Wylde quietly moved about his shop arranging this thing or that upon their shelves, the shop front and shop looked like it only offered magical items no more, no less. The red haired man hand no intention of letting children amble about freely anymore but he was sure it would happen again sooner or later, but hopefully not so soon after getting the last two to their homes. It was one of those sunny days where the wild mage would rather be outside traipsing about and bothering the general populace but his brother refused to help look after the shop at the moment and the mage lacked an assistant to take over watching the shop.
Such a bother.
Perhaps he would summon someone from one of the other planes; they would surely want to help him! Quietly the man began to plot and go over spells within his head, the wheels were turning now and nothing would stop them, well, almost nothing. If someone suddenly came in that would likely take his attention and derail his very precarious train of thought, at least for a time.

Liam was still getting accustomed to taking in the world around him, not gathering information like he use to, but actually seeing and thinking. The droid had ..just gained awareness and now he could look at a tree and no longer calculate its size and bring up information on the type it was or immediately figure out the amount of leaves on the tree.
He walked casually instead of briskly, he found the sounds interesting...and though he could pick up every conversation and separate them and then blur them back together he was only happy he didn't have to care about them or he would evesdrop on one couple who were talking about something as interesting as the girl being pregnant.
He understood the term found the whole process rather intriguing though..being a droid he had no sexual urges of his own. though he still found the whole process interesting he never really thought he would find himself in a situation like that.
He wore very simple clothes..as his human skin looked more like a silver cloth spread over his metal frame. The only thing remotely human about him was his face, it was skillfully crafted to express emotions well, he was a droid meant to look human..and now he thought like one too.. if a bit too calculating still.
He paused and then backed up a couple of steps as he noticed a strange store. It felt like his body was being pulled there, like a gaint magnent was inside drawing him inwards. Curious, still a fairly new emotion for him, he pushed the door open to step inside.

He was pondering still even as the new individual entered the shop and it wasn't until the sound announcing a new entry, a single soft pleasant sounding chime, that had brought his train of thought completely and utterly to a stop, and was now amongst some other area of the mage's odd disjointed mind. Wylde paused in his mindless arrangements of things and turned to face the new person that had entered and blinked his bi-colored eyes at the motley looking figure.
How strange this person looked so synthetic that it almost seemed unreal. Still Wylde put a grin upon his lips and approached the figure before him and offered a small respectful bow, "Greetings, Friend, how may I assist you this fine day? I am Wylde Riddim the owner of this establishment." It was always good to start off with introducing himself but he rarely greeted anyone the same way twice.

Liam looked around a bit interested as he took his surrondings, he then focused on the man in front of him and nodded his head outstretching a hand out of habit, the politeness program was so ingrained in his system he couldn't help it.
"Liam Isengaurd." He replied, he had just adopted the first and the last name upon gaining emotions. Before he had been known at number 9.
"Your store is very..interesting." He said after a moment his gaze flicking to the shelves as zooming on things a further away and then closer. He could catalog everything he could see in his brain but though he found it all as he said interesting, he wasn't really sure what brought him to the store.
"Assist? I don't need assistance, I don't think anyway." He replied with a smile. Another ingrained trait..smiling.

Wylde took the hand and shook it once before releasing it and offering a smile of his own. The red haired man seemed pleased that this stranger seemed to find his shop interesting and the pleasure was easy to see on his face. The man nodded his head sagely as he went on, "Yes, thank you Mr. Isengard," the mage replied cheerfully as he stepped away as if to honor the concept of personal space. His fingertips formed a steeple in front of him as he watched Liam and nodded.
"So I see, well I have a wide variety of services to provide, one being that I can help you find a ... Companion to care for. Many find a world much easier to live in when they have someone to care about," Wylde offered quietly as he watched the synthetic man before him with a small smile. Yes this being looked like he wanted a purpose in life and that is perhaps why he appeared here...

Liam looked around he didn't even move his head and stood perhaps a bit too perfectly still to be human but it was still..habit. It was hard to get use to the idea he could move forward hold the item in his hand and examine it that way rather than letting his radar do all the work. Still.. he did turn his head to face Wylde.
"Companion?" The word registered in his brain instantly the numerous meanings blossoming in his robotic brain, he blinked once before tilting his head slightly to the right.
"I doubt I could satisfy a companion." He replied and it was true... he lacked the parts that could label him as ..well ...male.
"Unless you mean a friend." He continued with a small smile.

