A couple of times a year, I get this odd thing that happens to my sister and I when we go to sleep.
The Incident:
The first time this incident happened, I was sleeping in the same room with my sister at my dad's house. I was on the bed, and she on the floor. In the middle of the night (Or really early in the morning) both my sister and I half-woke up. I know this happened because the next morning she told me about what she saw and I told her I saw the same thing.
Anyway, we were both half-awake and I remember seeing someone come into our doorway and stand there for a few seconds, and walk out. I thought it was maybe my dad checking up on us for some reason. But as I thought about it some more as I was eating breakfast the next day, I realized that I was wrong.
But, I asked him if he did anyway. "No." he said. Okay. So I was a little concerned about this. "Well, do you sleep walk?" I knew he didn't, but I asked anyway. "Nope." he said and walked out of the kitchen.
Hmmm. So, my sister came into the dining room a moment later, and said that she had something creepy to tell me. "Someone came into our room last night!" she said. My jaw totally dropped. I was so freaked out.
What scares me even more is the fact that it's happened at my mom's house too. Someone comes into our doorway and looks at us for a couple of seconds, and walks back down the hall.
A second incident:
One night, I was really upset that I couldn't find my silver earrings. I put them right beside my mirror on the floor, and since my room isn't messy, it's not like it got caught in a pile of clothing or stuff. I looked for a half an hour, and then gave up and went to bed. I was really mad because those were my favorite earrings.
In the morning, I woke up to something cold on my arm. I lifted my forearm and my earrings were underneath it on my sheets. I was really freaked out. I asked my mom if she found them and put them there. "I didn't even know you lost them," she said, and left for work.
Wow. Creepy. But at least this "Ghost" doesn't seem to want to harm me...
Any ideas as to what it might be?

No, I'd say it dosen't want to harm you...and even then, if you think about it.. spirits can't do that much. They may not be capable of harming you, even they want to. It could be a relative of yours, maybe a friend. May not be either... but either way I wouldn't be afraid of this one, I would try not to be at least. I think it bothers them when you're afraid of them.
