How do you rank yourself in your immediate area/arcade. Among your friends/rivals and such.
Among my friends. I rank myself as either the best or second best of my group. Same goes for the arcades in the same town that I live in.
If I go to the next town over. My skill doesn't count for s**t. I can AA 7s and 8s but they can AA near AAA 10s and Nonstops and such.

Back in Oregon, I was only tied with one person for best in the state, and that was debatable since we were never able to play each other.
Socal seems to have too few people who give a s**t enough to rank each other, including myself.

I'm probably one of the better players, but since Reflex (SO HOT OMFG) sometimes play at the arcade I go to I can never say I'm "the best". :[

The other elite players in my area are all under my apprenticeship.
But Travis/Vacaville area, I am one of the top players. If I get closer to Vallejo, I get my a** handed to me.

I suck. Michigan has a pretty big ITG community and we have lots of hardcores for DDR and ITG. (Not to mention admstyles coming out of "retirement".)
I mean here I am trying to beat Max 300 on Heavy and failing, where the dude on the ITG machine next to me is like quading songs left and right. (okay that's an exaggeration.)
But I did finally beat My Favorite Game on expert...not sure how, and here I thought I was good at streams.

XIII your sig reminds me that I need to re-purchase Bioshock now that they were finally smart enough to realize that the PS3 version doesn't need to be $60.

Mm.....I can say i'm like, EXACTLY in the middle.
There are a few people that can AAA some 10 footers, a couple that can go up to 9, a few that are good but have to use the bar for everything, and a few that just plain suck.
I don't use the bar, and can A most songs up to 9 feet, so I'd say I'm in the middle.

Well I don't hate using the bar. I use it when attempt new songs or hard songs. I mean, there's this one girl that comes all the time, and shes really good, but she NEVER lets go of it. >___>
