 The tome before you belongs to Sizzla and Rhea. There is a seal surrounding the book, one that allows you to leaf through the pages but prevents you from adding anything. The enchantment is strong and cannot be broken so easily, if at all. So just sit back and enjoy the Tall Tale that is unfolding before you. You can visit the Stationery Store to find out how you can write your own Tall Tale.

Ok, I've only got a few rules for this journal...
1. If you are a Tall Tale owner, Huni Pi or Syrie, you MAY post here. Otherwise, please PM me for permission. I do not want random stupid posts in my journal. They will be deleted.
2. Please, use proper grammar and spelling if you're going to post here. I'm a**l about it, and as an editor, I'm super-picky about grammar and spelling. I don't understand all that talk with numbers that want to be letters and whatnot, so let's just keep it out of here. We're all intelligent, right?
3. I'm not particular about you PMing me before posting gifts and such. I like having them in my journals, so you can just post them wherever they fall. Just post them in-character please.
4. This journal will likely be a place where Rhea shares her thoughts, and it will also contain RP from the main thread. I like to keep everything in one place, so I can see what's gone on between characters and such. Be aware of this.

 "Why does my head ache?"

Usually Elysia would stay away from a place like that, but this time, she felt something pulling her toward the doorway. Curiosity took over, and she walked swiftly to the door, poking her head through the gap between the door and the frame. The room was dark, and she couldn't really make out any of the details of the room.
Feeling the pull again, she slowly put one foot through the door, then another, cautiously moving inside the Study. Her eyes eventually adjusted to the dim light, and she noticed that it was just an old, seemingly unused room.The pull would grow stronger the closer Elysia got to the Study, and it doesn't stop until she is completely inside. The room is a stark contrast to the shop, dark, and dusty and the air smelled stale. The door closed swiftly, trapping her within the confines of the room.
It was the Tome's turn to draw her attention as it flipped open with words printed upon the delicate pages.
"Why does my head ache?" Hearing the door close quickly behind her, Elysia turned to tug on the handles. Curiosity killed the cat, they say, and Elysia couldn't help but think she was doomed. Why would a room lock her in?! She banged on the door a bit, hoping someone would hear her, but to no avail. The door didn't open, and no one came to save her from the mysterious room.
She sighed and turned back toward the room, glancing around. A sneeze escaped her mouth. She was allergic to dust, and this place seemed especially dust-covered. It was then that she noticed a large book, sitting atop a small writing table. The book hadn't been open when she first entered the room, but now it was, it's parchment a bit yellowed with age.
She walked over to it, feeling an intense pull on her body. Even if she hadn't wanted to look at the book, the eerie presence in the room would have made her.
She read the single line that was printed upon the right-hand page of the book, and suddenly, a shooting pain went through her head, from temple to temple. She winced from the awful aching, and as suddenly as it had come, the headache faded away. Elysia had been getting these headaches for a few months now, and had found no doctor to tell her what was wrong with her. Reading the Tome had sparked something in her mind, and suddenly, she knew where the pains had been coming from. This was the reason. Somehow they were connected to this book...It was like the Tome could read her mind...
She picked up a pen that had been lying next to the book, and in a shaky hand, began to answer the book's question. It was what she had hoped for. At least she didn't have a strange medical condition, she thought to herself as the pen touched the parchment.It's all in your mind...Just a figment of your imagination. As soon as the pen is lifted from the Tome, the pages began to rustle together, back and forth, back and forth. The light began to flicker on and off, on and off, almost akin to a strobe light. There was a great sense of weightlessness in the room as everything began to float in mid-air. The random bits and bobs found within the Study started to swirl around Elysia. And in the blink of an eye, gravity returned and everything fell down. Nothing seemed to be broken but the silence as a soft giggle suddenly sounded. On the writing table was a little girl holding a Tome the same hue as the gem on her forehead.