The mage's eyebrow twitched at the comment of satisfying a companion what did that person mean by that? Hell if he knew and then when Liam continued Wylde's brow furrowed a bit and rubbed the back of his neck. Is that the first place people's mind goes to when he says the word 'companion'? How strange that seemed to him. Companion has but one meaning to him and that was someone to care for and what not but none of it involved the bedroom. Indeed.
Wylde shifted his shoulders and nodded slowly, "Yes, I meant something along those lines but on the other hand this being would become more your child than your friend," The wild mage replied in honesty as his hands moved to fold behind his back. Wylde was 'crazy' by whatever definition you held but that didn't make him dishonest. He was honest, mostly, with all of his patrons thus far and he wasn't going to stop with this one.
All of the 'companions' had come out as children whether or not he intended it and it seemed far too late to go around changing it now. It also seemed as if some people couldn't resist the adorable little buggers so may as well keep offering his 'companions' as children for adoption.

Liam continued to look at Wylde as his registered the words he spoke he seemed taken aback.
"A child? With..me?" He continued feeling a bit out of sorts. All the information about children spilled out of files he knew of. THe idea of leaving a child with him..seemed bizzare.
"But..I am not alive..." He continued looking unsure of himself. Caring for someone, especially the young needed someone capable of all their emotions and a lot of patience. And though he had the patience part down pat...he hadn't really discovered his range of emotions yet.

Wylde canted his head from side to side thoughtfully before he nodded, "Sure you seem like the type that is capable of caring for a child. It isn't like you need some sort of special magical power to care." The mage reasoned with a small shrug and then smirked as he admitted, "I managed to take care of two children thus far without them exploding or dying on me and I am the most irresponsible man alive at least when it comes to caring for others."
He quietly stared at Liam for a long moment, "We are all alive, in our own way, and how do you define living?" Wylde queried quietly with a curious expression. "Are you alive because you breathe or bleed or are you alive because you have emotions and can learn from mistakes? Being 'alive' shouldn't be narrowed down to bodily functions and what you do and do not have."

Liam nodded his head the human made sense and a small smile registered on his face as he recognized the man's sarcasm towards his own child rearing. When the question came to him about living he had to pause.
To him...everything was spelled out. Life was the ability to grow and age, to reproduce and die. In a sense he grew from his experiences but not in body, he was unable to reproduce and he guessed he could die if he broke.
"You know what..I think I have come to like your thinking." He replied after a few moments of silent calculations.
"Though I am still new to the world of emotions...do you really think a child would be best for me to be with?"

Wylde smirked just a little at the figure before him and murmured lightly, "Don't let my brother hear that, he'll just say that you are as insane as I am." He turned his back toward Liam and began to move deeper into his shop and began readjusting the way certain things sat in his display and allowed the next question float after him. The mage gazed back at the synthetic man with his strange eyes and simply shrugged and offered a chuckle.
"It is said we learn more from the children in our lives than what we teach them as they grow. Perhaps the child will teach you about the feeling of wanting to protect someone and parental love along side it." Wylde pointed out logically. It was all a part of a scheme to the strange man a scheme and a smidgeon of actual sincerity.

The android moved after the man in a curious manner there were so many possibilities if he looked after a child, how he could learn from the experience and grow made him a bit excited.
"Very well." He called out, "You have managed to convince me that your words ring true. THough..this seems like a strange place to have an adoption facility." He continued as he looked about the items on the shelf.

Wylde simply gestured for Liam to follow behind him after the synthetic man had agreed to the mage's line of thinking. He shrugged his shoulders at Liam's observation and gave a small laugh, "I suppose so, but then the way I get the children here isn't exactly 'normal' either, so I guess it suits the situation. Follow me, my friend. I will show you how it works here."
He moved toward an oddly marked door and opened it and simply walked through, leaving it open for Liam to follow or not, Wylde for now was leaving it totally up to Liam. "You don't mind signing paperwork do you?" Wylde's voice asked from within the room.

Liam followed in behind the human slowly though he took in the information around him without turning his head, when the door was left open he didn't hesistate to move through it.
"Paper work?" He questioned, "Of course not. I would understand that you need to keep it all legal." He continued as he moved to follow ater Wylde.

"That's pretty much part of it and also so we can keep track of everyone," Wylde said calmly as he rolled up his sleeves and wandered down a set of stairs to yet another door which he opened and entered without much further word. From the open door a faint blue glow spilled out onto the walls and floor and a soft 'whirring' sound was also heard, it was not unpleasant but it was noticeable.
Following Wylde inside the first view one sees is a large doorframe like object but instead of looking past onto the other side or into another room the frame is filled with various types of sceneries flashing from one to the other and sometimes, for a long time, settling into the view of a night time sky which sometimes shifted and faded into colors of dark blues to deep violets. The feel of magic practically crackled in the air and everything in the room just felt so alive. Further glancing around the room would show strange marks on the wall, and that the 'doorframe' stood upon a small dais type structure with a sign next to it reading: EXIT ONLY. DO NOT ENTER.
Wylde stood off to the side of the dais and waited for Liam to join him.
