Physical description: Eli is a tall and sturdy young man, he stands 5'10, has broad shoulders and a thick frame. Due to the physical nature of his job, Eli is fairly muscular. He has reddish brown hair that falls in a shaggy mess to his shoulders, lightly weathered tan skin and dark green eyes. Eli's palms are calloused and all of him is usually covered in a thin coating of dust and stray dog hairs.
When it comes to clothes Eli sticks to neutral tones and fabrics that can handle the weather and a bit of wear and tear, this includes tough leather gloves and a variety of hats and bandannas to keep the elements from getting to him too badly.
History/Backstory: Eli grew up on a small farm on the very outskirts of Vargash, as a young boy he spent most of his time helping around the house; listening to his father's and grandfather's stories and playing with the dogs that the family bred. Though he was always kept home where it was safe, he longed to travel and see what lay beyond the city limits. There built within him a growing desire to tangle with the wild creatures of the wasteland like his father had.
At Thirteen Eli received the hound dog puppy Kell as pick of that years litter and the two became a neigh inseparable pair. His parents wonder if this is just typical of a boy and his dog or if Eli has some sort of animal empathy. Eli spent most of his free time playing and training with Kell as well as venturing further and further into dangerous territory.
At fifteen his father took both Eli and Kell out on their first hunting trip.
Today Eli is a professional exotics hunter, he tracks down and kills the large lizards, big cats and other predators that roam the wastelands. He hunts them in order to trade their hides and pelts to the rich or merchants who use them for making other objects. The meat is usually consumed by himself and Kell ; though on occasion it is traded to wandering tribes or nearby oasis communities. Kell accompanies him on all his hunts and the old hunting dog has proved his worth many a time.
Eli travels a lot for his work, this often depends on how far he needs to go to find what is currently most desired or is paying best. He always returns to his small house on family land in Vargash though, conveniently the biggest trading area and the easiest place for him to sell his wares.
