 Tendaji was wondering around in the grass a little ways from where the family had decided to stop for midday. His mom and Jaka were watching his siblings play in the shade of the lone tree that they were resting under, he could see Korrin napping and he assumed that Udo was up in the tree branches somewhere so Ten figured it would be a great time to search for new items for his treasure pouch. Huni had just finished it in time for the family trip and already there were a few pieces in it*. As he started to search the ground for feathers, stones, wood, or really anything that caught his fancy, he wandered farther and farther from his family. The tall grass hid his movements from his folks on the ground, he didn't even realize that he was quite a distance away he was that caught up in looking for little treasures.
((*rp never actually got done, i started it then ferrets got hacked, but i figured it wouldnt hurt to play like he has his little leather pouch/necklace thing.))

Udo want also taking his time to relax with the family, for once he wasn't going to wander around even more. Normally he would spend these days to go out and try to find his sister but he was trying to rest and get some sleep, he was going to try to do that every now and again but right now he was getting woken up by his mother who was looking for Udo's adoptive brother. "Alright Siti, I'll find him."
He grumbled groggily before pushing himself up and wandering into the grasses following his brother's trail. He stuck out in the grass but he wasn't worried he knew that when it came down it no one would attack him. he was pretty big. But where was that little guy.
He soon could smell the litee male, taking his time he lowered himself to the ground and snuck up behind his brother before pouncing him. "Where do you think your going hm?" He asked pulling the cub closer to himself sitting back on his haunches looking down at the cub. "Mom wanted to know where you were?" He asked nipping at the cub's ears.

Ten was so focused on a roundish piece of wood that he didn't even here someone come up behind him. When that someone pounced on him he let out a yelp of surprise that quickly turned into a playful growl when he saw that it was Udo. "I wasn't scared" He said quickly trying to cover up his statement. "And I wasn't goin' no where Udo, just wonderin'" he said as he was pulled closer to the shelter of Udo's body. He tried to act all nonchalant as he placed his paw over the small piece of wood, he had a half formed idea for a decoration and didn't want Udo asking about it, most of the little trinkets he collected on this trip were half formed ideas.
"Its not like I wondered far..." Ten trailed off when he finally looked around and saw the tree in the distance. Udo had started to n** at his ears by the time Ten had made this revelation, "Oops" he said sheepishly "I guess I should pay more attention every now and then."

Udo looked at his brother and chuckled softly before sitting back on his haunches more. "Yeah right. I doubt that you weren't scared." He teased running his tongue along his brother's forehead, making sure to mess up the mini mane his brother had going on. He wasn't going to say anything he wanted to see if his brother noticed how far he was going. he chuckled quietly not going to say anything wrong away.
"Well, mom was a little upset that you weren't around." He teased again nipping at the cub's ear. "You're lucky I told mom that I'd find you. She would have been more mad if she found you." He let go of his brother before flicking the hair out of his eyes and relaxing. "So why are you all the way out here anyway?" He asked with a snort.

Ten made a face at Udo for both the teasing and the grooming, "Aww come on Udo leave a guy some pride." he said as he squirmed from his grasp but didn't move to far away. The realization that he didn't even hear Udo come up behind him made Ten remember that they weren't home and instead of Udo it could very well have been some one not so nice.
At the mention of Siti being upset Ten hung his head "Didn't mean too. Kinda wasn't paying attention." As Udo started to n** at his ears again Ten shrugged "Thanks by the way, mom would have lectured me the whole way back." He made a sheepish face because he knew he would have deserved the lecture.
"I was kinda looking for little stuff to take back with me." He moved his paw and pushed the wooded roundish circle into the light. It was maybe 2 inches around with a off center hole in it, light in color like it had been sun bleached there were no visible wood grains and all the edges were smooth like they had been sanded to a satin finish. "Stuff like this. Was kinda thinking it would look really cool as a necklace for one of the girls or mom."

Udo'tau couldn't help but to burst out into a deep laugh. Not in a mean way but he couldn't help it. He reached out a paw messing with his brother's tuff once more. "I think your a little too young for that." He teased with a small wink before sitting back on his haunches. He kind of liked having a little brother to tease every now and again. He never had one before. It was something else. He was glad however that his brother really didn't say anything that really ticked him off. He made sure to make it clear that he was teasing.
"It's alright little bro." He chuckled softly before watching his brother closely. "Its no problem. Its what brothers are for right?" He asked with a small smile chuckling softly. "Korrin used to bail me out like that some times." He grinned before flicking his hair out of eyes.
He then watched the little trinkets that his brother filicked around. He blinked a few times at it and a smile grew on his face then smiled. "Wow Ten, that is pretty cool." He chuckled as he stuck out a nail, picking it up carefully as he looked at it. "This is very amazing. I'm pretty sure mom would like it." He grinned thinking about the shell that he found and gave to Siti, she was still wearing it too!

