[Ran into something interesting today. Someone asked why everyone was naming their Coco Kitties "Onyx." I replied, "because 'onyx' has become synonymous with 'black.'" And someone went on to post "Negro = black." Don't know if he was intending to offend or not. It doesn't matter. I posted "Wouldn't it be funny if people started naming their Coco Kitties 'negro?'" Wouldn't it? Why not do something to catch people's eye? Get a response? That's the essence that holds Gaia together afterall... wink ]

I doubt they said that to offend anyone. Probably some four year old kid that doesnt know what they were talking about.

[I hope they weren't four years old, but I have come to believe they are Hispanic, so they weren't all wrong for posting "negro=black," since the words mean the same thing in different languages.]
[As for the Coco, I don't have one. I never get too many things for this account, and I donated most of the items and gold from my main account so I could take a hiatus from Gaia. neutral The Cocos came out while I was on hiatus I think.]

It's funny because I named my CoCo Kitty 'Onyx', after the stone. If I get another CoCo, I'm naming it 'Isis'.

And I'll be naming my KiKi Kitty 'cracker' and if they come out with a tan one, I will name it 'rice n beanerz'. And if there are yellow ones, I will name it, 'chinky'.
