This thread gives a description of all the holidays celebrated in Tenshi, their meaning to the school, and what rewards you will get if you celebrate that holiday.

Valentines Day
Ah Valentines Day! The perfect time to give oodles of chocolate to your friends and special someone. And here at Tenshi we make it really easy for you to fine the perfect gift! Tenshi hosts a fundraiser every year selling candy and preasants on Valentines Day. You can buy candies and custom presents for your friends, and all the proceeds go to the guild mule for future use.
Small Candy: 500 gold
Medium Candy: 1,000 gold
Large Candy: 2,500 gold
Custom Present: 5k to 10k
Each bought candy earns you 5 credits.
Each bought custom present earns you 15 credits.

St. Patrick's Day
St Patrick's Day might not be a big holiday at Tenshi, but it is a fun one! For St Patties day, Jim hosts a gathering at the Bird Wing Bar, where beer and root beer flow freely. There's dancing and singing and falling on the floor, all good fun on St Patties Day!

EasterEaster in Tenshi is one of the most loved holidays. The staff hides brilliantly colored Easter eggs all over campus and the students can find them. But the reason the students love the Easter egg hunt is because each egg contains free credits! Easter is the perfect opportunity to rake in a good amount of credits for minimal, and very enjoyable amount of effort.Jessra Kaji It's Easter Egg Hunt time here at Tenshi. Here's how it works:
The mods will post clues in various threads around campus as to where an egg is hidden and then you go to that place in Tenshi and find the egg so to speak. The first person to find it receives credits! It's a role play still so that means you have to rp your character finding the egg. All characters are welcome, but the first come first serve rule still applies. When you've found an egg, go back to the event thread and post your name and where you found it. The mods will double check to see if your right and if you are...TADA! Instant credits lol. You'll have only the alloted event time to hunt , so hurry up and find those eggs! We don't want any rotten ones hanging about!!!
Credit System:
10 eggs=20 credits
20 eggs=40 credits
30 eggs=60 credits
etc.
Less than 10 eggs system:
1 egg=2 credits
2 eggs=4 credits
3 eggs=6 credits
4 eggs=8 credits
5 eggs=10 credits
6 eggs=12 credits
7 eggs=14 credits
8 eggs=16 credits
9 eggs=18 credits

The Demonic Purging
The Demonic Purging isn't exactly a holiday. Its more specifically a recognized time of hardship by the school. On the day of the Demonic Purging, the stars align in just the right way, which in turn causes the moon to turn a blood red color. This is the day when any full blooded demon on the surface world looses all of his or her powers. It is only temporary, lasting the 24 hours or so the moon is in the sky, but can be a very traumatizing experience. The safest thing for full blooded demons to do is return to the Underworld a few days before the purging. There they will keep their powers, as well as be protected by their own kind. If a demon wishes to stay on the surface world, they can seek shelter with the headmistress for the time being.
Also, creatures with any amount of demon blood in their veins are also affected by the purging, but not as much as true demons. Depending on how much demon is in them is how weakened they will feel during the purging. But they will not loose all of their powers.

The Summer Bonfire
Ah, the summer. Hot, humid days; cool balmy nights. There isn't much to do around Tenshi in the summer. Luckily the school was blessed with a beautiful beach near by. The summer bonfire is an annual party that takes place down on Coral Beach. It starts in the morning with breakfast on the beach. Bruce caters an entire buffet, complete with everything from pastries and parfaits to crepes and coco puffs.
In the afternoon there's barbecuing, watermelon smashing and a sand castle building contest. There will be plenty of lounging around in the sun and goofing off in the surf. Once the sun sets, a DJ shows up to play some music and the bonfire starts. The night finally comes to an end when the bonfire dies down around 2 in the morning.
Attending the Bonfire - 40 credits
Best sand castle - 15 credits
Best watermelon smash - 10 credits

Halloween
Halloween at Tenshi is a huge event. Everyone loves to join in the fun. Costumes aren't a requirement since there are so many different people, but it's still fun to dress up as something and try to confuse your friends. But Trick-or-Treating is the favorite past time on all hallows eve. Every staff member, teacher and all the business owners in Solaquedar hand out candy. You might even find candy just lying around. But the grand prize is if you can find the headmistress wandering about. If you come across Glissa and pester her enough, she'll give you a golden candy! Now you might be wondering what's so great about candy. Well the great thing is that you can redeem your candy for credits!
Random Candy- 1 credit
NPC Candy - 3 credits
Teacher Candy - 5 credits
Golden Candy - 20 credits
There is also a small get together in the Dormitory rec room. When you want to redeem your credits, post in the event thread with a link to each post where you received your candy. We will double check your posts to make sure you actually rped getting the candy and give you your credits!

Tenshi Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is the day when the whole school gathers together for a giant feast to celebrate and appreciate the School, and what it means to have Tenshi as a safe place to study their arts.
The feast takes place in the Dining Hall.
Attending the feast earn you 45 credits.

Tenshi Day is the anniversary of the founding of Tenshi University. The headmistress hands our free credits to any student who acknowledges this day.