Her advantage with the group's acquisition of power is the freedom to exercise her cruel streak. Her bond in the Fleet was Dr. Robert Conners. They had a somewhat volatile relationship: sometimes they got along splendidly, sometimes not so well. Conners gave her considerable freedom to do as she pleased. Her decision to transfer to Gaia was the result of the group's consensus, and she was more for the idea than against it. She has been classed as a medium security risk by the Fleet. She bears no apparent ill will towards the Fleet, but her participation in the group is worrisome. She has undergone medium to moderate memory erasure to remove knowledge of Fleet locations and several personnel. She may remember officers and feien she met previously in the Fleet, she may not. Her memories of his broodmates remain mostly intact, though they may be hazy in spots.

Age: 24! So, so old!
Race: 1/2 Human, 1/2 Fae
Occupation: Mad scientist/publisher/editor/graphic designer
Appearance: Elysia is of medium height and build, with long, silver hair and striking blue eyes. Her hair used to be tied into dreadlocks, but after a year of time in Gaia, she's finally decided to give them up. She's nearsighted, and usually wears contacts, but she'll wear her glasses on some occasions. When you look at her wardrobe, one word comes to mind: comfort. She loves her hoodies and pajama pants, and dislikes anything stuffy or buttoned to the top.
Distinguishing features: Elysia has light blue fairy wings on her back, from her 1/2 fae roots. She also has a purple and black swirl tattoo on her shoulder that is surprisingly similar to the tattoos on Rhea's back. Perhaps these two were meant to find each other??
Personality: In Gaia, Sizzla is an entrepreneur of sorts, helping to start up a new Gaian magazine...But that's only her day job, and well, it's just not that exciting. She has also become a mad scientist of sorts, working at a secret lab in the forests behind her beachhouse in Gambino. She's been a major player in creating a new species of The Furies, children of Chaos, and is now finding good homes for her 'children'.
She also has some other talents that she's not very open about, and only uses for personal means. She has some psychic ability, and can use telepathy with anyone. She can also predict some future events, but most of the time, she tries to ignore her power, convincing herself that her predictions are all coincidences.
She's generally happy and outgoing, trying to make sure that everyone she knows is happy. In this sense, she's quite altruistic. Events throughout Elysia's life have led her to have an open mind about most all things, and she has examined her life at many points, wanting to make sure that she's never doing something that makes her unhappy. Though she may be a little on the emotional side, (she's a Scorpio) she's smart and a good communicator.
Likes: purples, blues, sparkly things, music, driving, spring and fall, the smell of chlorine...
Dislikes: People who laugh innappropriately, snorting laughs, bad drivers, humidity.
Hobbies: Photography, music...listening to it that is, reading books, designing graphics
Favorite People: Lil Buddha, Eroy, Xanil, Suiyuko, Caroline, Lu
History: Elysia woke up on Gambino Beach almost three years ago, not remembering anything that had happened before. Though coping with the amnesia was difficult to overcome, she has relished her new life on Gaia, and wouldn't trade it for the world.

11.07.05: Rhea is awakened from the Tome, and meets Ning, a Fandangle who is uncomfortable with her incessant questions.
11.08.05: Rhea goes to the Halloween festival with Elysia, and meets two new friends, Angelus and Chailyn.
11.09.05: Heading back to the Stationary Shop for the first time since Rhea's arrival, Elysia and Rhea meet Jiro and his guardian, Aikya.

