Loki slipped through the forest to a clearing where heard some rustling, being cautious, he slipped as silently as he could through the dense brush to see what was out there.

Grazing quietly, and alone, Annora savored the flavor of the sweet, fresh grass. The blades were kissed ever so gently by the mornings drops of dew, making the meal all the more enjoyable. Still, as relaxed as she was, she still maintained her guard. Predators could spring from the brush at any moment.
Hearing the crackling of sticks and leaves, all though it was ever so faint, She lifted her head. Her meal forgotten, Annora's large eyes scanned the area for any signs of danger... her entire body poised to run, or defend herself, if she had to.

Loki watched the female eat, trying not to make his presence obvious, but of course those pesky twigs that make noise were always under his feet. He saw her head come up and figured he'd better make himself known before she freaked out, he stepped out of the bushes "Hi there, I'm Loki"

 Capricorn made her way through the forest her ears flicking lightly listening closely to her surroundings. She was on alert, who knew what lurked in these woods. Here ears shifted hearing a voice close by. Her head turned in the direction of the sound and she found herself moving in that direction. She keep her distant as she watched them from the trees.

Loki's ears twitched back towards the trees as he stood admiring her lovely wings. He had never seen anything like them, but something told him to snap out of it, he could never tell when he was sensing danger or being paranoid, he didn't think there was anyone else in the forest, but he could never be sure.

She gave him the slightest of nods in greeting. "Annora." Her ears flicked once more, swearing she had heard something else. "I must admit, you did startle me, Loki. Though, I'm much more relieved to see another Kirin than a predator. Much more."

Capricorn watched them, admiring the other female's wings from afar. She kept quiet, wondering if she should reveal and introduce herself or if she should stay and watch as she had been doing for a while. Her ears flicked once more catching the conversation which was going on.

It's all right." She gave the Kirin equivilent of a smile. "Surprises let us know we're still alive, yes?" She delicately folded her wings at her side. "Thank you."
((I don't think I've seen Loki as an adult, Aya ^^))

Finally after a while of contemplating weather to join them or not she stepped out from behind 'her' tree coming out in the open. "Um...Hello," She spoke softly.

Loki grinned, "I agree, nothing like a nice jolt to remind you you're alive" he turned towards the newcomer, "Hi there!"

Annora turned her head to acknowledge the other female. "Hello." Her smile was warm and welcoming. She had been wandering alone for some time, after becoming separated from her children and mate. Making new friends would be a welcome change. "Would you both care to join me for breakfast? The grass is especially sweet this morning."

Loki nibbles at the grass and looks up with a grin, "That it is, sweetest grass I've ever tasted, and lovely company in which to eat it"

Annora resisted the urge to chuckle as she continued to dine. Instead, she continued nibbling the sweet grass. The young stallion was certanly nice enough, and it was quite enjoyable to have someone to talk to again. "Thank you, Loki. Your words are most kind." She looked over to Capricorn. "Please, feel free to join us."

Capricorn was observing the wings upon the other mare's back. Her ears flicked as that same mare's voice brought her mind back to the 'present'. She took a few moments and then lightly nodded. She moved towards them out of her place among the trees. Since she hatched herself she hadn't really been around other Kirin, so this was a new experience for Capricorn.
