Airi's Sanctum This room is invisible from the outside, bearing no visible entry from the small, apparently false balcony that overlooks the gardens. There are no visible doors in from the interior of HQ, either... hmm. The only reason people would even know the room was there is from the large bay windows on the second floor. They overlook and partially overshadow the Common Room below, and are visible from the open part of the Upper Halls on the second floor. However, anyone seeking to look inside from that vantage point will find themselves disappointed, as the bay windows are stained glass and apparently impossible to see through. The stained glass image is of a lovely garden with two figures in it, one on either side, reaching towards each other.

Sati appeared, hair settling after the magickal wind from her method of travel had died away. Sati had held onto a hope that she would find Airi before she had to travel again, but she was running out of time, knowing she had to leave sooner then later. Airi's room didnt exist downstairs now, and so she went upstairs, curious as to the whyfores of the stained glass bay windows. The garden image depicted on them...could this be where Airi was hiding? The entrance way..that wasnt so obvious - at all.

As Sati examined the windows, they suddenly seemed to clear, the delicately rendered stained-glass leaves on the trees flicking away as if blown by a strong breeze. Airi was there, standing in the clear part as the color of the windows washed away to the side.
She tilted her head at Sati, then nodded once and gestured for the Fa'e to go to the left and back down the hall. The blank wall near the staircase had now opened up into a slanting doorway.

There had become little that surprised or fascinated Sati lately...but that sight was something to see. She smiled a little at Airi, but remembered why she was there and her expression was all seriousness again. She glanced in the direction that Airi was gesturing to, and entered the slanted doorway, looking around her as she went inside.

As Sati headed down the hall, the leaves and color blew back over the window, leaving it as it had been before, unable to be seen through once again.
The inside of Airi's room was colored with that same stained-glass light; before Sati had entered, the blonde Fa'e had retreated to a long fainting-couch that was near a set of glass double-doors leading out to the balcony. The architecture within was strongly organic, mimicing trees and a garden inside, but with no real plants anywhere to be seen. The door closed behind Sati like a mouth, sealing the wall with no crack remaining.
"Sati. I was waiting for your return," Airi murmured, one hand straying up to her neck as though looking for something, then dropping back to her lap.

Sati looked around her, at the door sealing itself, and at the strangeness of the 'room'. She looked at Airi, guarded now, from what she had heard, from what she'd learned at Tiers Lea. Slowly she approached, stopping a distance and she bowed her head, her hair obscuring her face for a moment before speaking; 'I had heard that you weren't to be found, I would have returned to you sooner with the answer you sent me for if I had known it was possible to speak to you.'

"My home has been changing." Airi reached out to touch the nearest wall. "I had to stay within and watch it... take care of it. I did not trust the builders alone without my guidance." She looked almost shyly at Sati. "Do you like it?"
"You, too, have been changing," she observed.

Sati nodded. 'I see..' she smiled again, still unable to pair the girl before her, with the things she had been told. 'I do, its very lovely.' Sati blinked a little at Airi's latter comment; she had after all forgotten pretty much that she had changed so much. 'Outside and in, yes.'

"I'm glad..." Again, the reach up to the throat, and the return to the lap without finding anything on the way. A sad, lost little movement. "You are much changed, Sati. What happened in the City of the Gods?" Airi sat up and looked intently at Sati, her expression intense. "Did you find what was needed?"

Sati followed the seemingly involuntary movement that Airi was doing then snapped back to the moment. 'In a manner of speaking,' she knelt before Airi, feet tucked under her bottom. She opened a hand, the golden trident appearing for a moment before she sent it away again. 'I almost died to find what I needed, but no such sacrifice was needed for what you asked of me.'

"I am sorry it was hard for you," Airi murmured, looking down almost guiltily. Then she straightened. "Please - tell me. What did you find for me in that place?" Her blue gaze met Sati's, her expression solemn - but something underneath was trembling in anticipation. Her hands were shaking, though it was barely noticable.

'You werent to know. Besides, I am stronger for it.' Sati paused, remembering..she could scarce forget what she had been told. Ioriel's words.. 'I agreed to find out for you - and I keep to my word.' Sati closed her eyes, but Kali was surprisingly silent and offered nothing. 'Chaos..' she said the word haltingly then spoke firmer. 'Chaos changed..his nature changed to someone who dealt out wanton destruction, raged on and on, nothing but a force of anger. He was destroying all...and at great cost of power and life to the gods and goddesses who witnessed his rage, he was eventually sealed away.' she fell silent again, wondering if Airi would want to know the suspected reason behind his sudden change.

Airi listened, but as she listened, she seemed to shrink into the couch, drown in her white dress - though physically she did not change, she seemed trying to melt away and hide from Sati's words. "I... I see," she said, finally.
A single tear snaked its way down her cheek, but she brushed it away before it got too far. "So it was..." Her voice trailed off.
Then she sat up again, as if gathering her strength. "Tell me everything," she said, her voice commanding, though it cracked on the edges with emotion. The vulnerable teenage-girl-Airi was conflicting with ethereal-untouchable-Airi again, it seemed...

Sati watched Airi; 'All I can tell you is what the seraph at Tiers Lea told me. I didnt understand it all myself.' She folded two hands, one of top of the other, resting them on her thighs. 'He..told me first that Chaos was a founding father, and before he changed would speak to the gods. When Chaos did change, he could not be reasoned or diverted from his destructions, so the gods joined together to seal him in the Absence, a place of Nothing between all worlds. I was told there is a Guardian for the seal, but was given no description or name of the creature.' Sati paused, a hand tugging on her earlobe, the action jangling her nath. 'The possible reasoning behind his change; both gods and men started to dream when they slept - but it was thought a foolish theory that something that trivial would affect a being in this manner.'

"No.... no, it wouldn't... didn't, not that way," Airi whispered, then shook her head quickly. "No wonder... no answer, no child, no wonder." She looked small and vulnerable now, swaying back and forth slightly. "I have been a fool."