Once more Tendaji made a face at Udo for the too young comment. "An't too young." He muttered under his breath knowing full well that Udo was just messing around. At the mention of Udo needing to be bailed out by Korrin his ears pricked up and as all little kids do he started to ask questions, "Really? When? What you do? How did he save your tail?"
When Udo mentioned that Siti would like the necklace idea Ten smiled proudly. Normally he thinks of his trinkets and ideas as silly but hearing his brother praise him for this idea really made him happy, wonder if he would like the think I'm thinking of for him? he thought to himself as he thought of the black stone, with gray streaks in it that was roundish on top but curved down into a point on bottom with a small hole in the big part. "Yeah but I don't want it to get in the way of her shell so I think if I can get Huni to teach me I'll give it to one of the girls. Mom's shell is too pretty for me to give her somethin that might block it."
((the black stone is kinda like a black half of a yin-yang))

Udo chuckled softly, he didn't mind when his little brothers and sisters ask him questions. He kinda liked it some times, he liked sharing his child hood with his siblings trying to keep them out of trouble. He chuckled again when the questions came pooring out. He sat back on his haunches thinking. "Well for sure one thing that I remembered was when I wandered away from home too long, When we lived in the rougelands, and I was lost I have to admit night was coming too..." He wasn't that sure if his siblings knew of his fear of the dark, he hid it very well. If they did he didn't mind, he wasn't afraid to show his fears. "And well he ame up to me and told me that mom was mad but he told her that they were playing hide and seek and that I was probably still hiding"
He chuckled at the idea looking down at his brother. He loved Korrin at that moment, that was when he was starting to get closer to the family. Now he was like family, he really felt like he was blood related to some of them. Well he did kind of look like Siti and he was half lion, if he really wanted to he could pass for it. He looked at ten and smiled as he looked at it. "Its a really nice stone. It could go both ways male or female." He chuckled again nosing it slightly before rubbing his brother's mane.

Tendaji listened as Udo described the time he got lost and how Korrin save his tail from a chewing out, with great attention. "Wonder what we should tell mom cuz I don't think a game of Hide and Seek would work." he asked as he shifted from paw to paw.
When Udo was done examining the trinket Ten got his pouch open and with the pouch to the ground and his butt in the air he used his paw to nudge it into the leather holder. Ten got up and quickly tightened the pouch so none of the other little stones and such that he had picked up came falling out. "I think I'll just have to wait and see how it turns out before I think of giving it to someone."

Udo'Tau chuckled softly moving closer to his brother and sitting back on his haunches and shrugged. "Yeah your right I don't think hide and seek would be a good excuse." He looked down at his paws and lifted one up, licking it to smooth out some of the hair on it. He looked down at him then chuckled. "I could say that you were close but you were exploring a hole that you found, and you couldn't hear her." He smirked ruffling his brothers hair before nodding. "Anything for my little bro." He spent a lot of time with Ten, he was really thinking he should spend more time with the others too. Ah he was going to get to it they were on vacation and all. Well semi vacation but still he was with his siblings and he could spend some time with all of them.
He watched his brother scoot all of the trinkets into the pouch before he grinned. "Thats a lot of really cool things you have in there. I should make one of those for myself." He winked at his brother before sitting back on his haunches. "So bro before we head back do you want to do anything?" He asked curiously. Wanting to make sure his brother didn't want to do anything else before they headed back.

Ten thought for a moment, exploring a hole? "Well it does sound like something I would do" He said as Udo once more ruffled his hair. Once Udo was done messing with Tendaji's sudo-mane he took his own paw and did his best to straighten it but only made it worse.
At the mention of the cool little trinkets in his pouch Ten gave a embarrassed shrug and said "Huni really helped me out when he made this, I'm glad it got done before we took this trip. I'm sure he would make you one too if you asked." Not sure if Udo was teasing him or not, the wink seemed to mean that he was joking but Ten wasnt sure but he did know it was not a mean teasing if it was.
When Udo'Tau asked if there was anything he wanted to do Tendaji had to think a moment. While he was thinking he watched as the clouds raced across the sky, at the thought of the sky Ten just got a idea. "Um, yeah actually but we can't until the sun goes down. I wanted to learn more about the stars since they are so cool looking. Besides I think mom would like us to get back, I don't think she wanted to stop for the day quite yet."
After a moment more of thought and getting his bearings Ten suddenly starts racing off to the tree in the distance where the family was waiting. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" He called out over his shoulder.

Udo chuckled at his brother before grinning. "I'm just that good Aren't I?" He chuckled softly a smile growing on his lips then flicking his tail behind him. He chuckled at his brother trying to fix his mane, he couldn't help it, he remembered when he was that little and
Udo looked at him and smiled before flicking the hair out of his eyes once more then shrugged. "When we get back to the pride I'll talk to him." He flashed a grin toward the cub. "I might get something done, hey you should spend some more time with him and learn more, you really are good at this Ten, It would be good if you could do that instead of spending your life as something simple." He chuckled softly before nipping athis brother's ears.
Then he brother talked about spending time out when the sun was down, looking at the stars. He froze for a moment. He wasn't sure if he could say yes to his brother, but he knew he couldn't say no. "Well I'd have to say you should talk to Korrin, he might be more interested about it, but If you really want me too..." His voice trailed before he looked at the cub, glad that he was pretty much changing the top. "HAHA! Your gonna be that egg." He teased as he took off after the cub, he was going to make sure that the cub won... That was just the way he was.

"I like doing this and I thing Huni will accept me as his apprentice I just have to ask him when we get back. I keep finding things that spark my imagination and I itch to make it but I don't have the skills for it, which frustrates me." Ten said when Udo nipped his ears, talking about learning more about being a crafter.
Tendaji didn't even notice Udo's pause before answering Ten's request for stargazing. "Ok I'm sure Korrin would like too and maybe, Jaka... Papa... would too." Ten still had some problems will calling his stepfather papa, he felt that he should call him that and for the most part does but every now and then Ten calls him nickname.
As Ten raced across the grass he heard Udo laugh and say that he was going to win but Ten just yelled back "I don't think so, I'm lighter so I can go faster." he said teasing his older and bigger brother. The tree where the rest were was coming up fast and before he knew it he ran into Lilla. Tripping over his sister Ten went sprawling, laughing his head off as he rolled, coming to a stop at Siti's paws, "Hi Mama!"
