Many networking websites such as Facebook offer users the ability to post their "current status." One's current status refers to what the user may be doing or feeling, and are posted for the benefit of the user's friends. It is a quick, fun way to provide updates without posting lengthy journal entries or messaging each friend individually to offer the information. Often in the guild, real life complications make it difficult to get online long enough to roleplay. Additionally, some scenes between characters simply aren't worth roleplaying in great detail. So for those of us limited on time or unwilling to waste it on painstakingly typing out entire scenes, this Current Character Status thread can provide a fast and easy way to detail a character's feelings or activities. For example: Example Writers Hermione is currently reading and brooding over her argument with Ron. Rose spent last night screaming at Scorpius on webcam because he won't just admit to his crush. Christian Granger has the flu and is unwilling to get out of bed. CCS posts may be as long and detailed, or as short and vague as you choose. They may encompass a great length of time, reference current roleplaying, or provide to-the-minute updates. You may spruce up your posts, leave them bare, or list as many characters at once as you'd like, and they may be written in third person or from the character's point of view. Be creative! Take related discussion to the Roleplay Discussion. Non-CCS posts are not permitted.

Virgo is currently furious and giving low marks while grading papers because of his argument with Dame.
Minerva is trying to calm Virgo down but tea isn't helping.
Severus finds it very annoying.

Roxanne is curled up on the couch with Shenanigans and watching old Speed Racer reruns.
Molly just doesn't know what to think.
Freddy wonders when he'll get it right.
Adela is fabulous, as per usual!
Spica is hungry and plans on visiting Ernie soon.
Edvard wishes Riley wouldn't be so difficult.
Elizabeth is making dinner for Evan. ♥
Birdy is amused at Torin's antics . . . He just razzes her berries!
Emilia is starting to wonder when Galen will get home from the bar.

Reg is scribbling down song lyrics on a napkin at White Circle Diner.
Clay is sprawled out on the Quidditch pitch watching the stars.
Claire is tossing bills into the trash.
Dame is brooding in the Prefect's bathroom.
Mulciber is talking to Abygale.
Abygale is talking to Mulciber and making soup for Tom/Voldemort.
Ron can't figure out what street he made a wrong turn on while chasing some D3s.
Marius is arresting a few teenagers and wondering where the hell Ron went.
Mad-Eye is reading the Prophet and grumbling to himself.
Charlie wants to know why everyone thinks he's gay or into dragons. Seriously, Into dragons. -_-

Godfrey was about to be lulled to sleep by the sound of Josh breathing in the other bed when he unexpectedly thought about Voldemort.
Justus is up late in bed with a cigarette, curtains closed, looking at pictures of Devlin.
Devlin is sound asleep, curled around a small pink stuffed bunny.
Phoenix is waiting for the other boys to fall asleep so he can slip out and into Cillian's dorm.
Harry is spending an uncomfortable night next to Gilderoy, unable to sleep.
Xenophilius is dreaming of exploring a lost world inhabited solely by Snorkacks.
Ivanna is spending another night alone with a late night tv-dinner.
Micheal is having a nightmare.
Samuel is eating pre-packaged cookies and watching a cheesy horror flick
Rowle can't sleep and is glaring at a sketch of Hermione

Dame is curled up in bed with Virgo, trying to study.
Clay is running through the woods, trying to track the thestrals even though he can't see them.
Abygale is busily sewing a new set of black robes.
Sirius is looking through old school pictures and drinking a beer.
Rodolphus is watching the sun set from the kitchen window, frowning, but not because he's doing the dishes.
Mulciber is feeding Jasper scraps from his plate.
Wilkes is sitting by himself watching porn with a projector.
Rabastan is attempting to chew through his straight jacket before the nurse comes back.

Virgo is feeling thankful that his status as a teacher allows him to bring Dame home at night during the week.
Ginny is sneaking into Claire's yard with James to look for bills in her trash.
Neville is doing research online for tomorrow's classes.
Gilderoy is spending an uneasy night facing away from Harry on the bed, on the verge of tears but not certain why.
Samantha is typing an e-mail to Reg wishing him luck at his show even though she knows he's already playing.
Lily Luna is carving "Lily L Livingstone" into her bedpost with a paperclip.
Percy has given up on his report and has instead taken to pacing the kitchen.
Evan is sitting in the yard of his "foster family" looking at the stars and wondering what Wilkes is doing.
Alex and Monday are enjoying partially raw rabbit while Tezz munches on a still wriggling fish.

Marius is eating a pint of ice cream and watching television.
Claire is relaxing in her bathtub and thinking about the time she managed to get Remus to sneak into a hot tub when they were seventeen.
Drake wants to worry about her grades, but is having too much fun.
Drusilla is wondering if Draco is ever going to shut up and get out of the damned bathroom.
Albus Severus is passed out in his dorm bed with Pink still blaring in his headphones.
Lee Jordan is working on remixing a few songs for his next party.

Godfrey is longing to spend a weekend learning spells from Voldemort and just getting away from school.
Harry added a bit more 'Irish' to his morning coffee, but poured it out and used his meditation/touch techniques to de-stress instead.
Xenophilus is observing Gilderoy from the bedroom doorway.
Phoenix is checking his appearance in the mirror, going for the 'underprivileged orphan' look before heading out to stalk/woo Josh.
Ivanna is all dressed up at a bar, but remains alone and awkward looking, having gone out by herself.
Justus is prowling around the castle with Devlin, trying to stalk and scare students who are out past curfew.

Jamie is passing notes to Clay, trying to hatch a decent plan as to how to spend their weekend.
Rose and Scorpius are texting each other in Charms, doing the same.
Virgo is following Snape down the corridor, trying to convince him to take some Dreamless Sleep potion if he continues to have nightmares.
Harry is watching the clock in his office, eager to finish his paperwork so he can meet Albus Severus at the Hogsmeade station to bring him home for the weekend.

Dung is taking his girlfriend out for shopping, and attempting to convince her to buy a maid's uniform.
Voldemort is throwing out his breakfast before Mulciber has a chance to force him to eat it.
