It was just a normal day for Tokidoki, as he decided he'd stop by at the beach. He had been flying all morning, and needed a little break. He hadn't been to the beach in a while, and decided he'd it'd be a good stop to rest at. He remembered when he used to come out here during the night. The stars always seem to shine brighter out here. Maybe he'd stay all day, just to see the stars again. He let his hooves dig deep into sand as he trailed the shore. This area was quite a peaceful place for a break. Not to mention the smell of the water, calming. He wasn't thinking about what fun he could have here. He was just relaxing. Taking in the moment. But if he were to come across some unexpected company, there might surely be some fun. But not at this moment. He looked around, there didn't seem to be anyone near. I suppose it was just going to be a day for him. He didn't mind. He hadn't seen anyone new in a while. That wasn't anything new. He would usually spend his days in the sky, and come down for a short break. So, he didn't catch many Soq. He did however, enjoy the company when he did come across it. It was nice to meet other Soq. But he didn't mind either way. But only time would know what would happen today. Whether he'd spend the day alone, or find some company.

A slight distance away, not really far enough to be entirely out of the stallion's scope of notice, but no where near enough to be a danger, a mare glided over the surface of the water. Without knowing her, it likely seemed that she was just an adventurous young adult, skimming her hooves over gently lapping waves simply for the fun of it. There was truth in that, of course; she was having fun, and the delight was obvious on her face.
She was also looking for a stretch of beach to land on.
Wings spread to their fullest extent, Celandine laughed as her hooves split the surface of the water, sending rises of it up behind her like the fins of an animal. She hadn't been flying very long in the area, but she knew that the beach was close, not only from distance, but from the smell of the trees and flowers that the wind was carrying ever nearer to her.
Fully enjoying herself, it never occurred to her that anyone might be watching, or that she ought to be a little more careful approaching the land. When she felt sand begin to drag on the tips off her hooves, she simply dropped them, splashing merrily in the shallow water as she touched down and flapped her wings briskly.
What a flight! She could spend all day over the ocean if she had half a mind to.
Turning in quick circles, she laughed loudly, dancing out of the water and onto the beach. She was pleased with herself, both for a successful flight and a successful landing.

As Toki trailed the shores, he unexpectedly heard laughing. With the raise of a brow, he continued on. Maybe he would meet someone today. Or maybe, it was the ocean playing tricks on him. As he continued on, he didn't seem to see anyone. However, he hadn't been looking in the right direction. He was looking towards land, rather then water. And before he knew it, there she was, landing. He hadn't seen her over the ocean at all, but she was there now. He watched her for a moment, she was laughing rather loudly. But that only made Toki smile. Laughter surely wouldn't make anyone do anything otherwise, surely.
He scanned the mare, before he went over to her. Or she spotted him. She had four wings. An Angeni, he had never come across one before. Toki had heard many great stories of Angeni. He wondered, Maybe she'll have some great stories to tell.. With that one his mind, it didn't take him very log to start trotting over to her. Toki was acting a bit more bubbly then his usual self. It only took him moments before he became close enough to the mare, to where she could hear him.
"Hello over there." He continued to smile, trying not to come off as harmful.
Toki was quite the opposite of that. He would never try to harm anyone. And was rather kind, especially to mares. He could get a little competitive & snippy around stallions.. But never mares. He hadn't met any that made him that way yet.

At the sound of an unfamiliar voice she lifted her head, swinging it in the direction of the sound, ears perched high atop her head and pointing forward. The smile on her face only widened at the prospect of company, and she began to walk toward the stallion, picking up her still dripping hooves in an exaggerated march to attempt to dry them. The sounds of the ocean at her back were loud and didn't allow her to pinpoint exactly where the stranger might have been, but she was confident she'd figure it out if given a few moments.
"Hello!" Voice bright, carrying over the lapping of waves and brush of wind, she fluttered her wings briskly and bobbed her head in greeting. What better way to celebrate a day of leisure than to make a new acquaintance, and hopefully a new friend?
Nevermind the fact she was dripping wet from the knees down; little things like that shouldn't matter too much.
Stopping what she felt was a respectable distance, given how far she'd been able to judge his position from hers, cocked her head, listening for more cues as to his location. "Beautiful day, isn't it? I was just enjoying a little flight over the ocean, then a dance on the beach."

He continued her way until they had basically met. Not expecting to meet anyone, it was nice that there was someone else here. She didn't seem harmful at all. She also didn't seem to think he was. Which was good, as he was no harm to anyone.. Unless they were gonna be harm to him.
He let his hooves become buried in the sand. Stretching out his wings, and letting the wind come around him. Before putting his wings back to his side. He was quite the unique stallion.. When it comes to his pelt. He much resembled a rock star. But acted nothing like one now a days. That was his past. He had changed plenty since then. He didn't like to mention his past with anyone, he wasn't very pleased with it. He would much rather share less personal things. It wasn't very easy to break him when it came to his past. Not easy at all.
"Very. I was just enjoying flight before I landed on the beach myself." He nodded.
(( I'm failing at these replied. XD; ))

Another flying Soquili? Delighted, she unfurled her wings, rustling a bit in her excitement. Though she'd just been flying, it truly was one of her favorite things to do, and she was surprised by how many Soquili she'd met who were able to do the same. Before descending to Kawani lands, she'd been told that there were very few Angeni, and she would likely be an object of great curiosity. She'd been worried - no one to fly with? And to be constantly on display? - but it didn't seem that would be the way of things.
Everyone she'd met so far had been very kind, and aside from asking a few questions, none of them rude or overly probing, she'd been treated just as another new mare to the lands. It was thrilling, and so nice. She felt she could actually make a home of this place, and much easier than she'd thought.
Of course, Celandine had been determined to make the lands seem as friendly and welcoming to her as her own home had been, but things were shaping up so nicely that she wasn't going to have to try as hard.
She smiled at her new companion. "Isn't flying lovely? Oh, how rude of me - I haven't even told you my name! It's Celandine, though Cela works just as well."
(( Aww, nuh uh! xD Toki is cute. I have fun reading your responses. <333 ))

Toki couldn't agree more! Flying was probably one of the most amazing privileges one could have. If you're able to fly travel is so much more easier.. Toki himself lived all the way up in the mountains. He could get to anywhere in only a few minutes. But not only that, flying gives him much of the feeling of being free. No chains holding him back, no worries.. Just complete freedom. He could fly all day, without even realizing it. There was always something new to notice. Even if you've flown over the same place a million times. Flying was surely something he couldn't live without.
He kept smiling. "It is the best. Celandine is it? What a lovely name! I'm Tokidoki.. Any shortening is fine." He laughed.
He was very glad to have met this mare today, and lucky. He hadn't been home in a few days. His human would've surely seen this encounter in her visions.. She surely did. She always tried to to lead him to the right crowd, after his rocky past. He appreciated her help greatly, and would never turn it down. Even if it ended up not as originally seen. Wonder what else today would bring~
(( You're to kind.. 'Cause I think they fail. Lol. This one was much better though. XD ))
