Use it wisely.
The Elemental Boarding School is a place for students with extraordinary powers to go and be trained to leash their unruly abilities by experienced professors. The school is an old castle filled with magic. It has secrets of dark and light, many yet to be discovered. Along the great journey to control their powers, the teens will meet friends, make enemies and create relationships. They may learn about their ancestors' past and the history behind their powers. Each student will be assigned an adviser who will watch over them and help them with their troubles (may they be with their powers or with personal issues).
The School:
Herst Castle sits on a small peninsula that juts out into Herst Lake (the upper lake). To the east lies the City of Herst, the only city in the valley. Looking out from one of the many eastern balconies will provide you with a beautiful view of the valley below, with the City of Herst and further, Arian Lake. You will notice that Herst Valley is surrounded by tall, snow-peaked mountains with thick, fresh forests running down on all sides. If you wander around the property of Herst Castle, you may find yourself in the colorful gardens to the north edge of Elemental Boarding School. It is said that many of the plants comes alive at night to protect the castle from intruders. Outside the castle walls are plenty of places for a teenager to explore, though beware - some places can be dangerous. On a warm day - or even a chilly one, the swimming pond is the perfect place to go. Located North of the castle, up the hillside paths, it is heated by underground geyers, warm in the winter, and just right in the summer.Inside the school, there are more things to do on a rainy day besides class. The meals are held in the grand dining hall where you can always find a fire blazing in the hearth in the evening. Common places to hang out are the sitting rooms, two of which are on the first floor, and one in between the girl's and boy's dorms. Each sitting room faces the east, with a balcony overlooking the valley, and comfy couches and armchairs, tables and sometimes games. If you go there in the evening, these rooms will always have a fire crackling in the hearth. The student quarters on the second floor are where you will be staying, your room fitted with a bed, a small table and chairs, a fireplace and a small bathroom. - Students must always be polite and respectful toward the headmasters.
- Use the correct 'lingo' when possible. This means instead of saying 'sorry', say 'forgive me' or 'excuse me' or 'I did a dishonorable thing', etc.
- Be serious. Students can joke around, but when the time is needed, do what you should.
- Make your character have a life. Don't just say: cool, fun, nice, smart.
Say: ____ is a very nice young man who respects his fellow friends. He's very intelligent and enjoys... etc. Make them realistic, not boring.
- DO NOT BE INACTIVE (please)
- I repeat, do not be inactive.

When her family was caught escaping, they separated, without the warriors knowing, and her parent's told her they would meet her by the lake. Katsura arrived there and waited for days, but they never showed up. When she stumbled upon The City of Herst, she was taken in by an old woman and then sent here to master her power.

She isn't shy, she just doesn't connect well with people, and given what she's gone through in the past, has stopped trusting people or giving them the benefit of the doubt. But she isn't suspicious or paranoid of people, she'll just believe what she sees and hears, the facts, not the "emotional" properties behind them. Although, Amelia is actually incredibly kind, but that kindness is just no longer directed to humans. But Amelia is polite to people, just a little cold. Her feelings behind them are so strong that these two are 'real' and will only disappear if Amelia dies. They each have their own personality and can speak. Now that Amelia has more control, she has made the birds invisible to all but her. Though, when Amelia's emotions get the better of her, they reappear. Power: Shapeshifting. (Objects, plants, animals. Cannot transform into something that, when standing naturally is taller than he is. i.e. He could not transform into a lamp post, or an elephant, but could transform into a light, or a tiger.)
Personality: Lawrence, or as he prefers to be called, Ren or B, is generally mischievous. He's a definite prankster, who thrives off of seeing other people have bad things happen to them. Well, nothing seriously bad, but it never hurt to laugh as someone had an egg thrown into their face. While B tends to be a jokester, he does know when to be serious and buckle down, and if someone isn't able to take the jokes/pranks he dishes out, usually he'll leave them alone. He's a pretty decent guy who just likes to have fun.

