Just when you thought the woods would never end, a clearing appears and splits to a beautifully taken care of lawn and beds of flowers. Up a path you see the large, dominating castle. You move forward, knock on the door... and surprisingly, someone answers.

It was the longest three days of my life, this I was sure of. I had enough, I'm sure you could gather, from my bull of a Master. He was too much for me to handle... I just couldn't take his hands on me anymore; I know I was his property and all, but what's the sense in buying something expensive just to ******** destroy it? Not that he really destroyed me, but he hurt me all the time and put me out of commission, so it was kind of the same thing.

That was he thing, though. The whole causing me pain thing, so that's why, at first chance, I split. It took me a while, but eventually I got out and now I'm on my own... and let me tell you, I kept thinking, the moment I get a chance, I'd sell myself again. It was so hard living on my own. Three whole days; I was cold and hungry beyond comprehension... that's when I stumbled upon this... castle. If I could tell you, it was so cool at first look. I saw it from the town, and it was weird because all the other people I asked said they saw nothing in the distance. But I saw it, clear as day; sitting there on a hill in the clearing of the expansive forest. So, after stealing a bit of food and water I set out on my journey.

Oh, boy, it was only when I was pushing through vines did I realize how out of shape I was... I'm a skinny thing, I know, but I was never used for nothing but sex, so going all out and trekking through the woods was a bit of a haul. But... through it all, I got past the forest. I made it, and the castle was there. At first I was hesitant; I know you could understand... but there was this pull. Don't ask me to really explain it, but I had such a want to go to this place... So I did. I marched right up and knocked on the door. And knocked. And knocked. And nothing; nobody answered, and to my surprise the door was open... So I went inside, with nothing to loose.

It was creepy, I'll tell you, all dark and such... but I flipped on a light, and it sparked to life...

Yup, and that's what started it. I looked around, and there's a fridge full of food that never runs out. I tried asking it for certain things, and the next day... I kid you not, there was my chunky-monkey ice cream. Freaking awesome. I figured all of this had to be some kind of dream, I mean... nothing like this really exists, but if it was a dream I'm sure there'd be someone else there. I always have dreams about a knight in shining armor... ah, well, I'd rather not wake up yet. At least in this dream I'm not being hurt.

Well, it's been a full day now, and I'm still here... I wonder if I'm the only one who can see this place... and where it came from.

Ayden had finally made it away from that place. That place that caused him so much harm that he wasn't even able to sleep anymore. He hardly smiled after Jack died. I'm pretty sure you couldn't even begin to understand what a hard life he has been through. Ayden has lost everything and everyone around him ,but as the months went by all the past experiences were just fading memories. Memories that keep connection with your thoughts and dreams. Memories that don't go away. It was useless trying to escape from that place. Trying to start over for the second time. Deep down Ayden already knew he'd regret ever stepping foot on the long winding path, past beautiful flowers and well tended to gardens, to the gigantic castle.

The place had an eerie look to it and it seemed that no one has been here in at least a thousand years. The condition of the gardens said otherwise. He hesitantly lifted his fist to knock on the door, signaling that he was entering the castle. After ten minutes of no answer, Ayden began to really think no one was there. He turned around getting ready to look for another place to stay ,but much to his discomfort, the door slowly creeked open. Ayden looked cautiously at the door for a long while before gathering enough courage to push the door open and begin his new life.

Inside, a light flickered against the walls. I'm not the only one here. Ayden didn't know if he should be relieved or afraid that he wasn't the only visitor residing in this castle. He heard some rustling come from another direction and his curiosity took over. Ayden slowly crept across the floor, interested in seeing what the disturbance was caused by. He peeked into a room that apeared to be the kitchen and watched as a man took out some icecream and began to eat it. His stomach growled while he watched the boy eat. Ayden stood there in silence, hoping he would go unnoticed for a while.

Rei was lost.
Truthfully, this did not surprise him at all, considering the directions he had been given were absolutely terrible. Standing in the wood, he knew he must of went the wrong way. Or possibly the right way on the map, but the wrong for the wrong address. He sighed, pushing some of his long, dark hair from his face. Maybe this was a bad idea to begin with, to come out to the middle of nowhere with some crappy directions. Then again, maybe if he pushed through these vines up here...

Using a pocket knife, he slashed away the thick, gnarley vines only to discover a huge, castle. It was awesome, magnificent to behold, a beautiful Gothic structure. It looked old, ancient and appeared as if no one had been there for awhile.Blinking, Rei stared down at the rumpled paper in his fist and wondered if this was were he was supposed to be. Glancing around, he walked up the steps to the giant doors. Cautiously, he pushed open one of the doors and stepped in.