 I met Angelus at the Halloween festival, and he seems to be really nice. He answered all of my questions, and even offered to take me flying sometime. I got a feather from one of his wings, and I think I want to wrap it in my hair. I like him already!
He's a very polite boy, and says he's a Fallen Angel. Perhaps one day I can introduce him to Amora and Lilith. He seemed interested when I spoke of them.
 I met Chai at the Halloween festival too. She's kind of quiet, but very nice to be around. I'd like to learn more about her.
She's okay with me...I didn't get to talk to her as much as Rhea did.
 Jiro has very pretty hair, and wings coming off of his ears! He's waaay quieter than I am, but that's okay. Seems like I may be able to learn something from him.
I hope Rhea brings a polite boy like this home when she's a teenager. He's a real doll from what I've seen so far.
 Sylvester and I played hide-and-seek at the Shop when I visited. He's very tall, and he likes some things that I like too. He didn't mind me asking questions, and he was the first person I got to use my telepathy on! Good thing he didn't mind the invasion.
Sylvester seems like a really sweet kid. He and Rhea had a great time together, and I got to meet his guardian Smerdle, who is a cool cat as well. Maybe we'll hang out again sometime. We're both homebodies, so we'll see how that goes...
 I like Ame. He's got pretty feathers like Angelus, but they're much lighter in color. He seems interested in swimming, so I hope Mom can arrange for him to come over sometime. He's immortal, and I think that's amazing. I hope he makes the best of his life.
His guardian kinda pawned him off on Talon when Rhea and I went to the shop. He's got an interesting language that I cannot understand, but it sounds pleasant nevertheless.
 Well, our first meeing was a bit rough: one minute, we were friends, the next minute, she looked like she was going to rip my head off. Now that I know she has Chaos inside of her, I know better than to do things that are out of the ordinary to Tiwaz. She's probably one of my closest friends though, and I think she's great.
Whoa! Scary girl! I certainly wasn't expecting to hear all the hissing and anger coming from this one...It's good that Rhea's so open-minded about her friends...

(from L to R)Ari Fionn Marvel-Rose:Ari is Sizzla and her good friend, Caroline's adopted baby from the Maban adoption agency. He is 1/2 fae, 1/2 seraph, and Sizzla absolutely adores him. He loves all things soft and fuzzy, and he's a generally sweet and happy baby. When his mother Ella was pregnant, the doctor told her that she'd be having a girl. It was a surprise to all of us when little boy popped out, but we love him just the same.Kappa Maki: Kappa is the GoGo that Sizzla met after she left her extra sushi out on the counter all night. He fermented into a sushicreature, and then grew into a handsome youth, and finally, an adult. These days, Kappa has become human-size, and he's now making plans to start a new life with Ichigo, and learn how to be a DJ.Amora Marvel: Amora was Sizzla's first adopted child. Amora is a Serafina, an angel brought to Gaia. She lives in the Serafina mansion, and Sizzla goes to visit every once in awhile. Her powers are mostly sound-based, as she can create walls of sonic energy blasts, and whirlwinds of sound that can deafen. She can also use her sonic powers for healing.Lilith Marvel: Lilith is Amora's sister. She was born a Serafina like her sister, but upon growing into a child, she transformed into a Demonia, the rival to the Serafina. Lilith was an obnoxious child, but is now learning that it's not always best to be flapping your jaw around. Her powers typify a shadowdancer, and as the days go by, she's learning how to use her powers more efficiently.Procyon Marvel: Procyon is a Silva Regia Fey, a child who was trapped in a stained glass window for many years, until Sizzla lifted the curse that was upon her. She and Sizzla are Kithain (blood related), and Sizzla had to give part of herself for Procyon to be awakened once again. This Fey is a specialist in thievery, and will only become more adept with age.Koniro: Koniro is a demoness that followed Sizzla home one night. She thought that Sizzla would be a fine guardian, and one who would help her find her host, and a new body. Koniro took on the body of a young girl named Ayumi, who dreamed of being a geisha. Now, the two live one life...the one Koniro is now running.Labradorite: Labradorite (Labbie) is a Shadow Fiend, a soul trapped inside a stone. So far, Labbie hasn't been very vocal about her feelings, but ever since Rhea's come, strange things are happening with Labbie. Could it be that the two of them know each other somehow?

From Angelus  ^The feather now wrapped up at the end of a small braid in Rhea's hair. She loves this feather, and appreciates this kind gift from Angelus.  ^A Christmas gift from Angelus From Ti  ^Tiwaz gave me this bracelet, and I wear it on my left wrist all the time! The Playroom Rhea took some online personality quizzes, and it turns out, her spirit animals are the eagle and the owl. So, I bought her some plushies of them. Hopefully she can find the traits in them that make her who she is: The EagleAdventure is your first, middle, and last name.
