She was shunned by her people and fought to survive in the jungles of Tarkeena. She had been born on a different island in the West Blue, accounting for her paler skin and frame, but was raised on Tarkeena. Her mother, during her short lifetime, called her Beaufille (fair daughter) from her native tongue. She was eventually adopted by the master of the House of Tark, a noble family, Grandfather Yobu Tark. However, the other members of the Tark family shunned her illformed appearance, fleeing with tales of a monster lurking the halls. In her gratitude, Lamia offered up her undying service to the man who adopted her.}

{After some years alone with Master Yobu, Lamia's father came seeking the palace of Tark. As the rest of the family had abandoned Lamia and Master Yobu, he sought to enslave his daughter and rule the house of Tark, and the hidden fortune there, for himself. He threatened to kill the old man if he did not cooperate, and Lamia quickly stepped in and fought him. Her father was quite a formidable swordsman, once capable of holding his own against Mihawk, but the fight cost him a leg and an arm, both on his right side. Lamia was blinded in her right eye, and remained with Master Yobu while her father fled, swearing he'd one day have his vengeance. While Lamia would have gladly chased him down and destroyed his evil intent for good, she instead remained at her masters side to tend to his health.}

Extras: Lamia's permanent state as a half woman/half serpent is due to an unprecedented reaction with her Devil Fruit, as it often gives a permanent change to ones appearance.

Chapter I
{After being dropped off on the CP9 training island by her father, who was doubly vexed at her slacker attitude, Myra began her training with the youth of the CP9, including future Cp9 members Lucci, Kaku, Kalifa, etc. She often complained during training, but became one of the tougher trainees. Lucci even once admitted as a child that her Shigan was almost more powerful than his. But as the others went on to seek their posts as assassinations, Myra gave up in the middle of the tests and sought a simpler job. Her response to her shocked colleagues questions of Why? was simply "It's a drag."}

{After easily sweeping away the competition for a job as Captain on a sleepy island, Myra began living an easier life. However, she did grow quite bored, and eventually learned to master Dao Dan Do, purely out of boredom. Her naginata are fairly new, and she named them the Sussuruss, as the quaked the foundation of her martial arts style. However, a ship on the horizon may yank away her easy going lifestyle.}
