Lumin wrung his hands and bit his lip. He stood outside the Katarina Gym, home of the Gym Assistant, Choppi. She also happened to be a friend of his. He had gone out to sketch Shinx with her before, and they had gotten along wonderfully, but he was still nervous. He had come to ask her a favor, something he rarely did. He had been wanting to capture his own Pokemon since the event with Dr. Hart in the forest, but he was absolutely not going back out there without help. He had debated it for some time before finally deciding to ask Choppi to assist him.
So, here he was, standing nervously outside the door of the gym, debating whether or not he should dig a hole in the ground to hide. Finally, he took a deep breath and approached the door. He was going to do it, if it killed him.An Eevee crouched in the undergrowth, stalking, waiting. He was silent as the grave, barely breathing, concentration pinpointed on one specific target. It was a shiny Eevee, drinking from a small stream. The brown Eevee tensed, and leaped. The shiny heard him at the last second, but it was far too late. The brown Eevee slammed into the white and gray one, sending the shiny flying into the stream. The assailant then proceeded to laugh as his indignant and vain companion glared.

Choppi (Vellu)
Hannah and Cassie (Cubone and Stantler)
Humming to herself while running the bush along Cassie's coat, Choppi smiled and stood back to admire her work. "Well?" She asked the pokemon, who bobbled her head in agreement, before stretching out a bit from standing so still. "Stant!" She smiled at her trainer and waggled her little tail. Laughing back at her pokemon, the gym assistant smiled and tucked her grooming supplies away. Her cubone twirled a boneclub so clean, it almost sparkled. For a bone that is. Hannah smiled and patted Choppi's leg. "Cuecue!"
"Two happy pokemon it is." She let herself smile happily at this little moment, kneeling down to Hannah's height. Her blue hair falling over her shoulders, she chuckled a bit. Quality time with her pokemon was something she cherished. "Food now perhaps?" There was a unanimous 'yes!' from each pokemon in their own language. Nodding, she stood again. "Okay, food it is."

Lumin approached the door to the gym nervously before knocking quietly. He waited several seconds before realizing that he probably hadn't made enough noise for a the strongest ears to have heard him. He took a couple deep breaths and knocked louder, slightly louder than he had meant to. He winced as he waited for the inevitable attention that it would bring to him. He looked around to see that he hadn't attracted any at all.. it must have only seemed loud to him.
The bicolored Eevee sat patiently as his shiny companion berated him. This was not the first time that he had done something to make the other angry, but this time was different, it seemed that the white one had taken this latest assault more seriously. He was being described as a danger to the rest, and was being sent away... The brown one was shocked, he had nowhere else to go...
