Abyssal Doom
Day by day
I feel this same way
as if I was falling...
falling down an endless abyss
I don't know what made me this way
everyday I stray, farther away
I can't end this feeling
and for a normal life I greatly miss
and for this I pray
that I just may
wake up from endless dreaming
but I just can't find bliss
but wait...
I think today just might be my day
because I think I have stopped falling
in this deep, dark abyss
now I pray
to be free from this dismay
now I'm stepping
towards the exi--WOAH!
well, looks like today was not my day
to end this way
because I have stepped off a cliff,
into another abyss.

You know...when reading a poem you ALWAYS have to read it twice in order to understand what the author is trying to say. I read your poem ten times out of pure enjoyment.
Your beginning and your ending...it like...links together. And your poem is like endless. I can picture your words in my head, and the narrator opening a door with the EXIT sign over it and he walks out and starts falling into eternal darkness...the abyss. Oooooooooh!
If I were a publisher I'd publish this.
....12 times. I just LOVE that ending.