Background: Ren grew up on the wealthier end of the class spectrum. His family is well known, and those who realize that Lawrence is a member of the elite Becker family usually suck up to him. It's because of this that he tries to keep his family matters secretive. Although, if the need arises, he doesn't mind throwing out his name for his own benefit. The Beckers own many companies, and have their own private security and police, it would be a bad idea to cross someone from the family.

Age: 18
Power: Complete control over gravity.
Personality: Tristan is an extremely laid-back, sadistic, happy-go-lucky type of guy. He's always grinning, laughing, and playing with his own special kind of "games."

Background: Tristan's past is rather... Dark. At a very young age, he was consistently beaten by his father, his mother committed suicide, unknowingly, in front of him because she couldn't stand her husband. This drove the adolescent completely insane. Without any knowledge of how he did it, he put so much gravitational pressure on his father that he shattered.
He had to be put in a mental hospital, but this quickly proved to be a wrong choice of lodging for in a matter of a few days, about half the staff was eliminated. Everyone knew it was Tristan causing the deaths, but they had no clue as to how. He was instead sent to a top security prison in a secluded area off in the middle of nowhere.
He was given a proper education and everything.... From a distance... And was sent to a reformation center at the age of 16. There he learned to be not so blood-lusting or maniacal. It worked, but only to a certain extent. Tristan is still scarred with images of the past and still loves to cause destruction and chaos, but no longer kills or inflict too much pain on people.
Two years later, some people working at his reformation center received information about an uncle who wanted to adopt Tristan as his own. His request was filled and his nephew became his son. Instead of taking care of him as a son, though, the man sent him away to a school by the name of Elemental Boarding School. He himself had elemental powers and had attended the school at one point in his life as well. The old man knew it would be best if his nephew and now adopted son knew of his powers and how to control them.

Room Number: 1 Gaian Name: HiGH LyK Candied MeL0dies Name: Princess Melodee Amadeus Age: Seventeen Power: Healing of others and self. [[Not regeneration, more like healing wounds.]] Personality: Melodee is quite flirtatious but also kind-hearted and bubbly. Many a time she is easy to get along with. Image: Melodee Background: She doesn't introduce herself as her first name, she actually introduces herself as Melodee. She is embarrassed of what her first name really is so nobody knows. Her parents died when she was hardly a toddler, so she was raised by her grandmother until she reached senior high. Her grandmother believed that she was mature and old enough to live on her own, however she gave Mel a choice. Exhibit A - live in an apartment with assisted rent pay, go to school and get a part-time job. Exhibit B - go to a boarding school with assisted tuition pay, develop powers, do well in school, get a part time job. Mel chose choice B. Mel has attended the school for her past years in highschool. She know almost everyone who attends and usually get to know the new-comers. She has had several boyfriends and flings. She loves to go clubbing, however she decided that, despite her passion for wild life, she wanted to settle down and make better choices for herself. Hence, Melodee recently stopped playing around with boys... well... at least she's working on keeping the boy factor to a minimum. Word around school is she's not a virgin. Well? Is she or isn't she? Nobody knows the truth as Melodee doesn't involve herself with petty rumors. She usually doesn't care what the rumors are as long as they don't affect her too dramatically. Power: Mind manipulation
Personality: Veronica isn't the typical sixteen-year-old. She is actually quite driven to succed and doesn't take too kindly to failing. She is quite nice, but doesn't to open up to people so easily. Veronica also has her moments when she's mean, but she tries her best to tone it done to leace a good first impression on people. She also keeps to herself and doesn't go around looking for trouble. Veronica may be nice and quiet, but she is no wimp who'll let you walk all over her, no, not in the least bit.

