A while ago I went to Miami with my mother and we stayed with our friend. She has a cousin who manages one of the racing/excersising barns.
It was a really amazing look into how racing actually works. [And how jockies are the horniest men on the planet. Seriously. They like to whistle and act like they can say 'bonita' without anyone knowing what they're saying. XD]
Anyway~
I really don't like the thought of racing. Some of them seem cruel, others are okay.
Soooo; these are some pictures that I took of the horses being breezed.

Half of them were going to fast to catch in a picture. Even on the "Sport" setting.
Can you say... "The most uncomfortable looking ride ever?"
Looked like a competition was going on. I thought this was cool. They're pretty much in step.
Anyways.
We took a walk through the barns and saw a bunch of the guys/girls walking the horses around. That was something that someone my age would actually be allowed to do. It's something that I'm looking into doing.
Something that I found out was that each horse has a whistle that tells them when to pee. This is because after they win a race, the vet has to check them for steroids, drugs, ect ect. And so they have to PEE ON COMAND! I thought it was hilarious.
So yeah.
Have any of you done/seen something like this before? Not a race, I mean the excersising stuff.
