I'm am soooo excited! I've spent the past two weeks spending hours at a time searching for mine and hubby's very first puppy! Since we live in military housing they need to be 25lbs or less. Also, I'm allergic to the long haired breeds so our options were limited. Not to mention not wanting anything super cutesy foo-foo. It took lots of time, headaches and countless searches to through about every avenue possible. We finally found THE ONE! She is a lovely chihuahua puppy and aprox. 10-11weeks old. I'm driving out to Seattle early tomorrow morning to pick her up. We're both very excited. Pics soon to come. mrgreen

Heehee I saw her! She's adorable =3

And I LOVE your hairdo, it's gorgeous. And you have freckles correct? I've never noticed before.

And the garden looks good =] I'm just not a dirt visible person 0_o We have this type of plant in florida that grows near the ground and is greenish and yellowish. I think it's called potato vines or something. I'll have to check it out ^^

Lately I've had a lot on my mind. Mostly since another huge change is going to be happening in my life again soon. In early July Ray and I will get to start looking at orders to pick where we want him to get stationed next. I'm excited and well, anxious. Although we were talking about it yesterday and I found something out. We will actually be moving in April time next year; not July. Shocker! I guess I was just so convinced it would be July time of next year that it caught me by surprise. Don't get me wrong, I really want out of here. WA is beautiful yet depressing. I like my friends but I want out of here.

Also, I'm anxious to find out if they will give Ray time off from work. We're trying to plan a trip. I have a friend in NY getting married and I want to make a vacation out of it. One weekend in NY and a week back home in Michigan. It will be our last change at a trip and to see our families before we move again. So I'm really hoping his leave request gets approved.

Aside from that I've just been working, hanging out with friends and really enjoying the puppy. She's super cute. She can bark now! It's just adorable.

I had a really nice 4th of July this year. I was really tired, but Ray got me up and moving. He's so sweet. He wanted to make sure I had fun that day. So he made me chug and AMP. xd The took me to see the new Ice Age movie. I loved it!!! It was just as good as the last two. After we went down to the fair in town and played carnival games, rode some crazy rides and ate corn dogs. We each won a stuffed animal. He got a monkey and I got a ladybug. Later we walked back to the car and sat on the roof to watch the fireworks.

Pixie is getting a little bigger. We took her to the vet and she's gained a pound. So now she weighs just a little over 2lbs. Her ears stand up now too. So cute! heart

Earlier in the day I received a very sad phone call. My cockatiel Vittorio passed away this morning. If only he would have lived a few weeks longer since I was going to be back home the first week of August. I wanted to see him again so badly. It broke my heart leaving him behind with my dad. The stress of a cross-country move would have been too much on him though. I just wish I could have seen him one last time... RIP Vitto Bird...you will be missed.

Aww I'm sorry *hugs* pets will always be missed...

On a happier note~
Pixie is so cute X3 And you and Ray have very pretty eyes ;D

Aww...thank you Karu. *hugs back*
Pixie is my precious one. Her love, hugs from Ray and pistl's musics cheered me up. I'm alright now. On an up note, I got my hair finished today. Finally! It took over 4 months. All the blond streaks got colored over today since I'm not able to color them the silver that I want. It just doesn't exist around here and I'm not making the 2-3 hour drive to Seattle just for silver streaks. xd Nor was I willing to settle for the silver they did have since we put it on a test piece and it turned a dull weird gray color. Oh! I got the mini top hat that I ordered today. It's super cute. ALSO...I'm meeting Ray on base soon to look at orders and see where we will be moving around April time next year. WOO EXCITED!!!

The red really brings out your eyes =D
and your new mini top hat is SO CUTE 3nodding

and since it's now Saturday, do you guys have any sprinkle of idea where you guys are going to be stationed next?
PostPosted: Sun Jul 12, 2009 7:01 pm

Thank you so much! I love the color and adore my mini hat. ^_^
No, we won't know yet where we will be stationed next. We put in for Japan and Hawaii...but we won't know if we were chosen out of this batch for orders till Aug. 8th when we get back from our trip.

Oh my, trip to where?
[reminiscing] oh August, such a lovely month~[/reminiscing]
I'm rooting for Hawaii for you guys ^^ It sounds like a beautiful place and so much fun.
My mom and I met a Coast Guard who's stationed there and he says that the island is small but you can do everything on it. If you're new you'll just get this weird feeling of being trapped in the middle of the ocean (which, technically, is very true).
PostPosted: Mon Jul 13, 2009 1:46 pm

Yeah, well we live on an island already anyways so it shouldn't be that strange of a feeling to me. Only difference here is it's close to the mainland and there's a bridge that we can use to get off the island. Also, the weather is downright depressing here! >.< We'll be very happy going to either place.

Oh! I was going to put it in the Hiatus thread when it got closer to time. We leave here July 29th for New York. I'm standing in my friend's wedding out there. From there, we'll leave for Michigan to visit family for a week. We'll be flying back home Aug. 8th.

Oh okie dok!
=]
I'm sure you'll have great fun!
Traveling is always stressful (even I know that, and I don't even go anywhere much) but there's always a point to traveling.
Be sure to take lots of pictures!

What's your version of depressing weather?
