18 years is quite the accomplishment. In our culture you are considered an adult now and life will be taking some crazy changes I am sure you will adapt, many others have done it before you so the path is well worn, and if you need advice you can talk to those who have taken the journey.
Then again I guess that is a right reserved to people who can still talk... You may get lucky though! It isn't like your tongue is falling out, just getting long and pointy. You could somehow possibly relearn English. The t sound may be hard because of the razor sharp teeth but hey biting it off isn't really a problem, it will just come back.
That makes the journey that much more interesting though, sure you may fall down, but after you get up the scrapes will heal, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and hell in your case you could get new limbs from a wound so hey that is pretty snazzy, and you don't need to worry about getting your head lopped off because then you will just have company, haven't you always wanted a soul you could share your experiences with that shares your interests? How about another head? Viola no problem.
The last obstacles in asking the help of older wiser people will be the poisonous breath and the hunger for human flesh, but you have great willpower and i'll bet you will think of something for the breath thing. Congrats on lapping the sun again, I am gonna be over here while your newly super fast cellular regeneration takes over and changes you. If you need anything just ask somebody else.