Background: Veronica was born into the average upscale family with a neurological surgeon for a father and a pediatrition for a mother. she respected them and tried her best to please them and make them proud of her. It all started from when she was able to talk, from then on in continued. Her parents kept her powers secret from her, but growing up Veronica was able to use them without knowing it. Whenever she wanted something people always seemed to sway her way and she indeed got what she was aiming for. She discovered her power when she was fighting with her older brother and suddenly touched him just before hitting him. He jolted and he completly changed his mind. She went to her parents about it and they finally gave in and told her everything. They decided that it would be best for her to attend the academy and she agreed.
Crush: Veronica does not yet have one, but she's willing to keep her options open. She hopes to find someone to call hers though.

Name: Nathan Reeper

Power: Teleportation, but sometimes he phases in and out of two places, almost as if he's a ghost of reality.
Personality: Mr. Reeper is the kind of guy that usually blends into the back ground. By no means is he shy or quiet, though he may come off as that in the beginning. He's more to himself and understanding of others. When he does open up though, he's quite lively and expressive.

Background: Nathan had a mother though she died when he was very young. He never lets that bring him down because he didn't know her well and doesn't like to think what she would have been like. However his father Rick Reeper he was a very bad man. He was nicknamed -The Reaper- for how well he was able to swindle people out of their money and sometimes even their lives. Unfortunately Rick's hazardous life style caught up to him and lets say The Reaper became the reaped. Rick never let his business or his lifestyle affect his son's life and so within Nathan's heart he lives on as a very good man.

Now, when around friends, I'm loud, lovable, hilarious~, very dramatic and downright phenomenal~! So, how could you not love me? Though there are people who just don't understand, which will explain why they have to get on my BAD side. That's the one side you do not wanna be on. After all, I'll make your life a living hell, in fact, I'll make you commit suicide from how badly I'll treat you if you ever rub me the wrong one. I am not the one. Seriously, you wanna live to see tomorrow, you better learn to keep my name out your mouth. That's all I have to say.

Background: Hmm.....my past isn't as glamorous as moi~! It was pretty much normal, well as normal as one's life can be with supernatural powers. My parents are just as crazy as everyone else's. Cool when they wanna be, annoying just the same, overprotective, and downright nosy. Am I right, people? Anywho, I was pretty much Miss Popular even when I was little, I was the girl you LOVED to hate, still am. Though it only seem that way, I am pretty cool once you get to know me. I pretty much been around the world thanks to my dad's line of work. He's British if you didn't know while my mother is Japanese and Korean. Yeah, I'm a little mutt. Don't call me that though, I'll have to cut you if you do. He's a Navy man while my mom is a big time novelist. She dabbles in science fiction while most of her big sellers or fanstasy and thrillers.
Anyways, back to me. Thanks to constantly moving all over the place (Didn't mind it though, met alot of interesting people and learned about different cultures), I never really done most things teenagers does and despite my appearance, I never even had my first kiss. Sad right? To be honest, never done much at all. No first kiss, no first love, no first date, no first anything! Oh but, I have gone out to parties and stuf, so that's somewhat good. Anyways when my powers started to develop, my parents had to find a school that suited my needs. And well, that pretty much explains why I'm here.
After all, when you can body swap, you can do pretty much anything you want! Depending on who's body you're in. Well, actually, that's the real reason why I'm here. Parents wanted me to learn how to better control my power for good and not for my own selfish needs. Hey, not my fault my teachers were assholes and didn't want to change my grade. All I did was give them a little 'nudge' in the right direction. Hehehe, gotta love that benefit. But now look at where it got me. This all better be worth it or someone's gonna pay!
Oh but there is one more thing you should know about me and even though I hate to have to say it, even someone like me have weaknesses.....noticed that I said it in plural form. Here's a list of all my weaknesses, only those I can truly trust know these:
-Can't body swap into moving targets
-When body swapping, my body is most vulnerable
-If I somehow miss my target, it takes a good minute or so before I return to my body
And.....that's all I know of. The most I was thinking about was fears. And I AM NOT telling you those. That is all.