"Hello...?" he called softly, looking about the dim area. "Is anyone here..?"

Legs crossed, prim and proper, one over the other, sat the shadowed form on the couch. It was an ancient piece of furniture, probably worth more than all the possessions of the gaggle of boys that had entered the castle put together. The silent form watched the young men come and yet said nothing, though he longed to raise his voice in greeting. If one were to glance his way they might catch sign of blue eyes glowing in the dark. This was due to the fact that the creature here had the ability to view the world through the infrared spectrum, which picked up heat patterns rather than light, this causing his eyes to seem as though they were glowing, behind thick rimmed glasses and magenta bangs, a glass of the finest wine clutched in one hand.

The demon, for that was truly what he was, was half amused and half miffed as the young men made themselves at home.. He had a rather sticky case of Obsessive Compulsive disorder which demanded cleanliness to the utmost degree. His long pointed ears twitched at the noises invading the castle, which had been nearly completely quite for centuries. Castle Deathrose, as it had been known in it's prime, belonged to only son of a once powerful and malicious demon, though this son, Vaga, was, himself, mild mannered and peaceful, caring much more for books than fighting.

I had thought I was alone… I mean, there wasn’t any need to think I wasn’t alone. I had called out and everything! But a voice from outside made me jump and then I saw the pair of eyes watching me from the door. I dropped the spoon and it clattered to the floor, and I jumped back a little. “Oh!” I chewed on my lower lip in some kind of stupid, nervous way… I couldn’t help it; I felt like I had literally gotten caught with my hand in the cookie jar.

“Oh… oh! … s…sorry.” I sputtered this out nervously, leaning down and picking up the spoon, which I held like a weapon of sorts. I wasn’t sure what this stranger was going to do to me! “Is this… your… place? Oh… sorry, just… needed a place.” I mumbled in a rather pathetic attempt to save my own a** from getting kicked to the curb. “I didn’t think… you know… anyone was here or nothin’…” I felt myself reverting into a slave like disposition… and I just couldn’t help it. My head lowered, his shoulders slouched and I became submissive in a way to just… give myself over. But I was in somebody else’s house, I was eating their ice cream…

s**t, I knew it was too good to be true… I quickly mumbled another apology and just kind of… maneuvered myself away from this man. Go to the door. That was the only thing on my mind. But, of course, there someone was… but he looked as lost as I had been, so I just kind of… move away, trying to hide. Yes; that sounded like an even better idea. But that was when I ran into my third stranger of the night; but I could only see these eyes now… blue eyes that made my entire body shiver.

Instead of being a dream it was a freaking nightmare! I sank down to the floor, trying to hide in the shadows…

"What are you cowering on the floor for?" The voice, a little hoarse from disuse, whispered from the dark. A sip of the wine was taken before the form rose from it's seat, still cloaked in shadow. "No one is going to hurt you here... You long for protection as dearly as I seek companionship." It was truthfully spoken.. The demon, in his many long years here in the castle, had become rather lonely, to say the least. He'd read over all the books in his huge, glorious library, and it was indeed magnificent, as Vaga's passion was reading and he collected books quite happily.

A long, forked, black tail swished behind him, slowly, the rhythm almost hypnotizing. He hoped not to frighten them off as he slowly crept forward from the darkness.

James paused to catch his breath and rest sore muscles. Being chained to a wall for eighty years didn’t give you much chance for exercise and he had still to recover from his last session. He shivered, remembering what she had done to him. Suddenly he was one again surrounded by the thick bars of his cage, he was trapped, vulnerable and she was coming down the stairs. His hand clasped at his throat, feeling for the collar that should be there. But his fingers touched bare skin, the collar was gone, the bars turned into trees and vines. He was safe, safe. He reached into his pants pocket, pulled out and and reread the note left by the man in white for the thousandth time that day.
Follow the trail until you come to a small village. Therein lies a castle. It is in this castle that you will find yourself once more. Remember that I shall be watching, and would never allow you to be further harmed. Be safe, and trust your heart.
AO

The familiar words gave him the comfort he needed to continue on. He pushed past one last veil of vines, and found himself at the castle he had seen before. His eyes widened, the castle was very foreboding, but it held an almost friendly air. He walked to the door and, still clutching the note in his hand, saw that it was partially opened.
He looked in and was greeted by a strange sight, one that made his stomach tie itself in a painfully familiar knot of terror. There was a small boy cowering on the floor. With three men surrounding him, one of which was a demon. A demon that looked horribly like one who use to “visit” him in his cage. One of the men had wolven ears, and stood in what looked like the doorway to a kitchen. The third man was right in front of James.
He wanted to run, to get as far away as possible. He didn’t want to watch as three men raped the boy on the floor, he knew what it was like to be forced upon by several others and he DID NOT want to see another go through that torture. But his body was frozen where he stood, it wouldn’t move. All he could do was stare at the boy...

