School was out for the summer, for little kids anyway, and so Liam now found himself with time and a younger brother on his hands. Gin had refused to go away to summer camp with the rest of his classmates while claiming he had no friends, his small pleas weighing heavily on the older brother who thought the world of him.
In the end the little boy won out and got his choice to stay at Liam's side (no real loss) but that left the whole issue as to what to do. Gin was much too small for many of the rides at an amusement park and didn't like them anyway, and he would cry if left alone with a babysitter. The only option came as exploring the downtown together while there weren't many people around and they could walk hand in hand.
Their steps lead them towards a certain sushi shop that Liam had visited only once or twice before, both times without his younger brother, and seeing that Gin probably wanted to try something new and exciting this seemed like the place to go into. He paused at the door and pushed it inwards, waiting a few moments for his eyes to adjust against the change in lighting.
"Let's go in Gin, there's sure to be something in here that will interest you."

The day was bright, airy and cheerful a perfect day to get out from the country side and head into the city where one could really stretch there legs. For one thing Xan was about to go up the wall if the two little ferments he had adopted didn't stop their sibling rivarly. It was a constant tug of war with the two, if one wanted something the other couldn't help wanting it too. Like toddlers on a mission to have what the other had.
Both ferms were sitting on the rim of his Stetson as he entered the sushi shop thankful for the repreive of a new scene. "Alright you two, no more bickering for the day. Just chill out at the mansion while I unwind for a bit okay?" He gave them a firm reprimand as he removed his hat setting on the counter next to the Gogo Mansion.
Both ferment move from the hat, Ramen being the more moody of the two while Lamian looked up to Xan expecting his usual praise. With his eyes gone skyward, Xan patted Mia on the top of his head. "Please be good Mia." He pleaded. "I will it's my brother you should worry about. He's so mean to me." He pouted.
Xan smiled not bothering to answer to that. Heading for the more human area of the shop he took a seat near two gentlemen who had entered before him. Always willing to greet new faces he tipped his hat with a hearty, "Howdy."

Liam felt Gin press against his side as a man wearing a cowboy hat approached the brothers and he gave the small head a reassuring pat, despite the fact he was feeling nervous as well. The Halifax pair didn't socialize much outside of their school, never leaving home to do things unless there weren't going to be many people around, so having a stranger come straight over and address them in a friendly manner was a bit unnerving. Not really frightening but none the less unnerving.
"Good afternoon."
The older brother bowed his head politely and tipped Gin's down as well with his hand that had remained atop his hair. The little boy protested slightly with a small squeak though it didn't last long.
"Ah...we..."
He had no idea what to say, being talkative about things he didn't know wasn't Liam's strong suit.