Room Number: Eleven Gaian Name: Madam Stalin Name: Lilah Jo-Ansander Age: 17 Power: Has the ability to control the wind (I know so unoriginal) Personality: Lilah usually likes to be on her own, she has never been a real, as some would say 'people-person' To her most people don't comprehend as much as she does, they don't look out, and beyond. She loves to color, coloring books, just drawing rainbows or such. She never had a specific color she enjoyed, but she is fond of blue. She works hard at what she does. So you can imagine she is a good student, though seemingly quiet in the class room, she is a burst of energy on the inside, constantly questioning what someone is doing, or trying to figure things out on her own. She is very polite, and pleasant to be around. She never really starts anything, unless she is riled about something. Other than that she is pretty normal, quiet, secluded, but normal. Name: Elecktra Romani Vespera
Age: 18
Power: Clairvoyancy. She sees ghosts and can converse with them, as well as summon dead spirits. They're used mostly for spying and finding things though, and rarely ever have the ability to do harm. Occasionally she can channel them through her body if she wanted to. Unless something drastic happens her ability poses no threat. Some bad things could happen to her and those around her though if she does to much. The otherworld doesn't take to kindly to being trifled with.
Personality: Elecktra is kind of a free spirit so to speak. She does whatever she wants whenever she wants, (within reason of course) and has a "thieving" streak. She sort of has a mysterious side though, as part of her training. She likes messing with people, and it can be hard to tell when shes serious and when she isn't. She isn't necessarily loyal to anyone, but when she decides to help someone, she'll stick to it.

Background: Elecktra was born in the mountains that surround the valley in a gypsy caravan that roamed the forests and such mountains. Being a girl she was put through seer training, as was tradition. She trained in the ways of old alchemy and looking to the future for answers to peoples problems. She was also put through potion making, learning various cures and poisons for various things. The more she learned, the more her power grew. But there was one problem. She was an utter failure. Her potions always blew up, when she looked to the future she saw random things happening that made no sense, when she used alchemy she could only transform small toys. Therefore, she was mocked by the other girls her age. The elder women had a counsel, and decided to send Elecktra into the city. It was un-heard of! Gypsies were a secretive kind, so to send someone, a failure at that, into the very city they steered clear of was blasphemy. But they were desperate.

Age: 50 (Mysteriously young looking for her age)
Power: Darkness
Personality: Isabel is quiet and sweet, but her power often makes her seem eerie, ghost-like. She is gentle and kind, but at night... (to be found out later on...) She's not one to lay down rules (she mostly leaves her husband to that job) but she will enforce order when she needs to.

Name: Lucas Chaucer
Age: 50 (though looks surprisingly young)
Power: Light
Personality: Lucas can be incredibly strict, but he is also a caring headmaster along with his wife. He often shows this through kind and considerate acts, even though during those times he does retain that same strict attitude about himself that Lucas can never drop. He almost completely loses all that though when around Isabel. Trustworthy and reliable are good words that describe him, but secretive and mysterious are as well. Lucas is also almost annoying formal, calling only his wife and the students who have spent most of their lives inside the school's majestic walls by their first name with no added title.

Personality: Amos is a very sneaky man, often called crazy and thought to be a thief. He can be found wandering as an off-store merchant throughout the alleys and streets of the City of Herst.

He has no memory of the three years he was in capture, but when he was let loose in Herst Valley, he had the strange ability to temporarily borrow other people’s powers, sometimes without control.

ANNOUNCEMENT:A new twist to the story:Amos Fortun, a borrower of powers, is wandering the streets of the City of Herst.Over a course of time, many of the students will be affected by this strange man on their frequent visits to the City of Herst. Whether they're scared, annoyed, or nervous about this man, they still never tell anyone about it. Maybe they think it's unimportant or dangerous... but either way, no professors or headmasters shall find out. And the rest is a secret. For now, at least. wink

A student would be great! We've decided to use only Professor Lucas and Professor Isabel as teachers.
