I have no idea if they use different code for profiles and forums.
just a though
mrgreen ninja It has something to do with keeping viruses out I'm sure.
glitches cause by some type of virus or something?
No, a glitch is never caused by a virus. Glitches are parts of computer code that are not designed correctly and cause problems that the programmer did not foresee, or the program is working outside of it's limits, for example if gaia fishing allowed an unlimited number of people to join a room it would crash.
oh i see
so what is a virus?
A virus is piece of code or program that is intentionally created by a hacker to do damage to the another computer or make them lose money in some way.
there are several types of viruses: trojan horse, self propagating, polymorphic, and rootkits, I think that is it.
examples:
downloading a program that you thought did something else and it reformats or destroys your hard drive.
You download something and you notice a red firetruck goes across the screen at random times (lol as long as it isn't me)
Another is the type that steals your money when you use online banking without an antivirus program
A virus can also edit you computer registry and cause it to crash all the time.
