left hand was in front of him, coated with his black reiatsu, as the Cero was slowly dissolved by his own Reido energy. It was simple, really. Hogosha had more reiatsu at his disposal than the lone Cero, even if he put small amounts at a time. The Cero would lose it's speed and power, and dissolve on it's own. It wasn't like he hadn't done this before. Pointing at Wulf, Hogosha's expression didn't change at all. The bakudou was instantaneous. "rikujōkōrō"
As soon as he said the first syllable in the spell, the bakudo had formed six bars, all comprised of his black energy, racing at Wulf's body to hang him in place. Not only would they trap him, but they would slowly burn away at him, just like a Reido would. He would not spare him. Not in the least.

((I think you overestimate the effectiveness of the Zaigou. The bars on your pillar will also wear down with time. It is a single kidou. It can't last forever. A single Gran Rey or Oscura can easily break both the bars and the pillar. Also, a single hand does not block an entire beam. Whatever parts of your body that wasn't protected by your hand would be damaged.))
Wulf didn't have to move. He simply said one word: "Cero..." Six red beams shot out of Wulf's hands, which hissed as their reiatsu was released. The beams collided with the bakudou, neutralizing each other on contact. "Enough with the games..." Wulf said as he sighed. "If you are being this persistent, I will have to be serious." Wulf's hand found his blade. The red handle tingled in his hand as he began to unsheath it. Like screams, the screech of the metal on metal echoed through the area. Wulf's reiatsu exploded. "Excuse me..." He said over the roar of his reiatsu. "I haven't had to draw my blade in a while..."
Wulf's massive blade was light in his own hand. A flash of silver and Wulf had slashed across at Hogosha. The blade itself was now silent as it glided smoothly through the air. "This will be my tool for execution..." Wulf said as his blade stopped on a dime. He laughed as he charged his right hand with Cero once again. This time, the energy extended down his Zanpakuto as if it were a part of his arm. Slashing back, Wulf didn't even call his attack. His Cero shot from the tip of his blade in an arc.

((The bakudou, yes, it can be destroyed, and will wear down with time. Excuse any lax-ness on my part. I've been a little out of it, lately. Sorry. I'll try to keep everything in proportion.))
"It's about time." Hogosha simply started, his own hand now slowly moving towards his blade. As soon as the Cero-slash was made, Hogosha's hand clasped onto his own blade, the indigo hilt feeling like silk in his hand. Quickly pulling on the hilt, Hogosha's own reiatsu spiked, as the energy wrapped around his own blade. The reido slice created by the swinging of his blade quickly collided with Wulf's cero-slash, as both were negated, sucking inwards as both disappeared. It was time to get down to business. His form still appearing on the pillar, another one of him appeared in front of Wulf, slightly crouched. Slicing his blade in front of him, it seemed to vibrate in the air as it was swung.
The Hogosha on the pillar slowly dissolved, revealing it to be an afterimage, held together by Hogosha's own reiatsu control, a moment's distraction. With the blade rushing at Wulf, Hogosha quickly used his attack, as the blade appeared...everywhere. Moving his blade at shunpo speeds, thanks to high amounts of reiatsu inside his arm, Hogosha was able to strike numerous times on one target in less than a second. Used too many times, though, and it could be dangerous. The first use, though, was easy. "Die."

In a flash of bright light, a figure appeared out of nothingness at the very top of the pillar which guarded the town. On the pillar, a young, silver haired Shinigami, dressed in the standard shinigami outfit, stood with his arms crossed in front of his chest and a long, gray scarf flowing in the wind. His eyes could be seen through his crystal clear glasses; they held the look of complete seriousness. All the while, his facial expression contrasted as it held the smirk of someone who knew they could win. Although the figure revealed these emotions quite well, the true feeling that he had was one of uncertainty and nervousness. This boy had faced many hollows in his life as a shinigami, but never had he come toe to toe against an Arrancar before, especially one of Aizen's Espadas. Nonetheless, his poise held true and his expression did not falter. Jin was here to assist the Vice-Captain Hogosha in his defense of the Western Pillar.
Unbeknown to the two fighting below him, Jin had been observing the fight from quite a distance away in order to examine the Arrancar's abilities in order to better comprehend his fighting style. After careful observation, Jin learned that the best way to to help the Vice-Captain was to defend the pillar and let Hogosha-san fight at full potential without the constant worry of safeguarding the pillar. This would indeed prove quite useful in the fight at hand, but this did not in any way mean that Jin would not get involved in the fight. No, if it became necessary, the young shinigami would indeed join the fight in order to help the Vice-Captain achieve victory. For now, however, he would stand atop the pillar, without announcing his presence, and protect it from any stray or intentional attacks to allow Hogosha-san's full use of abilities.

[[I really dont have to know your abilities. I only wrote that to give my character some background info on why he joined the fight and giving him some confidence to fight an Arrancar for the first time. If you wish, I can remove that sentence from the latter, but I can assure you that it will make no difference seeing as how all you have unleashed are basic Arrancar techniques that my character could have learned about by just reading a book,]]