((I dunno about that.. XD Maybe you should check his profile. Most demons don't look like magenta haired aristocratic fruits... <<"" Vaga has had his wings cut off as well.. so he doesn't look terribly demonic other than his tail.. XD I just don't think that it's likely that someone looking much like him is around and about.

But hey *shrug*... I guess I should wait for everyone else to catch up and post. o-o))

(( Just so everyone knows, I just want you all to know that it is expected to read other characters profiles. Please thanks. ;D ))

“Dogs belong on the floor.” The sarcastic comment spilled from my lips before I could stop them. I frowned a bit, feeling those piercing blue eyes on me… I mean, his voice sounded gruff… and all I could see was those eyes. Was it weird that I was just staring like that? And then there was another person coming through the door! And he was ******** staring at me. Why? Did I have ice cream on my face? Did I have some kind of gunk in my hair? (It’s happened before, the Master is very inconsiderate.)

Ah… why am I talking like that? Is? He’s not my Master anymore. I ran away from that b*****d: I am free. Of course, now that I was I didn’t want it anymore. I hated being alone… these blue eyes were right when they said I wanted protection. I longed for it so bad… longed for that warm bed and shower when I needed it. At least the Master had the courtesy to feed me… I hadn’t had a good meal in… way too long. “Ah… is this… your… your house? Sorry… ” I felt the need to apologize; after all I broken and entered… but so did all these other people.

Maybe there was something more to this castle… maybe all these people were coming for a reason….

I pushed myself to my feet, shuffling with these stupid nerves that probably made me look even weaker. And then I felt it… that hideous sleep drifting over my eyes that made my entire body wobble. s**t. Of course I didn’t have any medicine anymore… I hadn’t in a while, but I hadn’t gotten an attack since I was free… I was scared to fall asleep around all these strangers… I kind of fell back to the ground, with a tiny ‘ump’ noise coming from my lips in the process. I was very careful to keep my breathing steady and try to look like nothing was wrong. Maybe they would all ignore me and talk to each other… yea, that’s all I could really hope for at this point…

Vaga emerged from the shadows in all his fabulous glory. He was of average high, with bright magenta colored hair, the bangs swept in front of his his eyes. A small smile graced his features as he offered his hand to the boy on the floor. "Come now, get up from there." he chided, offering a hand. His fingers were long and delicate, piano playing fingers, tipped with sharp nails, though they were decidedly well cared for and clean.

"There is no sense in you laying in the floor." The demon took time to glance up at the other gentlemen, shaking his head ever so slightly. "I'm sure you're all very confused." Vaga murmured quietly.

He looked at the boy getting up off the floor, then glanced back over at the one in the shadows. Rei noticed how the boy wobbled and shook. He looked malnourished, more so than him. He sincerely hoped the boy wasn't going to faint....but Rei wasn't sure if he should say anything. Maybe it would be best to hold his tongue for the moment.

His eyes widened at the sight of beautiful demon emerging from the shadows.
"I...know I'm quite confused...and I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?" he asked, twisting some of the bracelets on his right wrist. He had a sense that the demon was the lord of the castle...but what were his intentions?

Ayden noticed that the room was getting crowded and his ears drooped. Run run run Ayden screamed in his head running like a maniac through the group of people that just enetered. People scared him so much. Ayden ran franticly towards a dimly lit hallway and thenhe stopped dead in his tracks. That demon must've been the owner of this castle. He was pondering the thought when he instantly got goosebumps all over his pale skin. His ears raised in alert, trying to figure out why he was so afraid.

Ayden felt strange. He heard the ruckus behind him and he felt a little faint, unable to think Ayden fell to the ground, he went out cold. His body was laying there in the middle of the hallway, vulnerable to any sadistic man in this castle. It's too bad no one even cared that he was probably going to get attacked by some random person.

"My name is Vaga, Vaga Deathrose, I'm the lord of this lonely castle that you've stumbled upon." A charming smile followed, he was all manners and protocol. This young, or so he looked, demon was as polite as they came, very much the shining example of an aristocrat. He still kept his hand offered to the boy on the floor, though his blue eyes followed the other, who scrambled.. He wouldn't go very far, as most all of the rooms in the castle were locked at this time, other than the kitchen, library, and his personal room... Shaking his head at the boy's skittishness, Vaga decided he'd try to speak with that one at a later time, Right now he was going to try to get off on a good foot with the guests here in the common room.
