Eden sighed, trotting around. She's lived in the neutrals lands for quite some time now- but she'd still haven't met everyone or seen everything. You'd think there could only be so much! She smiled and nodded at the creatures that gave her interest- be them helixes or not. It was dawn, and not to many were stirring except those who'd spent their time in the night and hadn't drifted off to sleep quite yet.
She stopped by a river bank and sipped from the water. Her reflection. She hated it. She was supposed to be the leader of her 'pack' but she was still so small. Her brother, Eros, was huge now. Ravenfall too. Their voices deep, reminding her of her father and uncles. Hmph. What was with nature these days?

 It was still early, earlier than Halona would normally be up and about, but her dreams had left her restless and anxious. Vague feelings of fury and violence, swirling with red and black and white...
Of course, it all made little sense to her in the end and the only thing accomplished was that she'd given up on getting any more sleep this morning. So, with a yawn and a stretch, she set off to get a drink from the river. That was one good thing about the early hour...the river's waters were still cold and fresh, tasting of the night for a bit longer before the sun's rays permeated their depths.
As she neared the river, she blinked repeatedly...the last time she opened them, they were completely opaque white. A female Helix...young...red and dark gray...and white...by the riverside...
Her paws kept her moving and it wasn't until she blinked again, shaking her head and her eyes returning to normal that she realized...her paws had betrayed her. Her eyes locked on the other female, just across the river, and her mind raced. Should she run? Or was she here for some particular reason?

Eden wouldn't had noticed the helixes presence if the sound of her walking had faltered. She was to engrossed in thought but the when the sound of padding on the grass stopped, it pulled her back to reality. The next thing she noticed was the sudden, thick tension in the atmosphere.
Eden looked up and her eyes immediately fell on the brown helix. She locked gazes with her, confused by her frightened expression. Eden had just repeatedly went over why she wasn't intimidating and here, this full grown helix was shaking.
Eden looked over her shoulder, to make sure there wasn't a bear or a more lethal helix in the distance behind her. Nothing. Nothing but a black bird flying by in the backdrop. Turning back to helix, Eden tilted her head. "Yes?" She called over to her, innocent and curious.

Halona paused, sensing no aggressive behavior from the other Helix, and yet her natural instinct to be wary of other Helixes prevailed. 'I'm sorry...I didn't mean to intrude. I'm sure you'd like to err...have your quiet time in the morning. Excuse me,' she rambled quickly, nodding her head a couple times for good measure.
Her paws were fidgety as she hurried to change direction, silently cursing them for carrying her here in the first place. Stupid curse...

"Hey,hey.. wait." Eden jogged to catch up with her, stopping next to her. "Is there something wrong?" she asked concerned and very curious. What was this chick doing here? She tilted her head, expecting some sob story about her some male was harassing her or her bad pack or family. The usual... but on second thought, this girl didn't seem like the usual helix.. she felt different on several levels...
