Myth-Vampires canot go into sunlight or they will burn
Fact- Everyone burns if there in the sun to long just with vamires there have been differant breeds that react differantly in the sun.So for some yes for others no.With half-bloods (half human/vampire) it can go either way.
Myth-A wooden stake can kill a vampire
Fact- Wood has no affect on them,silver stakes on the other hand do.And teh shape does not matter,its just peopel used stakes cause there pointed.Any silver item will hurt vampires.Its how people started to think Lycans were alergic to silver when in reality it came from the vampires.Silver nitrate hurts vampires.
Myth-Dracula
Fact- There was no Dracula,i dont care what you say there was not.He came from a romainian prince that killed people by wearing there flesh as jewlry,drinking there blood,and eating there meat.
Myth-Vampires hate holy water
Fact-This one has some truth to it for vampires are seen as cretures of hell.Only they were rejected so anything holy hurt them.No,all holy water does is slow vampires down by makeing them sick at touch,but drinking it my conclude in death.
Myth-Garlic kills vampires
Fact-Wrong,garlic only paralizes them when injested.
Myth-Vampires are asociated with cats
Fact-No,cats are asocieated with witches.Cats are the guardians of hell that stop demons and lucifer from fully leaving so they poses people,well vampires didnt follow that rule so they were kicked out of hell.Vampires perfered hell caus it was suposably easyer to poses people from,but as they moved to the uper world and astablished human lives they relized it was a good thing.But they still hate cats cause cats can make them return to hell any time they wish.

Fact-Yes,i am sad to say lycans (warewolvs) like in the movie Underworld do not liek each other.The war stared as it did in the movie.You can look through history and see thats what happened.Lycan loved vampire,they were gana have a chiled,vampire king killed her his daughter starting teh war.Lycan were originaly slaves as well but now they have there own freedom and fit into society like everyone else.You may know one and not evan know it.

I question the basis of your 'Facts'. With the only real fact being that true vampires don't exist, anything else is just your own personal opinion on how something that doesn't exist should exist if it did exist.
For instance, I could easily say that all vampires are subject to sunlight's burn, and that no half-vampire exists, because vampires cannot reproduce amongst themselves, let alone with humans.

Tehehe, my god won't protect me from anything. I don't have one.
But that's beside the point, the first myths about anything that resembled vampires were from certain villages where people would die of a certain disease (I say certain because I forgot what they were and I didn't feel like researching it again), after infecting their family, then when the entire family would go ill they'd dig up the bodies of the first one to die and they'd find that they looked full and bloated because of the way the body would decompose. So they thought that the dead relative was feeding off the living ones.
Other than that, there have been many cases of people drinking human blood regularly, but almost all of those were either religions or cults trying to emulate vampires. The rest are few and undocumented so it's likely that they are either rumors or myths.
All other accounts are old and cryptic, and could have easily started as stories to scare little children.
If you can give me an example of vampires that doesn't fall into one of the categories then I might consider it.
But I doubt you will prove it, because if something lives, than it will die of old age (provided they don't die of something else first), no matter what you do to them, short of completely replacing their bodies every century or so, and not even that will last forever.

Some of it sounds like hocky-pocky to me.
I never heard of cats and vampires linked ever in a myth.
When people think cats they think of witches anyway.
Or wizards....maybe in my case. Cats I think are the creatures closest to the magical world then anything.
maybe you meant bats......idk.
I dont understand what you were saying about dracula. Are you saying 'yes, he was based off a romanian prince but his name wasnt dracula?'
Why is there a castle called dracula castle then in Romania?
I did my senior research on werewolves and lycanthropes to their exact origin. I never came across anything relating to vampires. Only witches and witchcraft as stated in Witchcraft, Lycanthropy, Drugs, and Disease. This is a very good citied and documated book on witches, witchhunts, etc. Im sure I would have noticed vampires on this book.
If any true vampires exist today it is becuase they choose it by lifestyle and i.e a psychic vampire like Don the vampire from Mad Mad House that drains life energy and does drink actual blood occasionally. And I have seen gone out in daylight.

In short order, what I was trying to say, was that unless you have recently talked to a vampire and discussed its strengths and weaknesses in detail, everything you say is simply speculation and opinion, don't go labeling it as 'Fact'. I'm a logical being first, even when it comes to the supernatural and the Mythical.

Well for one thing i see you have been watching monster quest.And i saw that as well and that is what people used to think.I think it was during teh plauge.But evidence has proven vampires do egzist,can you give me proof that they do not? I have seen over 24 familys who have had family members from long ago convicted as a vampire and killed,one of witch was my family witch inspired me to reaserch vampires more.I have looked through books,internet pages,articles,ect.....And most point to the idea of vampires being real.And with the vampire and cats,its one of the newest myths.Everyday many myths are made,and one of the newest ones believed by vampires is the one with them and the cats.Witch is highly obserd and anoying.But demons are very real,especily the kind that lurk in hearts of men.I am very knolegable on that as well.Me and other women in my family practice witch-craft so we are normaly associeated with with mythical cretures such as vampire,lycans,and more.

um the last statement about dracula proved nothing. it was for movie makers to make a good movie, it started as a book written by bram stoker.
and I've never seen monster quest.
and the proving how something can't or can't exist. That just revolves around in a circle for me. Becuase most legends, myths, etc. are hard to prove, making them even harder so to disapprove.
We could go on and on forever about this.
I think when it comes to vampires, werewolves, etc...its one of the harder things to prove.
I think the Loch Ness monster has a better chance.
I think if vampires did exist they would never come out.

I haven't watched Monster Quest either.
But back on topic people get accused of and killed for all sorts of supernatural things in history, it doesn't mean that they actually were what they were accused of. It just means that they did something suspicious in a superstitious and accusing society.

And don't even get me started on that "prove that they don't exist thing", it is a huge and pointless logical fallacy. Ever heard of Russel's Teapot? Look it up then come back and tell me to prove they don't exist.
If you still want me to after you have read that, I'll tell you the exact same thing I did before: Anything alive will die of old age, as long as they aren't killed by something else first. That is fact.

-sigh- So good that i dont care for opinions,but people have differant poinions and i cant change that.I really dont want to either,what you think is what you think.And im not here to change that,i think without opinons on things teh world would be so blan and anoying.But back on topic i will not dicuss with you the myth/fact of vampires liveing.What i believe is differant from what you believe,oh well,no big woop.

My only problem here is that you were calling your opinion fact. I was simply trying to point that out. But don't tell me to prove that they don't exist, first off: if you are willing to listen, I could do it in at least two different ways, second off: the very logic behind that challenge is flawed and only perpetuates superstition and misconception.
