The Spa
The Spa area is actually made up of several smaller sections:
The Changing Rooms: Self-explanatory. Small, thick-walled cubicles with ridged rubber flooring, hooks and one thin shelf on the side wall, and a mirror on the back of the door. A small wood-slat bench is mounted on the back wall. A basic changing room and nothing more. There are two of them.
The Toilets: Simple tiled rooms containing flush toilets and sinks with liquid soap. It's a toilet. What else is there to say?
The Sauna: This windowless room is paneled with redwood. Wooden benches line the walls; in the center of the room is large brazier-like device containing hot stones. A fountain in one wall gives forth cool water to be collected in simple wood-carved basins and sloshed onto the warm stones to create steam.
The Hot Tubs: The floor here is clean, smooth wood free of splinters. The tubs are set into the ground, with dials next to each of the two tubs to allow the users to choose the settings for the jacuzzi jets. There are a few windows in the outer wall here to let in light, but they are frosted so that nobody can spy. Fa'e can choose if they want to use the tubs with swimsuits on - or not!
